I think I saw this in a movie about aging rock stars, life imitates art I guess .

And this Thursday Madonna let her 14.6 million Instagram followers in on the ‘rehab’ she has been undergoing with help from osteopath Jean Michel Ete.

The 61-year-old pop diva posted a video of herself having her blood drawn, mixed with ozone gas and then reinserted with an IV drip - known as autohemotherapy. ‘Infusing the blood………….Vitamin drip…………..Tibetan bowls……..singing and meditation. ………….. Felt amazing afterwards !!’ Madonna wrote on Instagram.

No, but we might end up with a final three of Biden, Bernie and Tulsi.

Which would suck.

Mayor Pete Just Broke Charles P. Pierce’s First Law of Economics

I am saddened to inform the assembled that Pete Buttigieg has gotten himself crossways with the shebeen’s First Law of Economics. To wit: Fck the Deficit. People got no jobs. People got no money. According to Liz Goodwin of the Boston Globe on the electric Twitter machine, Buttigieg took advantage of a gaggle on the campaign trail to unburden himself of several dubious notions.

One thing I find off is how he doesn’t “pick on someone your own size”. While Biden is yelling at a guy for repeating something the President of the United States is saying, the President’s lawyer is in Ukraine with a graduate of KGB school, and son of an KGB agent, creating new lies. This is what Biden should be talking about, and a lot.

They are only insane if they face consequences for their treasonous actions. As Nancy says, “All roads lead to Putin”. In 2017, the GOP (except for Rand Paul and a couple congressmen) was in lockstep against Putin; now they are being assimilated into the Putin fan club. It almost appears as though the term RINO is now being applied to those who wish to stand up against Putin. Let’s see if enough will actually stand up for our nation to rid us of this administration or if we doomed to join the long history of powerful nations that collapsed basically from within.

Joe Biden’s biggest liability has always been his big mouth. He’s gonna sink himself with it one of these days.

While that is true, if Biden’s biggest liability is his mouth, he’s sitting in a good position. The occasional misstatements happen to all of us.

We on the left need to stop expecting our candidates to be perfect. Is he going to screw over the poor, minorities, or women? Is he going to go out of his way to piss off our allies and coddle dictators?

He’s not my top choice (she just left the race), but he’s not Trump, Steyer, Bloomberg, Sanders, Yang, or Pete.

He’s in the group I’m not going to get worked up about.

As for Warren, if they attack her, it had better make Democrats more determined, not sitting there going “I knew this would happen” and rock on the floor with their knees pulled up to their chest.

I must be the kiss of death! Harris was my first choice. Would now love to see her as VP or AG. The other two I hope will be in the cabinet in some way. Now I have to hope Booker keeps going.

I want a “quantum physics generator.”

The article is actually funny.

The Dispatch header is pretty out there—the story, and the reports on the TV station pages are not quite so hysterical. I know that neighborhood well—had friends who lived right around the corner.

Well, it wasn’t the “Nuclear Boy Scout,” David Hahn. He died three years ago (drug and alcohol use). Of course I had to check to make sure, but this guy is in Ohio and Hahn lived in Michigan.

I’m not a physicist, but his description sounds like “raving moron” territory. Now on the other hand, there was the boy scout back in the 1970’s who built a nuclear device as part of a science fair project, ordering hundreds of surplus smoke detectors and then concentrating the thorium from them. As I recall, they discovered his device because a government vehicle with a geiger counter caught the whiff of radiation while driving down a side street.

It may sound ludicrous: but I got an unpleasant feeling reading this: because it seems like an all-too-credible blueprint for how the Trump Team* is going to be handling the Senate trial. Which is probably to turn it, deliberately, into a volume-turned-to-eleven circus of bluster, fake-outrage, insult, deflection, conspiracy theory - the whole Trump Act: as loud and offensive as possible. And giving the entire process not the least shred of legitimacy or respect, never mind dignity or formality. Which they will do, knowing the game is rigged from the get-go. And whether John Roberts is on the dais trying to keep order or not is irrelevant: he can’t - practically - do shit for or against Trump, so it won’t matter.
