FAA Grounds Local Mini Drone Aerial Photo Business
Updated from my comment below. There are established rules for RC flight of small planes. Within that set of rules why would be make commercial use illegal at a Federal level? Why not allow businesses to get that kind of footage for their own commercial reasons? Real estate, Nurseries, car lots might want nice flyby footage for their advertising. ut as we stand today, we have a blanket ban via the FAA. An unnecessary impedance to business. That means jobs and the economy adapting to new opportunities.
Might this add to the intrusive government argument? I would sure think so.
Danielson have been flying radio controlled aircraft since they little kids growing up in the same neighborhood.
As adults they formed a business, sharing a love of video production and photography.
Soon, they discovered their hobby could merge with their business, which took a huge leap when they began taking on aerial photographic work.
By mounting stabilized cameras onto the bellies of the drone aircraft, Eide and Danielson can offer customers a bird’s-eye view of anything from construction sites, to city attractions, to real estate listings.
