I took the liberty of un-blockquoting the post, because they’re your words - no need to quote them. Well said.

Wow, excellent. And brave, because I know you’re probably going to get trolled for this—maybe not here, but on Twitter and possibly on your blog.

Thank you so much for writing this. It gladdens my heart, not only as a Muslim, but also as a fellow human being. I’m proud to know you. May you be rewarded a thousand-fold for your sincere efforts to support what is good, loving, and just in the world, and reject what is hateful and destructive.

I wish I had more up-dings to give you.

excellent job. I really hope you get some kind of response.

A good kind of response, not some shrill screeching drunken diatribe from Pamela.

Let me add my voice as a raised-Catholic, now Panentheist (en.wikipedia.org ) person, I am proud to know you as a fellow human being, too.

Vicious Babushka,

Job well done!

Good news is, that I have a feeling that Pamela won’t be the one who’ll notice this. She’s not really one of the people who matters if they see it or not. Its the people who are might be persuaded not to support her and people like her.

Vicious Babushka,

By the way, I tried to leave a comment on your blog, but it wouldn’t let me sign in. There’s a guy there ( whose commenting under the user name “face book” who left a comment and he/she sounds like he/she needs to be told to use Google.

Indeed. I doubt it would matter much though. People who want to hate are going to hate—they’ll just say that any Muslims speaking out against terrorism are practicing taqiyyah. Nonetheless, in case you ever need it, here’s a useful link for those too lazy to Google the hundreds of statements that are out there:

Shock: Kilmeade doesn’t know that Muslim leaders have spoken out against terrorism - Media Matters, 8 Jul 2010

Interesting, thanks. I’d never of Panentheism until today.

You have to sign in using Typepad, Facebook or Twitter before leaving a comment. I had to disable anonymous comments because of spam.

Okay, thanks. It won’t let me sign in through twitter for some odd reason, so maybe I’ll try to set up a typepad account later.

I don’t drink soda either but you can buy me a two cents plain.

I got some DMs that Pam is ranting and raving and calling me a “Kapo.” Not that it was unexpected or anything, but I didn’t even think she would notice, since I’m all blocked and shit.

Sounds like you struck a nerve. If she’s hating on you it only reinforces that you did the right thing.

Yeah, she’s a supporter of “free speech” as long as its “free speech” she agrees with
