Well, to be fair, that case was pretty clear cut. The rifle caliber entrance wound to the head with no signs of a struggle would destroy any claim of self-defense, especially since Rogers was clearly drunk when the police arrived. But it does show the Sanford PD can actually do their jobs when they want to. But in Trayvon Martin’s case, they clearly did not want to.

Umm, no; in this instance, it was Seminole County deputies who responded to the call and locked the guy up, not Sanford PD, because it appears to be in the county’s jurisdiction.

By Google Maps, Geneva appears to me to be at least 2-3 miles east-southeast of Sanford.
