No, there are some that insert tab A into slot C, and others who do things involving just slot b, and, well, you get the picture.

I've given up shamanism for awhile, I need a clear head. I'm getting much less good sleep without the, er, dreamcatcher to help, though.

A few years ago, they suddenly started appearing all over Paris. Just like the Irish Pubs a couple of decades ago. At the time, many of those pubs were funneling money to the IRA. France passed a very inclusive no smoking in public places law a few years ago, and all the hookah joints closed down. I wasn't unhappy to see them go.

According to the article I read (clearly, making me an authority on the topic/), it said that in areas that had public smoking bans, hookah smoking was being waived with the bans holding for cigarettes and cigars.

That's the thing about Jane Austen, and the other "romantic" books. As much as I like them, I am reminded that my own personal ancestors weren't even at the level of bringing in Elizabeth Bennett Darcy's tea. They were mining coal and farming. Most people's ancestors were the lower 95% of society, obviously, but somehow when we think of regency England, we think of the 5% who left behind portraits and books.

People who have had past life regression under hypnosis generally reveal rather ordinary existences. The technique has been used on a very limited basis, but with success, to treat some severe forms of mental illness.

re: #39 EmmmieG

I was apparently mistaken.

A common belief among users is that the smoke is significantly less dangerous than that from cigarettes.[22] The water moisture induced by the hookah makes the smoke less irritating and may give a false sense of security and reduce concerns about true health effects.[23] Doctors at institutions including the Mayo Clinic have stated that use of hookah is equally detrimental to a person's health as smoking cigarettes,[24][25] and a study by the World Health Organization also confirmed these findings.[26]

The additive are nearly insignificant. It is the tobacco and the dose which are the primary threats. Smoking a wad the size of a pack of cigarettes for an hour suggests a large dose.

Remember the dose makes the poison.
