Stacking is an efficiency technique rather than a flavor enhancer. Basically you stack when you are on the run, in a hurry or already burned 28 minutes of your 30 minute lunch.
Calzones are good but they take too long, just warm me 2 slices and let me bolt.

Tunisia and Egypt have opened again just a couple of weeks back. It’s not looking good at all. re: #67 Westward Ho
The first couple (of many) reasons, in descending order of why you should stfu:
1) Charles’ blog, Charles’ rules. If he wants to turn the blog into a 24/7 video-based infomercial for slap chop, he can. Personally, I would then stop reading, but you know, if it makes him happy who gives a shit. If something he’s done has upset you, go read something else (like it seems you have been for a few years). It is the internet afterall, no shortage of content.
2) Your approach is all wrong. Lets say, after a long absence (or period of lurking/non-commenting), you have finally reached the breaking point of Charles’ actions. You might try first genuinely asking him what the deal is before layering in accusations, or even sending a private message to him. Putting him on blast just seems silly.
Or you know, you might try re-engaging with the current commenting population to test the waters a bit.
I could go on…

Er, no. Back when several people regularly posted on the stalkers’ behavior, that comment may have been relevant, but trust me “stalker talk” has dropped off considerably in the past few months. Sometimes when there’s a reminder (like the now-banned troll in this thread) or alert about their nick-jacking/cybervandalism, you’ll get some discussion, but it’s no longer a regular occurrence.

All I knew about that Famous Famiglia pizza place is that Albanians own it – but it definitely isn’t an “Albanian chain” as the Fox News reporter referenced it in the above clip. I’ve never tried it though.
As for Stewart’s recommendations — Grimaldi’s is way overrated. Not worth the trip to Brooklyn. John’s on Bleecker St was very good. I’d definitely go back there. I want to try to Arturo’s coal oven pizza…been intending to do that for years.
I just don’t find Jon Stewart funny though…and it has nothing to do with his politics. Give me Conan or Norm Macdonald. Everything Stewart says seems forced and inauthentic.

technical question:
if you are on a public (but passworded) wifi in, say, a cafe, on your windows xp laptop with filesharing turned off - can somebody on the same wifi copy files off of your harddrive?
For XP, I don’t think whether it’s a public or private LAN (or wifi hotspot) matters, nor does presence or absence of password authentication for access, except that risks are generally lower when authentication is required. For XP, the files-sharing setting within your machine then determines whether or not any folders you may have designated as shared are visible to others on the same LAN, or on the internet. (I’ve limited experience w/XP, but I think even folders designated as shared would then not be accessible to others.)
On Vista and later, when a particular wifi access point is setup, the OS asks you to characterize it as “public” (ie, to be less trusted) or “private” (more trustworthy). For the public option, that bit of info is used for automatically modifying the firewall rules (temporarily) to help prevent your machine from advertising its presence, and to constrain/override whatever sharing may have been in effect, so long as you are connected to that particular public AP. For Vista, I think the effect is more or less like having the file-sharing option turned off temporarily.
