Breitbart Commenters Totally Unhinged Over SCOTUS ACA Decision

Once again, no introduction needed.

Its very obvious homosexual Barry has the goods on Roberts…

=====

Time for rebellion. The court has no legitimacy, nor does Congress or the President. They do not respect any limits on their power and they have no respect for the rule of law. They are out of control, power mad traitors.

=====

Time for a cleansing.

=====

A complete & and final cleansing. Take no prisoners type of cleansing. This is crap !

=====

Aha! I’ve been waiting to hear Obama has Roberts family threatened sine 2012

=====

The initials SS, are more representative of the Gestappo, than the Secret Service, in today’ Fascist States of America Dirk.

=====

The secret service doesn’t have the manpower to chase down all the anti-government sentiment that you see online. Not even close.

=====

Health care was affordable until 1986 when the sodomites irreparably broke the system with astronomical claims to cover astronomical costs of AIDS treatment. Sodomites blew up the healthcare system and their enablers in the Democrat Crime Syndicate turned it into the opportunity to erect socialized medicine based on institutional theft.

=====

You’re right Snitch. AIDS was originally called GRIDS. Take away Gays and Illegal Immigrants and our healthcare would be affordable again. Let Gays and Illegals form their own health insurance company. Of course, it will cost at least 10 times the rate for the rest of us. They made their bed, let them lie in it.

=====

i was born in 56 and just recently found the hospital bill which was an astounding $250.00…. I know there is a criminal government devaluation of our currency that would increase the cost of births like everything else but todays healthcare costs are way way out of the devaluation spectrum. Criminal’s all of them, the US Government Mafia is bleeding us dry….

Time for another Independence Day… like maybe April 15 this time around…………….

=====

The Tree of Liberty is getting very thirsty.

=====

The left has pics/videos of Roberts at f+ggot parties engaged in oral & anal pumping.

=====

Next time you see Lupe driving without a license or Abdullah smoking it up in the alley, take a good long look because those are the winners in this president’s agenda.

=====

Once again the post-Constitutional Republic shows its true colors. Goodbye red, white and blue. Hello red and green.

History repeats itself. Remember the Nazi courts’ rubber stamp of enemies of the state based upon a class?

The Supreme Papacy of the Left trumps We the People.

What’s next? Internment camps?

=====

IN JUST 6 YEARS OBAMA AND THE DEMOCRATS HAVE:
+ Destroyed our national sovereignty
+ Destroyed healthcare
+ Destroyed the sanctity of marriage
+ Turned race relations back 100 years
+ Quadrupled the number of people on food stamps
+ Restarted the Cold War
+ Turned our Military into a gay bath house
+ Reverted the middle east back into the middle ages
+ Turned the IRS and NSA into the KGB
+ Doubled the national debt
+ Infested America with Foreign Diseases
+ Wasted Billions of taxpayer $ on the Scam of “Global Warming”
+ Greatly empowered and supported Islamic radicals
+ Flooded America with illegal Aliens, Muslims and Africans

=====

As Mark Levin so brilliantly wrote…the only hope for America to cure the destruction from with is in the Convention of the States. His eleven Liberty amendments address most if not all of the ills that are destroying this once great country.

Impotent cowards screech like impotent cowards.

Only danger here is that all that furious banging on keyboards calling for “national cleansing” will hit the diseased brainpan of another Roof.

Yeah, just ask Newt, Rudy, Rush, Ronny, Kasich, McGramps, and scores of other divorced conservatives about the “sanctity of marriage”.

MY GOD THE WHINING MAKE IT STOP

This is just the warm-up; a verbal hors d’oeuvers. Just wait - if SSM is affirmed by the Supreme Court either tomorrow or Monday, the screeching is going to be off the scale.

And I fear there may be isolated acts of violence - I hope I’m wrong on that one.

From below—just ‘cuz it’s funny:

Let’s Get Drunk On Republican Obamacare Tears, Together!

And poor Antonin Scalia was so angry about the majority decision that he proclaimed in his dissent, “Words no longer have meaning if an Exchange that is not established by a State is ‘established by the State.’” We would comment on this, but banana dust intriguingly parses our kleptomaniac vertebrae. Moist colander prevails! Justice Scalia needs to ask himself: Has Anyone Really Been Far Even as Decided to Use Even Go Want to do Look More Like? Truly, we say, armadillo.

15 Targetpractice  Jun 25, 2015 12:05:02pm

What’s hilarious is that, even if the wingnut had gotten their way and Kagan had recused herself, the vote still would have 5-4 in favor of the subsidies.

Roberts dissents and all the other votes stay the same, it’s still 5-4 in the ACA’s favor.

Kagan recuses herself and everyone else votes, it’s still 5-3 in the ACA’s favor.

We’re dealing with people totally divorced from reality. They probably think that once Roberts is removed, the President will either be next or that Republican Senators will just refuse to approve of any of his nominees until 2017 rolls around and they get a Republican president who will appoint another Scalia.

From Teh Blaze: Was Supreme Court Justice John Roberts Blackmailed?

It’s time to start asking the question. It’s time to be cynical. It’s time to assume the worst of this government.

Has Supreme Court Justice John Roberts been blackmailed or intimidated?

I would put nothing by the Obama administration that lives and rules by the Chicago thug playbook.

Doubt me? On the same day that Justice Roberts and the Supremes upheld Obamacare - again - the key IRS watchdog reported to Congress that the IRS purposely destroyed evidence of a crime.

Conservatives have spent so long living in a bubble, they actually believe that SCOTUS rulings should be based on partisan politics rather than the interpretation of the law.

Indeed, 5-3, my mistake. Either way you slice it, they still lost.

I think that’s what makes Roberts signing onto the majority so stinging, they figured (rather confidently) that he was going to want to fix the “mistake” of the previous ACA ruling by joining Antonin “Short-timer” Scalia and Clarance “Wax Dummy” Thomas in voting to end the subsidies.

Jim Wright is pissed and it’s glorious:

Stop.

Stop sending me messages about the previous post.

Let me answer all of those messages at once. Here’s the thing, so pay attention:

1) Screw you, Conservatives. Sit down and shut up. Just shut the hell up. Frankly I’m sick and tired of your bitching about the ACA. You know WHY it’s called Obamacare? Because you, you conservatives, quit, that’s why. It could have been ReaganCare. It could have been RomneyCare. It could have been DubyaCare. Hell, it could have been AMERICAcare. It could have been. But you, you conservatives, crapped out. You took your marbles and went home and left the rest of us to deal with the mess. You could have participated, you could have been right in there - after all, this was a Republican plan to begin with, wasn’t it? Republicans COULD have acted like adults, could have sat down at the table with Democrats and hammered out a great law, one that would have echoed down through time as a moment in history no less significant than the Emancipation Proclamation. Conservatives could have had a big say in the law, could have written themselves into history with greatness and set the example for all to follow. Instead, you told the rest of us to fuck off and you stomped out and slammed the door behind you and you’ve spent the last five years blathering like lunatics about birth certificates and socialism and the supposed invasion of Texas. So now it’s Obamacare and you can just shut the hell up about it.

2) Screw you, Conservatives. Where’s YOUR plan? No. No, don’t change the subject. Don’t look away. Don’t wave your arms and make excuses. Answer the question. Where. Is. Your. Plan? Where is it? You’ve had five goddamned years to come up with a plan. So put it on the table right now. Well? Where is it? But you can’t, can you? You can’t because your only plan is … nothing. The Republican plan is “don’t get sick.” The conservative plan is “Screw you, die, scum.” Your ONLY plan to let 40 million Americans go without healthcare. Without access to a dentist. And you’re too goddamned cowardly to come right out and admit you’re nothing but a selfish son of a bitch who just doesn’t give a shit about anybody else.

What’s that? Oh, I’m wrong am I? Okey Dokey. Put your plan for universal healthcare on the table. Go on. Prove me wrong.

Yeah, that’s what I thought.

3) The ACA, Obamacare, is a big piece of crap. It’s too complicated. Parts of it don’t work or don’t work very well (and parts of it are amazing and even Republicans think they’re great ideas). Whatever it is, it’s the best we have and it sure beats what we had - which was nothing. It could be fixed, hell it could be replaced with something great, and Congress has the power to do that at ANY time. And if Congress will not, then Americans have the power to change Congress - but the vast majority of them won’t. They’d rather bitch and chase after bogeymen hiding under their beds.

Here’s the bottom line: if your only suggestion is to leave 40 million people out in the cold, then you can just kiss my ass.

I think there was a possibility that Roberts would have voted against the ACA, and he might have been able to get Kennedy to go along with him.

However, the chances of that happening were greatly decreased, IMO, by the obvious fact that the Republicans would not have had an easy time dealing with a SCOTUS decision against the ACA in this case.

Roberts is an opportunist and he isn’t going to torch what remains of SCOTUS credibility merely to toss the GOP a live grenade.

re: #57 Dr. Matt

From scotusblog:

No matter how it rules, the Court’s decision in Obergefell v. Hodges will go down as one of the biggest cases in recent memory. There are actually two questions before the Court in the four cases, which hail from Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, and Michigan: whether the Constitution allows states to prohibit same-sex marriage; and whether states can refuse to recognize, or give effect to, the marriages of same-sex couples who were married in another state where same-sex marriage is legal.

In regards to the second question, I’d expect all, or nearly all, the justices to accept that states have to recognize marriages from other states.

This is just the warm-up; a verbal hors d’oeuvers. Just wait - if SSM is affirmed by the Supreme Court either tomorrow or Monday, the screeching is going to be off the scale.

And I fear there may be isolated acts of violence - I hope I’m wrong on that one.

Oh, there will be violence. I guarantee it. Limbaugh, Fox & the rest of the Stochastic Terrorists have ensured it. The only thing to hope for is that it is minor and isolated. I’d not want to be “out” in a big swath of the Bigot Belt when that decision comes down.

Maybe we need to work on pushing a couple concepts into the public realm.

1.) Only the weak and inferior feel the need to keep other groups down, and resist giving a helping hand to those in need.

2.) Only people strongly drawn to “immoral” but victimless behaviors, such as homosexuality, feel a need to discuss it at length or criminalize it.
(“Immoral” is in quotes because it refers to how many consider it, not because I think it is immoral.)

I have little doubt that one of the reasons so many of the RWNJ’s seek to criminalize homosexuality is that they believe it will remove the temptation they feel towards it. After all, they’re “law-abiding citizens”, right? So if it’s a criminal offense, they won’t dare allow themselves to even so much as think about it.

The real reason that the non-white males are running for the GOP nomination is to raise their profile for speaking fees and maybe jostle for a VP selection. The only two that stand a chance on this front however are Fiorina and Rubio. The GOP is going to be desperate to balance out Hillary’s draw with women, so will be looking for a woman to put on the ticket. Rubio nominally fills this roll with Hispanics and is probably a better choice because he helps with swing state Florida, which is the traditional reason for picking a VP candidate in a close election.

The problem is that neither Women nor Hispanics are likely to be swayed much by such thin appeals to identity while the GOP continues to actively oppose and undermine the issues that actually affect their day to day lives and equality.

All this you already know. I’m not saying anything novel here.

The derp is strong with them. Of course so is the hate and all that Weapons Grade Confirmation Bias that they’ve had forever.

IN JUST 6 YEARS OBAMA AND THE DEMOCRATS HAVE:
+ Destroyed our national sovereignty

Oh please elaborate. I don’t see any UN blue helmets around here. There’s no Russian tanks on main street or Chinese subs in the San Francisco bay.

+ Destroyed healthcare
By reducing the number of people without health coverage from 15% to under 10%. Umm OK. My fiancee can actually afford private coverage from the exchange now compared to private coverage a few years ago. Another one of my friends who doesn’t have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out has coverage now. I have the exact same coverage now as I did before, and other than paying less than $20 a month more for it, it’s exactly of same quality.

+ Destroyed the sanctity of marriage
Straight people who treat marriage like it’s “EXTREME DATING!!!” have been doing this for years. Don’t me started on all the arranged bullshit and polygamy that went on in the past either.

+ Turned race relations back 100 years
By admitting that we aren’t at the colorless society yet and that there are some problems that need to be addressed post-haste. OK sure.

+ Quadrupled the number of people on food stamps
The economy was almost destroyed by the previous administration and the actions of Congress during the 2000s. What the fuck did you expect to happen?

+ Restarted the Cold War
20 years of ignoring Russia in favor of half-assed Middle Eastern adventures and not taking steps that needed to be taken in the 90s are to blame. GHWB, Clinton, and even GWB share the blame for this.

+ Turned our Military into a gay bath house
The military strongly disagrees, and way to show your support there assholes.

+ Reverted the middle east back into the middle ages
Again the result of years of bullshit going back to the end of World War 2, and culminating in the clusterfuck that was Iraq War Planning.

+ Turned the IRS and NSA into the KGB
This happen in the 50s. Everyone knew the specifics of what the NSA was doing during the GWB administration too. You conveniently forgot that until Snowden so you could blame it on the Ni-*clang*. And that shit about the IRS, stop with the Fox News already and stop voting Issa into office FFS.

+ Doubled the national debt
See the above statement on food stamps. Same shit.

+ Infested America with Foreign Diseases
WTF? Like a grand total of 4 people had Ebola. There rest of it you can blame anti-vaxxers, many of who are religious nutters on your side, for that.

+ Wasted Billions of taxpayer $ on the Scam of “Global Warming”
Just because you don’t like the solutions suggested or required, is not sufficient basis for it being a scam. No go play with some shiny while the adults talk about real problems.

+ Greatly empowered and supported Islamic radicals
I’m sorry that foreign policy is delicate and super complicated. I’m also sorry that you only listen to maniacs on talk radio and Fox News.

+ Flooded America with illegal Aliens, Muslims and Africans
Every president since Washington has too. Muslims are still less than 1% of the population and who gives a shit anyway. If you fuckers stopped attacking the 1st Amendment it wouldn’t matter what religion any one else was. I’m pretty sure America was “flooded” with Africans against their will way before any of us were born too.

Pretty much. I’m not much tempted to become a lesbian, take illegal (or even most legal) drugs, gamble, or cheat on my husband. Therefore, legislation in these critical areas isn’t a high priority for me personally.

I do have some pretty strong feelings about other people’s rights for the first one, and will agree that there are some really stupid drug laws out there, but for me personally? Not so much.

From “Accuracy” in Media:

Our pro-cross dressing President apparently doesn’t think people have DNA that makes them male or female. But he has just told an interviewer that white people and others have DNA that makes them racist and that American institutions are racist, too. These claims are described by our media as “bold” rather than bizarre racial slurs.

CNN reported that Obama, during an appearance on a comedy show, said “the legacy of slavery, Jim Crow, discrimination” exists in institutions and casts “a long shadow and that’s still part of our DNA that’s passed on.” The host, comedian Marc Maron, has been a guest on MSNBC, the failing left-wing cable channel.

Was Obama being serious? Where is the scientific evidence that racism is passed on to others through their DNA?

But what does this have to do with a President, who opposes conversion therapy for gays, expressing the view that there may be a potential “cure” for racism that is not learned through bad examples but through biology and DNA?

The President was speaking figuratively you goddamned dilltards. This is so fucking obvious we need a new word just to convey how obvious it is. My GOD, every damned day conservatives are setting new world records for willfully obtuse dumbshittery.

I think he really wants to do what’s best for America, and wants to tend towards conservative ideal, but it looks like he doesn’t adhere to ideology to the point of a suicide pact.

Last year, my wife had to have surgery and radiation for cancer. This year, she had to have a hip replacement which, because of prior history of blood clots, required her to also have an IVC filter implanted.

It is almost certain that, without the “community rating” provisions of the Affordable Care Act (the part that says you can’t be denied for pre-existing conditions or lose your insurance because you get sick), health insurance would now be prohibitively expensive for my family, if indeed we could get it at all. It is hard to overstate how relieved we all are that the SCOTUS upheld the ACA today.

So to those people who say “Obamacare is for freeloaders” or that it’s somehow “the death of freedom” or some other right wing claptrap: you are cordially invited to GO FUCK YOURSELF WITH A CACTUS. Asked whether federal military intervention is likely in certain circumstances, large numbers said yes. A majority said military intervention is “very” or “somewhat” likely to arrest political protesters, and 50 percent said it is likely that the feds would send the military to violate citizens’ property rights. Smaller but significant numbers said the military would likely be used to impose martial law (44 percent) and to confiscate firearms from citizens (43 percent).

“You put federal government into it and people’s skepticism and their concern really rises,” said Daron Shaw, co-director of the poll and a professor of government at UT-Austin. He noted that a substantial number of Democrats — 31 percent on the martial law question — believe federal military intervention is possible.

Republicans were more likely than Democrats to say the government might send troops in those situations, but those concerns don’t always obey party lines. Two-fifths of Democrats think the feds would come to break up political protests, for instance, while only 25 percent think the military would be sent to confiscate guns. Among all of the subgroups, Tea Party Republicans were most likely to say the government would use the military inside the United States. The conservatives were more intense about it, but they were hardly alone.

And of course he couldn’t get her any other insurance. He watched his retirement funds, the retirement home he was building and future plans disappear. All while trying to get by just on his income instead of both their incomes.

He had been doing everything he was told he needed to do to be successful and have a good life. Then watched it go down the tubes. That was when he finally started to realize that he had been manipulated and lied to.

Bryan Fischer haz a sad today:

donotlink.com

The judicial tyrants of the Supreme Court, headed by chief oligarch John Roberts, have abandoned the Constitution, reason, and their oath of office by trashing the plain language of ObamaCare to reach an illogical, irrational, and judicially abominable result.

This 6-3 ruling is a juristic catastrophe. The chief justice justified his ruling by saying the words “established by the state” are “ambiguous.” What is remotely ambiguous about the words “established by the state?”

The only way Roberts could reach this conclusion is by forsaking rationality, logic, and the plain meaning of words. Pakistan morgues run out of space as heat wave kills more than 1,000

The worst heat wave to hit Pakistan’s southern city of Karachi for nearly 35 years has killed more than 1,000 people, a charity said on Thursday, as morgues ran out of space and public hospitals struggled to cope.

The heat wave in the city of 20 million people coincided with severe electricity cuts, leaving many without fans, water or light, and the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, when many Muslims do not eat or drink during daylight hours.

Some shops have refused to sell ice or water during the day, citing religious laws that mean they can be fined. It is also illegal to eat or drink in public from dawn to dusk.

In news elsewhere, I just came across this rather disquieting story out of Chillicothe, Ohio.

Chillicothe is no longer just another Rust Belt town. Now it’s the place where women go missing and wash up dead.

In little over a year, at least six women have disappeared from the town of only 21,000. Four of their bodies have been found, almost all of them dumped in creeks or streams flowing away from the town.

The women have similar stories. Most of them were hooked on drugs, and many moonlighted as prostitutes to fund their addictions, police say. Some of them even knew one another.

The similarities between the victims and the crime scenes have Chillicothe terrified that a serial killer is on the loose. Local police, several county sheriffs’ offices and state investigators have banded together to solve the spiraling murder mystery.

Creepy. And serial killers aren’t just a problem in large urban areas. They can operate anywhere - IIRC, there’s quite a few unknown SK’s running around in the US at any given moment. AP summarizes a letter published in Nature today, which I find a bit sloppy as far as explaining what the letter was about, but that is par for the course in complex topics in science:

Weather pattern shift bringing more heat waves

The actual letter is here:

Contribution of changes in atmospheric circulation patterns to extreme temperature trends

Surface weather conditions are closely governed by the large-scale circulation of the Earth’s atmosphere. Recent increases in the occurrence of some extreme weather phenomena1, 2 have led to multiple mechanistic hypotheses linking changes in atmospheric circulation to increasing probability of extreme events3, 4, 5. However, observed evidence of long-term change in atmospheric circulation remains inconclusive6, 7, 8. Here we identify statistically significant trends in the occurrence of atmospheric circulation patterns, which partially explain observed trends in surface temperature extremes over seven mid-latitude regions of the Northern Hemisphere. Using self-organizing map cluster analysis9, 10, 11, 12, we detect robust circulation pattern trends in a subset of these regions during both the satellite observation era (1979-2013) and the recent period of rapid Arctic sea-ice decline (1990-2013). Particularly substantial influences include the contribution of increasing trends in anticyclonic circulations to summer and autumn hot extremes over portions of Eurasia and North America, and the contribution of increasing trends in northerly flow to winter cold extremes over central Asia. Our results indicate that although a substantial portion of the observed change in extreme temperature occurrence has resulted from regional- and global-scale thermodynamic changes, the risk of extreme temperatures over some regions has also been altered by recent changes in the frequency, persistence and maximum duration of regional circulation patterns.

I wonder what will happen over the next decade, as more changes appear.

According to The Independent article, it may be linked:.

Authorities have ruled Sayre’s death a homicide. The grisly discovery helped launch the task force, which now includes more than a dozen members, including the FBI analysts, according to Preston. The task force is investigating the cases of all six women, even those formerly considered suicides. According to media reports, the investigation could also expand to at least three other women who went missing from nearby Portsmouth and Columbus.

A serial killer is a possibility, Preston admitted. He said officials were studying the apparent pattern of the dumping of the bodies along waterways outside the city.

Nature Publishing Group, in their nameplate centerpiece, Nature, runs news items as well as the usual (peer reviewed) scientific papers. But I find these news items to be, well, sometimes lacking in self-awareness. Off hand I want to ascribe this to the whole UK publishing scene, with its tabloiditis, where authors and editors never have to sit back and ask themselves if their story as a whole makes sense, internally and with respect to the larger set of facts about the world, and whether the article succeed in asking and answering questions.

For example, in the latest Nature is a new article covering some of the recent letters/papers:

Severe weather linked more strongly to global warming

Ok, fine headline, but let’s look at some of the content and see where it goes off the rails:

[…]

Diffenbaugh co-authored a paper investigating extreme temperature trends in Nature on 24 June3. It found that the accumulation of heat in the atmosphere can account for much of the increase in extreme high temperatures, as well as an average decrease in cold extremes, across parts of North America, Europe and Asia. But his team’s results suggest that atmospheric circulation has also played a part. The team did not attempt to determine whether these weather changes are caused by to global warming or any other factor.

The Nature analysis confirms some basic theories about how climate change is affecting temperature extremes, “but will do little to settle or alleviate the differences,” says Judah Cohen, an atmospheric scientist at Atmospheric and Environmental Research, a private research firm in Lexington, Massachusetts. In particular, Cohen says the Nature paper does not resolve persistent questions about whether rapid warming that is occurring in the Arctic could affect weather patterns farther afield, perhaps contributing to the kind of winter storms that have pummelled the northeastern United States in recent years.

[…]

The article author, who studied languages and is a journalist and is not a scientist, somehow fails to sit back and expound on the obvious question, namely, how can the assertions:

1) “accumulation of heat in the atmosphere can account for much of the increase in extreme”;

and

2) “…did not attempt to determine whether these weather changes are caused by to global warming…”.

coexist in the same paragraph.

The obvious question to ask is given (1) why was (2) not directly a conclusion.

The answer is, most likely, that Horton and Diffenbaugh did not set out to prove climate change - that it was not a hypothesis that they are testing so they are not going to come to a conclusion about it. It writing up a scientific paper the entire point of the structure of a good conclusion is constrained by the questions asked - this is where science differs from literature and fiction in general, and even from journalism.

I think the Nature article writer (Jeff Tollefson) misses a big opportunity to more clearly lay out the larger process that is going on in the communications in climatology and why this or that particular issue, or hypothesis, or data set, is being researched and about which papers are written. Horton and Diffenbaugh don’t have to ascribe the changes to climate change because they are starting (obviously) with the observations that surface temperatures are increasing.

The AP story (linked above) then goes to quote this line about not ascribing the changing circulation patterns to climate change, and certainly there will be readers who will be tempted to go AHA!! and drivel on, without understanding that the authors’ intent of the research.

Heh, don’t harsh my mellow. About to go out with friends on a blind set up, and I almost think I’m looking hot for a middle aged lady.

“What our study shows is that it has a different composition from the animal. And rather than representing part of its body, it actually represents decay fluid - the contents of its guts - squeezed out as the animal was buried and fossilised,” said Dr Smith.

Happy birthday to the first Latina Justice of the Supreme Court, Sonia Sotomayor.

Great to see that I share a birthday with such a great person. My morning radio station was listing rock stars who have a birthday today and they were all meh.

Last night before I left work I wrote a note on the markerboard outside of my office listing all of the prime numbers up through 59, and then in a different color I wrote ‘61 IS PRIME!’

This morning when I got to work, some clueless grammar nazi had edited the sign to add an ‘and’ before the 61 with an ^ arrow, and changed the word IS to ARE. Missed the joke entirely and wrecked my morning.

Then, every phone call, email message and conversation that I had for the entire day was focused on vault toilets (i.e. concrete shithouses). We locate them all over the state and the fabricator was kind of bent about changes in the specifications which rolled out a couple months ago. Co-workers from all over the state were calling to find out what was going on and, given that I have no control over them at all once they’re out for construction, I didn’t have a fucking clue as to how to answer. The engineer who wrote the spec is on vacation for three weeks. Not one of my more stellar birthdays…

I bet when I hit ‘post it’, I’ll find out there’s a new thread.

Now she’s an adult who makes a living blogging and doing appearances where she shames people who have premarital sex as sluts.

While I’d still rather not have people throw gross gendered insults, I’d say at this point that rather glaring “do as I’m paid to tell you to do, not as I do” component is hard to ignore.

Last year, after the election Lori live tweeted an anti-Obama coup that was occurring entirely in her head. She had passed by a military convoy on the highway or something and extrapolated that in her mind to mean that Obama’s entire administration had been arrested and were being held prisoner by the newly elected Republican majority. She said Barak and Michelle were going to be executed or exiled to Kenya, and urged us liberals to remain calm and accept this new change in government.

Holy crap. *whistles*

It’s OK if she falls on her head because there’s nothing in there anyway.

That’s a weird view into the wingnut mind.

bicycles are dorky and must be mocked, but shit they’re kind of fun

Oh, yaaa! Got my new pickup today. No, not a four wheeled truck, a humbucker pickup for the neck position on my telecaster. Hand wound in Livermore CA by Rose Pickups for only $47, which if you’ve ever priced boutique pickups is silly cheap. Fired up the soldering iron - guess that’s another one of those things like a bicycle that you don’t forget how to do and installed it.

What an a amazing sweet yet crunchy growl to go along with the classic twang of the Telecaster single coil bridge. Then out of phase when together, which I didn’t expect (I’m new to this part of the game) but it’s sounds interesting so I’ll play with it for awhile without any concern, just to learn it.

I also added D’Addario Light Top/Bottom Heavy (10 - 52) Half-round strings. Those have added an additional richness to the bottom three strings especially. Combined with the humbucker, it gives a very satisfactory crunch.

I can tell you that tonight I imagine my neighbors are very happy that I only have a 6 watt tube amp rather than the 20 watt one I was considering! LOL!

Oh, notice the new Woody Guthrie memorial on her as well. I also have one more sticker coming - my current avatar - that will go on the pickguard between the pickups.

As with computers, hacking them together is a good bit of the fun but the proof is in the playing and I’m having a whole lot of fun with that. May actually have to record a little something soon.

I have no idea what most of that means, but I’m glad it makes you happy! ;)

Lori just started hitting the Nitrous.

She’s just mad that she never gets invited to the White House demon orgies.

Damn and she spews prodigiously too. Now she’s screaming about jihadists and “Muslim barbarians” and a “Rothchild” [sic]. I guess that’s a reference to NWO/Bilderberg/Jewish bankers stuff? Weird for someone who’s sporting an Israeli flag. Okay, that’s enough. Preemptively blocked.

Probably got a bad bottle of Cabernet from their Mt. Carmel winery.

If you have an ipad or iphone download Audiocopy. Free and you can then play them from there or upload to Soundcloud, which is also free. Record right to your Apple phone or pad. Very nice. Have fun.

I have a similar app on my Android phone. More a matter of practicing the piece I’m thinking of recording at this point. That and writing a bridge between the two choruses…

In the 19th Century, 99.99% of the “miscegenation” went the other way. Where’s the pearl-clutching about that?

Time for a cleansing.

No kidding. I know you guys don’t bathe often, but for crying out lo—oh wait, were you getting your Internet Tough Guys on about overthrowing the legally-elected government again? Because just a week ago you were pretending to be aghast that a kid went on a shootin’ rampage because of your beloved eliminationist rhetoric, yet have been crapping your britches on and off again for years over the movie Death of a President.

The secret service doesn’t have the manpower to chase down all the anti-government sentiment that you see online. Not even close

How about the National Guard and the US Army, sport? You’ll be lucky to fire two rounds before you’re reduced to a cinder. P.S. Don’t count so heavily on your fellow Internet Tough Guys. You’re known as Yellow Elephants for a reason.

Ever notice, in conservative world, nobody is doing things because they think it’s right? No, it’s “Chicago thug world” and “blackmailing Roberts,” natch, because they have pictures of him doing gay things they describe in leering ways. There are these mysterious groups manipulating everything. Nothing is ever as it seems. I call it a deeply schizoid worldview.
