This memo from the NSA is going to be the straw that broke Trump’s fat ass.
I don’t think all the details have come out about it fully. I believe the real truth was exposed in the closed testimony sessions last week and then this was given to Mueller and then it comes out that Mueller is now investigating Trump for obstruction.
All they had to do is take that memo, add it to what Comey said and also what apparently Coats added and a clear pattern of obstruction was coming clear.
The old “The lady doth protest too much, methinks” from Hamlet routine that belies your actual sincerity is going to cost him and the GOP party.
But since they all prove they have no understanding of Shakespeare they do not know they are going down this very path unaware of their undoing. It has only been in the play since the 1600s!

ESPN - Blimp pilot suffers burns after crash near U.S. Open
ERIN, Wis. — The pilot of a commercial blimp that plunged out of the sky and crashed and burst into flames late Thursday morning about a mile from the U.S. Open at Erin Hills was “alert and conscious” as he was flown by helicopter to the hospital, according to a law enforcement officer on the scene.
Paramedics were seen tending to the injured pilot before they wheeled the man into a waiting helicopter marked “Flight For Life.” Authorities told reporters who arrived at the crash site that no one else was on board but the pilot. Patrick Walsh, CEO of AirSign, an advertising firm, identified the pilot to ESPN as Trevor Thompson. Walsh said the crash was due to “a catastrophic failure” of the skin near the top of the ship that caused led to a depressurizing and loss of shape, and it then caught fire in the air.

I don’t condone any of this, but goddamn; you spend 40-plus years actively fucking people over with your policies, something’s going to snap.
Also, targeting Republicans like this allows them to go full metal “WE’RE the real oppressed people in America!”
Yeah, we really don’t need people letting their repressed rage out right now. It’s going to hurt the progressive cause bigly.
re: #130 Backwoods_Sleuth
Newt Gingrich has been perfectly consistent for the entirety of his loathsome career — a perfectly consistent GOP partisan hack spawned from the sewers where such things are cultured to a semblance of sentience.

Republicans want US politics to descend to the level of warring gangs in the streets.
re: #123 Quoth the raven, Covfefe.
I honestly have to wonder about the intelligence of people when things like this happen. Like, you see on the news all the time where other people pull this shit and then get locked away for serious time. How do you think this is going to do ANYthing other than get you into deep, deep shit?
BernieBros haven’t done quite enough damage yet this week, apparently.
As crazy as the political climate is right now and with the shooting yesterday, major political points can be scored with this story of the suspicious envelopes out of Roswell GA.
Suspicious envelopes sent to a Republican candidate’s house just doesn’t seem like a leftist thing to do…it’s so obviously cliche, like right out of 2001.
???????s Don’t know what to think.
Holy shit on that Seth Abramson thread I mentioned above.

(43) We *also* have evidence Kushner committed what many in the IC call *espionage*: asking to use a Russian SCIF to communicate with Putin.

Perhaps wishful thinking but I am skeptical. Very. And I wouldn’t put it past the GOP to have done themselves. For this purpose.
Skeptical to say the least.

Without a doubt. But they are foolish to think it will only benefit them. It benefits no one.

It does not feel right. I know I hope it is wrong, but again…crazy times.
And I’m not going to blame it on a Bernie supporter.

Um, wouldn’t some sort of ethics rule require Cullen to not represent Pence if any legal proceedings occur?

I must confess, I hope this proves to be a rodent orgy, because it would be terribly embarrassing to be anywhere near on the same side as whoever wrote that drivel. Maybe it will prove to be legit, but it reads like a RWNJ fever-dream of what a LWNJ would say.
Blocked by Donald Trump, but still I persist.

If you thought Trump likely had a meltdown over the initial news, he’ll have a stroke over this. Because it’s a blatant slap in the face.

The US is is a big country, so there may be as many as a dozen leftists remaining who would use ‘bourgeois’ unironically. They are probably all in their high nineties and no longer politically active for that reason.
Meanwhile there are thousands of RWNJs who still think lefties talk like Radio Moscow broadcasts of the 1950s.
None of this is evidence, of course, but it’s easy to see which is the safer bet.

Strange. I just received a call from a funky number saying “Get health insurance that is cheaper than Obamacare and covers all major illnesses and preexisting conditions”
*click*
Dial number back…message: this is an unallocated number.
I guess the scams are a coming…or, those Senators sure did their work.
It’s called spoofing. They make the calls look like they are coming from semi legit, non 1800 numbers so you’ll be more likely to answer them.

Another example of spoofing: here lately, I’ve been getting at least a call every day or two for a CID showing a number on the same local exchange, but it’s fucking telemarketers every time.
That’s making me go back to my longstanding policy to never pick up on a number that’s not already in my contacts; if it is someone not in my contacts and they can’t be bothered to leave a message if I don’t pick up, it must not be that important.

If I don’t recognize the number, it goes to (land line) answering machine or (Cell) voice mail and then the blocked list if no message left. If message left, reverse look up and then the block list.
