A Compilation of Fox News Segments Mainstreaming the White Supremacist “Great Replacement” Theory [VIDEO]

Politics • Views: 21,364

YouTube

While Tucker Carlson has been flirting with white nationalism for years, 2021 was the year he went full-tilt and repeatedly said the quiet part aloud, explicitly referencing the white supremacist “great replacement” conspiracy theory – and earning praise from infamous former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke. And Carlson’s status as the most-watched Fox prime-time star seemingly encouraged his fellow hosts to follow suit; Laura Ingraham warned her viewers that Democrats “will import new voters to offset and eventually replace all you old people.”

Carlson has long pushed white supremacist talking points with full corporate support from Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch. In the process, he has gained praise from white nationalists, while the Anti-Defamation League has repeatedly called for his firing. White nationalism is now a pillar of Fox’s prime-time platform, and the Murdochs are willing to fund and defend their hosts’ hatred.

Stephen Miller – former White House senior policy adviser, chief architect of former President Donald Trump’s Muslim ban, and noted white nationalist – was a habitual guest on Fox News during 2021. An equal opportunity racist, Miller espoused textbook “great replacement” talking points whether the topic at hand was the refugee crisis in Afghanistan or at the U.S. southern border. Miller repeated the lie that migrants coming to the U.S were spreading COVID-19, a common anti-immigrant trope among white nationalists.

By repeatedly launching nativist attacks with warnings of an “invasion of your neighborhood” and migrants “coming to our backyard,” Fox News’ goal here is clear: to scare its audience into buying the fantasy of “white genocide.”

Finding a conservative host for ‘The View’ who is neither Never Trump nor a 1/6 apologist or big lie Trumper is proving difficult for the producers.

Isn’t a female version of Chuck Todd available? Oh wait, that kind of conservative would never appeal to the Republican base.

The hilarity of it all is that they basically want what Meghan evolved into, not what she was when they hired her. When she joined The View, she was a Never-Trumper whose entire appeal to the GQP was “John McCain is my daddy!” The problem that faces them now is that MAGAts are so hostile to any who are seen as insufficiently loyal to the party that taking the job is career suicide.

Never get into a drinking competition with a hamster.

“You just put a bottle of unsweetened Everclear on the cage and they love it,” says Gwen Lupfer, a psychologist at the University of Alaska Anchorage who has studied alcohol consumption in hamsters. They regularly down 18 grams per kilogram of body weight a day, the alcoholic equivalent of a human drinking a liter and a half of 190-proof Everclear.

Just got a response by someone on FB telling me Ivermectin has some anti-viral properties. I responded by saying 100% of the people in ICUs in this country with Covid are unvaccinated, then thought about making a snarky comment about them starting their gofundme early.

That got me to thinking…how much does the average Gofundme for Covid families raise? The answer: $197.

I just took a quick look at Sirota’s twitter. I guess there’s a mixed reaction to his movie, but you’d hardly know it from his feed (of course). He just picked Charles out to be his poster boy.

I wouldn’t not watch because he’s involved, but his response to Charles—basically, ‘stop the bullshit and get with climate change action’—displays his blindness to what made him toxic before and will no doubt contaminate both midterms and 2024 for reasonable candidates who can actually get elected. Does he really think that only Bernie supporters are concerned about the climate?

I would just like a reckoning from him and his cohorts. Heck, even the progressive caucus has found discipline amid disappointment to try to find constructive ways to get as much of BBB passed as possible.

Unfortunately that is not true. While one is several times more likely to end up in the ICU if one is not vaccinated, some percentage of those in the ICU have been vaccinated.

I’ve said it before, but what changed 2016 for me was seeing a potential Presidential candidate, Ted Cruz, address some Trump supporters as he was either leaving or about the enter his bus (can’t remember), and these two guys who had Charlie Manson eyes were giving him shit and Cruz went through all the terrible things Trump has done and what a narcissist he is and how he’ll drag down the country, and the two guys said almost in unison: “I don’t care.” And I think I saw a flicker of recognition in Cruz’s eyes.

ETA: I should have added that the anecdote I usually give is that I went to one of Trump’s earliest rallies in August 2015. But that only gave me a glimpse of the elderly upper middle class folks who were already in the cult at that point.

And the reason that most vaccines seem to make you completely immune and stops all transmission is that when it lands in your system it’s attacked immediately during that time before the infection sticks or it starts replicating.

If the virus lands in sufficiently large quantity, or your immune response is starting to fade, then it wont be able to knock it down completely before it can start replicating.

Why this is rocket science to some people or a big conspiracy is beyond me.

Another reason that people expect so much of the covid vaccine is that almost no-one ever catches those other diseases we’re all vaccinated against. Because near-universal vaccination means there’s hardly any of the pathogens around to infect people.

Here I had been thinking that our Trumpster brother at least has been very serious about the pandemic and measures to protect himself and his wife. After all he was washing everything carefully, wearing masks, and has been vaccinated and boostered. Well it looks as though he’s finally succumbed to the COVID propaganda that inundates him on the media he watches.

My sister chatted with him yesterday and although stores in his area of Texas may recommend masks, he’s abandoned wearing them and was now applying the name Karen to demonize the imaginary woman who would confront him over his lack of mask, and he threatened to attack them if they dare lay a hand on him. I was not on this conversation otherwise I would have pointed out that Karens are vicious anti-maskers who pull masks off others and attack flight attendants when told that they needed to wear them.

Iran Rained Down Ballistic Missiles On A Mockup Of Israel’s Nuclear Reactor

The footage comes from a five-day exercise known as Great Prophet 17, carried out in southern Iran, which came to an end last Friday. The war games were intended as an explicit warning to Israel in light of Tehran’s worries over possible Israeli plans to target Iran’s own nuclear sites. With that in mind, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) carried out the attack on the mockup of Dimona nuclear complex, home to a secretive Israeli nuclear reactor, while official video combined this with a digital mock-up showing an aerial view of the Israeli site.

Hence why the legacy media are so intent on turning everything into a “scandal,” because that daily viewership spike they enjoyed for 4 years has crashed and they have nothing to replace it with.

They had nothing filling most of the airwaves most of the time - it’s all opinion crap with hot takes that are spectacularly wrong and misinformed. It’s even more awful at Fox, where the agitprop and lies are turned to 11ty.

Biden’s just running govt competently all while dealing with a sabotaging GOP and media that magic balance fairy bulkshits the two.

News about the 3-year-old child who “accessed a gun” inside her home and shot herself in the head. Apparently, the gun itself was a Christmas Miracle! (see below, bolded)

State officials are now investigating an accidental shooting that happened on Christmas day in Henderson County.

The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI) is involved in the investigation of a three-year-old girl who got ahold of a handgun and shot herself Saturday around 2:30 p.m. in the Edneyville community near the Dollar Plus store on Chimney Rock Road.

News 13 has confirmed the child’s father is a retired captain from the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office.

Now, the parents of the three-year-old girl are praying for a miracle as she remains under heavy sedation following surgery at Mission Hospital.

“I received an emotional text this morning from Aylee’s mother,” says family friend Denise Hunter in an email to News 13. “They are clinging to all the prayers that can go up for their beautiful little girl.”

A GoFundMe account has been established to help the family with medical expenses. According to the GoFundMe, the little girl, Aylee, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and remains at Mission Hospital in critical condition.

In a post on Sunday, the account said,

Aylee’s parents have shared an update about Aylee this evening, and asking specific prayer. The pressure on Aylee’s brain is very high, and the next 48 hours are very critical. Her doctors are doing everything they can to keep her as stable as possible. From Tim and Anya “We need a miracle for our precious little girl.”

Hunter tells News 13 it wasn’t the family or anyone who lived inside their home that was involved in the accidental shooting. She says the gun didn’t belong to the parents, or anyone who lived in the child’s home. Officials have not released any specific details about what led up to the accidental shooting.

Over the weekend, officials said detectives from the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit were conducting the investigation. No further details are available at this time.

Good on you. I developed tendonitis in my right Achilles in the Navy that just never completely goes away. I do some biking and a stationary bike when I can.

I also don’t think I’m quite built to be a natural running. My feet are kind of flat, but not enough the orthopedist thinks I need any special support. But I cannot come down flat on my feet or roll them quite enough so that I don’t feel like I’m coming down hard on them. So bikes work better for me. But in either case, I have to find the time to do them.

Amonst other roles, he was Dáin II Ironfoot in The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. Also Dr. Montgomery in Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events.

He was a fantastic Ironfoot, but the “making of” movie of Hobbit III was where he really had me rolling on the floor. Diddle-de-dum!

This is why we can’t have nice things. Well, one reason why. I still am kind of in despair over how Hillary has been such a punching bag for so many. She really cannot run for office again, it would be a complete hellscape of awful. She’s smart enough to know that too.The assholes got their wish, that sucks. She wouldn’t have been some horrible mess as President, but when I see the mess Biden has run up against, I can’t even imagine what she would be facing right now. And the garbage we’d be watching on tv and online over everything she does or doesn’t do. Like news from the cafeteria cool kids table. On steroids.

Mile
(from Lat. mille, “a thousand;” Matthew 5:41), a Roman measure of 1,000 paces of 5 feet each. Thus the Roman mile has 1618 yards, being 142 yards shorter than the English mile.

Unfortunately, “popularity” - at least out on the starboard fringes - doesn’t seem to correlate with actual *popularity* - to the nation’s disgrace, we’re going to have to listen to this assclown -on social media, anyway - for the foreseeable future. Just like his old man (an even bigger disgrace).

re: #217 Dangerman

From the Atlantic article indirectly referenced there:

And the former president’s son has a message for the tens of millions of evangelicals who form the energized base of the GOP: the scriptures are essentially a manual for suckers. The teachings of Jesus have “gotten us nothing.” It’s worse than that, really; the ethic of Jesus has gotten in the way of successfully prosecuting the culture wars against the left. If the ethic of Jesus encourages sensibilities that might cause people in politics to act a little less brutally, a bit more civilly, with a touch more grace? Then it needs to go.

…………….

We saw that not just in the enthusiastic and at times impassioned response of the Turning Point USA crowd to Don Jr.’s speech but nearly every day in the words and actions of Republicans in positions of power. Donald Trump and his oldest son have become evangelists of a different kind.

Their approach hasn’t been embraced by Republicans, of course. There are GOP governors and others in the Republican Party who embody a very different ethic, and for the sake of their party and their country, I hope they gain influence.

Yes, there are some Republicans who haven’t embraced the Trump approach but it is incorrect to claim Republicans in general haven’t embraced the Trump approach. They have done so with great enthusiasm.
