They Hate Me - They Really Hate Me

As mainstream media publishes one hagiography after another about anti-war activist Marla Ruzicka, the lefty blogosphere is seething with anger at yours truly (again) because I dared to note that she was a George Soros employee, was published at the World Socialist Web Site, was an admirer of Fidel Castro, and worked with Medea Benjamin’s far-far-far-left Global Exchange: Anti-War Activist Killed By Car Bomb.
These, by the way, are all documented facts. My intent is not to bash Ruzicka, but to point out that mainstream media have gone completely overboard once again, in their praise for a person who may have had good intentions but was associated with some very questionable people and organizations.
If you’re curious, check our Referrers page for links to the latest haters. They seem quite a bit more upset with me than with the suicide bomber who murdered Ruzicka and her Iraqi driver.
In her last piece for USA Today (from World Socialist Web Site to USA Today—a big leap?), Ruzicka cites the discredited “study” from Britain’s Lancet and its ridiculously exaggerated figure of 100,000 civilian deaths in Iraq: Aid worker’s words just a week before she was killed.
