-RetweetStand with Israel Against Haters This Sunday in DC

Thu, Jun 7, 2007 at 8:55:17 am PDT

This Sunday, June 10, 2007, radical leftist groups like United for Peace and Justice and CODEPINK are joining forces with Muslim Brotherhood front group the Muslim American Society and other radical Islamists to hold another disgusting anti-Israel demonstration in Washington DC. Stand With Us is organizing a counter-rally, and I strongly encourage LGF readers in the area to attend: Stand With Israel Rally In Washington, DC: America, Stand with Israel at the Counter-Rally on June 10, 2007.

I think she REALLY IS an alien. I have seen her (on video) naked, and she doesn't look like any other human female I have ever seen...

12 Quella  Thu, Jun 7, 2007 9:07:11am

I would go to this event, but instead I will be away this weekend. I have a friend who will be in attendance.

Now that said, if I went, I might be so overcome with anger towards those Tikkun-ers in particular, it would be an ugly scene.

I hate kapos more than Nazis. There is nothing worse than a self hating Jew who aids and abets those who wish to destroy the Jewish nation.

I wish I could be there. I'd make a sign that said, Mein Kampf! Jews Out of Palestine! and force my way to front and center so the Fifth Column media would have something to film.

I eagerly await the reality-based reporting to appear in the dailyProtocols of the Elders of Koslam.

I'd sleep with Paris Hilton before I slept with (much less married) a goat. Of course, I'd immediately go through a level four decontamination afterwards.

I've never been to a demonstration in my life, but I wish I could be at this one. My daughter is working in D.C. this summer, and I will encourage her to attend.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, bitterly opposed to a planned US missile shield in Europe, told US President George W. Bush on Thursday that Moscow would drop its objections if the radar-based system were installed in Azerbaijan.

Putin told Bush he would not seek to retarget Russian missiles on Europe if the United States agreed to put the system in the central Asian nation of Azerbaijan, a former Soviet republic.

Bush's National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley called it an "interesting proposal."

pat @ #1: Useful Idiots unite with terrorists. Who isn't against that? Except the Democratic Party.

A: Bush's State Dept.

Today, Foggy Bottom justifies full diplomatic relations with rehabilitated terrorists unrepentant hostage extortionists;

United States Hopes To Engage Iran Libya on Political Reform
[Closer U.S.-IranianLibyan ties provide platform for engaging Libyan people]

Washington -– The United States’ improved relations with Iran Libya should not be construed as approval of Ahmadinejad's Colonel Muammar Qaddafi’s regime, but it is in the United States’ interest to engage the Iranian Libyan government, according to the United States’ chief Middle East diplomat.

“My job is not to make friends with authoritarians, it's to pursue what I think are national interests,” David Welch, assistant secretary of state for Near Eastern affairs, told members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee June 6.

Welch said he finds it unlikely that the United States will normalize its relations completely with Iran Libya in the near future given that country’s past sponsorship of terrorism against U.S. citizens. Nevertheless, he said it is important for the United States to establish full diplomatic relations with Iran Libya.

“I believe that it's very important to have the most capable diplomatic representation possible in Tehran Tripoli to discharge our national interests, among which are resolving these terrorism issues of the past,” he said. “But we also have other things that we need to do with the Iranian Libyan government.”

Congressman Dana Rohrabacher expressed concern that Iranians Libyans seeking democratic reforms in their country might take the wrong message from the United States’ engagement with the Ahmadinejad Qaddafi regime.

“The point is there are Iranians Libyans who want to change it, and I would hope that we don't get caught into the trap, which is, in order to be friends of the regime, that we make enemies of the people who want democracy in that country,” he said.

Welch said Iran Libya is not a democracy “by any stretch of the imagination,” but [But, BUT!] that a fully functioning U.S. Embassy in Tehran Tripoli would be a useful platform from which to engage the Iranian Libyan people and advocate political reform.

Truly ironic coming from a guy named Welch.

The haters have over 300 organizations marching, our side has 4. The Jewish community leaders have really let the ball drop on this one. The haters have been planning this for months, the least they could do is plan a super counter rally to counter all this disgusting hate-filled propaganda. I am pretty disappointing and feel we're going to be seriously outnumbered.

This must be for the MSM only, although protests in DC have gotten little coverage over the past few years. Everyone who matters knows most of these things are rent-a-mob type deals with the same people every time - only the signs change. The frequent World Bank meetings barely get any press coverage anymore.

Ironically it will probably get more press if there is a counter protest (however small). If someone disagrees, it must be a topic of interest...

Too bad I probably won't be able to make it Sunday. It would be enlightening to see how strong the anti-semite community is here in DC. There is a large Persian community here, but the majority are secular ex-pats from the revolution in '79.

There will be a STAND WITH ISRAEL RALLY in Toronto.

Saturday, June 9 at 10:30. Meet in front of the Israeli Consulate, 180 Bloor Street West.

This is a counter "Israel=Apartheid" rally scheduled at the same time.

All Torontonian Lizards should come out.

I am SO SO there! Can't wait!

48 POLAR WIND  Thu, Jun 7, 2007 11:47:01am

StandWithUs (SWU) is an amazing organization. It doesn't just talk, it takes action. I commend them.

The fact that the local Jewish Community Counsel (JCC) is not supporting the rally is a shame. JCC's across the country are too often taken over by left leaning weak multi-culturalists who like to go along to get along rather than offending their enemies.

The bulk of the Washington-area community will simply stay away, said Ron Halber, executive director of the Jewish Community Council of Greater Washington. Those opposing the anti-occupation rally are allowing themselves to be defined by it, he suggested.

"Who are they protesting against -- the other protesters?" he wondered.

"We appreciate StandWithUs, and we agree with them 99 percent of the time, but when the media discusses the event," said Halber, "we don't want it to be about dueling protests.

"People in the middle are not suddenly going to support Israel because they see a rally. You don't promote Israel by attacking your attacker all the time."

Thank you StandWithUs. Get your act together Jewish Community Counsel.

Everyone -

Putin's Proposal re-Azerbaijan should have a separate thread.
Personally - I LOVE IT - Azerbaijan for all intents and purposes is Russian(ized) Persia/Iran. And yes I recognize that we are defending the "Rodina/Motherland" of Russia at no expense to the Russian Republic. I'm OK with it.
Question #1 - Can Putin/Russia Deliver on this one?
I don't know. If he can, it gives us a FORWARD BASE in any conflict with Iran, and I mean as or more forward than Iraq.
Question #2 - What does Putin/Russia want for this co-operation? I don't know. If it's worth it, Pay the Price. We just might get Russia back into the anti-idiotarian if not "Western" orbit.

53 RightOfAtilla  Thu, Jun 7, 2007 4:07:44pm

I will be there in spirit. I stand with sister Israel against the Nazi-collaborating throat slitters until my last breath.

54 The Antifada  Thu, Jun 7, 2007 7:12:32pm

Having just returned from a few weeks in Israel, it is safe to say that this Jew-hating rally in DC will have no effect. The Jew-haters (sorry, "peace activists") will show up with thier intimidation tactics, placards, threats, and mommy & daddy lawyers to back them they decide to pick fights with the police or counter demonstrators. Either way, there is no way this crusty group will ever remove or stop Israel. The best way to deal with this loser-fest is to ignore it. It's Sunday in downtown DC. Real people, with real jobs, real families, and real lives will be out enjoying the surrounding DC region.

Now if these Jew-hating protesters had any balls, they'de come over to Israel and then pick a fight, without the world media watching...

55 CloseUSAborders  Thu, Jun 7, 2007 9:39:42pm

Er, um, has anyone pointed out that this Sunday, 10 June, is also the date of the annual DC Gay Pride Festival? Pennsylvania Ave -- i.e., the most direct route from the Capitol to the Ellipse -- will be blocked off from 3rd St to 7th St.

I'm sure the Muslim Brotherhood will get a kick out of the Dykes on Bikes...
