-RetweetABC: Suicide Bomb Teams Sent to US, Europe

Mon, Jun 18, 2007 at 3:31:58 pm PDT

ABC News has a videotape showing the perverted “graduation ceremony” of teams of newly-trained suicide bombers supposedly sent to attack the US and Britain.

Large teams of newly trained suicide bombers are being sent to the United States and Europe, according to evidence contained on a new videotape obtained by the Blotter on ABCNews.com.

Teams assigned to carry out attacks in the United States, Canada, Great Britain and Germany were introduced at an al Qaeda/Taliban training camp graduation ceremony held June 9.

A Pakistani journalist was invited to attend and take pictures as some 300 recruits, including boys as young as 12, were supposedly sent off on their suicide missions.

The tape shows Taliban military commander Mansoor Dadullah, whose brother was killed by the U.S. last month, introducing and congratulating each team as they stood.

“These Americans, Canadians, British and Germans come here to Afghanistan from faraway places,” Dadullah says on the tape. “Why shouldn’t we go after them?”

The leader of the team assigned to attack Great Britain spoke in English.

“So let me say something about why we are going, along with my team, for a suicide attack in Britain,” he said. “Whether my colleagues, companions and Muslim brothers die today or tonight, every drop of our blood will invigorate the Muslim (unintelligible).”

The USA responce to suicide bombings that we will not see, but IMHO would end it real fast is:

For every bomb that kills Americans here, we respond by destroying iSLamic "holy sites". I think we start with the closest mosque to the killings and eventually work our way to mecca.

After all, it is iSLam that claims they are at war with us. This is not a call to kill muslims, but a call to kill iSLam.

Many years ago there was a Chuck Norris movie that involved an "army of terrorists" walking through a suburban neighborhood throwing grenades and sticking bombs on school buses. At the time I thought the idea was laughable (CN movies tend to be kind of silly at times anyway). Now the scenario is more than plausible -- it's already happened and we've had serious threats.

As far as being armed goes, I'm sure it would help, but it's difficult to defend oneself against a suicide bomber given they way they operate.

I give us 6 months before the first splodidope goes off in a mall in DC or NY.

I give 6 minutes after that, the FBI will issue a statement indicating that the attack is not related to terrorism.

I give 6 hours after that before the first mosque on US soil is turned to a smoking pile of rubble. It'll likely be the fault of a helpless immigrant (of questionable status) just doing some work most Americans won't.

Just sayin.'

Been thinking about this one for awhile.

A gunman in the mall is easy. Two rounds center mass, if he doesn't assume he has a vest and go with a head shot. That's the way you train.

Bomber is a lot grayer. It won't be like the movies where the guy whips open a trench coat to show bandoliers of dynamite. It will be another shopper with a big bag, pulling a string with an index finger and just going off.

99 republic  Mon, Jun 18, 2007 4:04:13pm

And CAIR is doing the "domestic" work of the Islamofascist human butchers, after softening America up, to keep Americans from reporting suspiscious Muslim behavior.

This is exactly why the "flying imamas" type lawsuits have been filed, to try and scare Americans into not profiling Muslims, which I will do until dead.

The Islamics believe that by CAIR using lawsuits to keep American's quiet, they can freely start the jihad in America.

CAIR can go to Hell if they think they are going to fly below the radar of supporting jihad, by scaring Americans into not reporting suspiscious activity of Muslims, and any Americans who sympathize with them, can go straight to Hell, also.

This is exactly why CAIR is in the USA, to run a "peaceful" front, for the jihad that is coming to America.

I'm locked and loaded and ready to defend my family, my country, and my fellow countrymen, although I will say that leftists are on there own, I would never help leftist, they are on their own.

The Moro Islamic Liberation Front denies any involvement in the abduction of the Rev. Giancarlo Bossi, the Manila Standard reported Monday.

During the weekend, police received information that the priest and his kidnappers had been spotted in Zamboanga Sibugay, a remote village in Naga, an area on the island of Luzon more than 200 miles south of Manila. A police and military cordon was set up, but a search found no trace of Bossi or his alleged kidnappers.

"Most likely, they were warned by some sympathetic residents. That is why they were able to move but now they appeared to have sought refuge in that mountainous village where we are trying to contain them," said Maj. Gen. Ben Mohammad Dolorfino, head of the National Capital Region Command.

90 storage:

the truth is that these bombers don't even have to actually blow up in American cities to accomplish their goals.

the weapon of terrorism isn't the explosion but the perceived threat. (there is a threat but it is the "do this or we will ___" that is the true strength).

Take Israel for example: Although the vest-bomber actually does kill people, the actual numbers are minimal. The actual threat is very small. The proplem is the victims inability to respond correctly to the problem.

Terrorism works because it exposes and abuses the victims weaknesses, and fear. Israel isn't giving up land and negotiating with the "phakestinians" because they actually believe that they can (before Hamas began getting funded by Iran) push them into the sea, but because they are worn out and tired of fighting. It is no different then that little kid in elementary school we all knew who wouldn't stop just poking you. He wasn't actually causing any damage but the annoyance was enough to get you to walk away, etc.

So here the actual bombings aren't necessary (they are probably in many cases counter productive) to get the U.S. to "give in" in the fear alone.

We aren't losing the war...we are surrendering.

Well, first of all, they will come out and say "there is no evidence this is linked to terrorism" within the first 15 minutes.

Then they will not mention the persons name.

They they will deny any connection to Islam and give the perp a differnt name.

Then it will be played as some kind of "set up" to defame Islam.

Finaly, they will claim it was a gas leak.

So, no. Blowing up a football stadium will pretty much get ignored.

You know. Kinda like blowing up 4 airliners, the Pentagon, the largest buildings in America, and the mass murder of 3,000 people.

Now we are sending money and guns to terrorists who hate us.

So after blowing up Giants Stadium, we might start sending them tanks and F16's.

NEWS FLASH:

BBC accused of institutional 'trendy left-wing bias'

The BBC is out of touch with large swathes of the public and is guity of self-censoring subjects that the corporation finds unpalatable, an official report has claimed.

As part of the report's research the BBC's own controller of editorial policy admitted that people felt that the corporation was guilty of a "bias of omission" by not covering their views.

Authors of the report called on the corporation to be more "open-minded" in the views it reflects and warned against "bias of elimination" which it branded "offensive".

The report noted that the BBC had "come late" to several important stories in recent years, including Euroscepticism and immigration , which as it happens, were "off limits" in terms of a liberal-minded comfort zone".

Research for the 80-page report showed that viewers were "frustrated" by political correctness at the BBC and feel the corporation is dominated by a London-centric bias, reflected in its programmes, presenters and coverage.

Yahoo is hosting two vile terrorist websites. These are not the websites of "terrorist sympathizers", but the official websites of two Iraqi groups. These websites are used to spread propaganda and recruit new blood. They are also used to distribute videos of Americans being killed by their members.

So, if you have the time, please scroll to the bottom of this post and write to Yahoo. The last time the Lizaroid army helped with a post about a Taliban website, the webhost had so many complaints they took the sites offline within 24 hours.

I guess we all just want our lives back, eh? Who took them? Or did we give them away ?

Hmmm. A bit of both. My sister lives her life in quiet little Gurnee a mile from the house she grew up in thinking about nothing that doesn't impact her or her immediate family in the most direct way. That you're on this site shows that you have chosen to take an interest in the wider world. When you do that, you give up a certain degree of secure isolation, but I think you'd agree that the security one feels in isolation from the world is false security.

But we have had something taken away. One theme that runs through this thread is the frustration, anger, and despair people feel when they see our elected officials at all levels -- federal, state, local -- not seeming to take seriously the threats we face. They have allowed themselves to be held hostage to a set of nihilist philosophies -- "multiculturalism" and its various forms, and radical Islam -- working in concert to destroy the most basic foundations of our society. They oppose freedom, individualism, the family, reason, property, and, really, life itself. We are robbed of our "lives" in both the abstract and concrete sense because of the cowardice of our leaders in the face of evil. And those who worship destruction and glorify nonexistence -- nihilists -- are evil.

For the philosophically inclined, sorry if my terminology is sloppy, but I must intervene in the kid's room and make sure everyone is in their beds.

Come to America, heck, you don't even need to become an American citizen, they're giving blanket amnesty to over 30 million illegals soon.

We'd be glad to have another reasonable person here.

Good luck with that.

You are going to take on a beltway sniper type how? Throw your hand gun at him?

You are going to stop a homicide bomber with a handgun how? Shoot him before he blows up?

They don't walk into a room and say "Hi. I am here to blow you up"
Then give you a chance to get your gun out.

they are armed with pepper spray, batons and sometimes tazers. and there are armed response units. but most english do like the idea of an unarmed police force - its kind of the culture here. the friendly "bobby" on the beat. although, after several police deaths, that attitude is changing and folks are coming around to the idea of actually arming the cops.

and an unarmed cop isnt going to be much good when a jihadist with a bomb belt runs into a shopping mall.

A pre-election suicide bomb here in the USA would probably guarantee a landslide Republican victory, and a mandate for that electee to "get tough" on terrorism.

Also, I think your remarks about domestic reprisals against mosques after a suicide attack are way off-base. That didn't happen after the first WTC bombing, it didn't happen after 9-11. Why would a lone bomber provoke that response?

I guess I won't know till put to the test. I hope so. In the meantime I will strengthen myself:

I will enjoy my life. I will revel in being an American. I will listen to music, because it gives my joy. I will watch American Idol because it reinforces the American dream. I will eat my mozzarella and tomato and basil salad with my wine because it satisfies my senses. I will watch my children get a higher education so they can give back to this country in their service occupations. I will drive my big American car and go where I want when I want even though I am an un-accompanied woman. I will say what I like and write what I want and worship in my own way. No one is going to make me feel guilty for living a wonderful life in a wonderful country.

With all that I have, there is a question I wish to ask any Muslim reading this:

Why would I choose your way of life when I have this?

249 Hucbald  Mon, Jun 18, 2007 4:59:43pm

Too many Christians forget that the desciples of Christ were mostly armed. The self defence weapon of that era was a small sword with a blade about 14" long (There's a name for those which I can't recall at the moment). Most men carried them because IT WAS A DANGEROUS WORLD and there were not any "police" forces as we understand them today. This means the right to bear arms at all times is God-given, by the way, and it is not legit for a government to forbid it.

The "turn the other cheek" parable was NOT meant to cover instances where you are threatened with deadly force. There is absolutely nothing wrong with an individual or a society defending themselves or itself from existential threats, therefore there is no moral issue with attacking Islamists who have DECLARED THEMSELVES OUR ENEMIES as well as THEIR INTENTION TO KILL US.

These equations used to be easy to calculate, but almost nobody has a functioning moral compass anymore.

Then there is the "collateral damage" non-issue. Significant collateral damage disuades the non-combatant elements within a society from aiding and abetting the baddies. IOW, if they know their houses will suddenly explode in the night, they won't harbor the enemy.

I just don't think this stuff is particularly had to figure out. At least, it shouldn't be.

I don't share your assertion of a Republican landslide. I do agree that approx 1/2 of us don't share a yellow streak. Having said that...posit a bomber blowing himself up, caught on tape screaming allahu akhbar in a mall near election time. Shortly thereafter, a shadowy Islamic group releases a tape saying more attacks will occur, unless the US accedes to our demands of instituting a separate but equal Sharia law system. The Left will tear this country apart trying to negotiate with them to avoid more violence, while the right will want blood. The resulting polarization WILL affect an election cycle. To think otherwise is, not intellectually honest.

#219 looking closely
Also, I think your remarks about domestic reprisals against mosques after a suicide attack are way off-base. That didn't happen after the first WTC bombing, it didn't happen after 9-11.Why would a lone bomber provoke that response?

Not all visible lightning produces an audible thunderclap. This does not mean that the next lightning strike will not produce an audible thunderclap. Please don't think I advocate such a position, because I do not...yet. I still remain open minded and am willing to settle for some kind of negotiated peaceful co-existence. This however, is being proven to be a less workable solution with every passing day as the ROP strikes again, and again all over the planet.

This is just a long way of saying I don't think it too far fetched that such a domestic reprisal could happen. Apologies if my tinfoil hat needs adjusting.

Purposely worded it vaguely. To get folks thinking. I know a lot lizards carry, those of us who carry better be thinking about it.

If you took the shot and he had a bomb, you'd be a hero.
If you took the shot and he had a book, you'd be a zero.
If you didn't take the shot and he hand a bomb, you'd be dead.
If you didn't take the shot and he hand a book, nothing happened.

I suspect if bombs started going off the definition of "reasonable" might change.

For me I'd have to fall back on use of force guidelines.
Means.
Intent.
Opportunity.

Guy yelling Allah Akbar, with a switch in his hand and a backpack would meet the guidelines.

Pure propaganda and ABC is more then happy to put it in heavy rotation.

If you approach the subject objectively, we will not see homicide bombing here in the US for some time simply because it makes no tactical sense. As a rule, we are a lightly armed society ( in public anyway). In Israel ( a long time ago), the terrorist would run into a coffee shop/pizzeria/day care center, shoot up the joint then scamper away to do it again another day. The Israelis got wise and they all started carrying their Uzi’s and M16’s. Soon, if a Pali drew a gun, he was sleeping with the raisins before he could get off a shot. Enter the splody. Problem is, that once he splodes, he cant splode again.

In the US, I think that they would have a chance to shoot up a lot of places before we got wise.

I don't know about that. My lovely bride came home from the local Japanese market and noted the Hispanic families buying Nori and soba. I think it's dangerous to say it's not possible. The problem is that it's not encouraged by the schools, the government, etc. And as a society we've been so afflicted with (sorry to say it) "white guilt" that we won't insist on it.

Yeah. That's where I got it.

Crazy kids, them guys.

One night, in '71, after training, I remember going back to the barracks, from the PX at Benning School for Boys, where I was going through Basic Jump training.

Passing the water-tower in the Airborne School's cantoment area, I heard voices...

"Eight...Nine...Ten...Okay! My Turn."

Looking around, I looked up and there were the students from the Recon Marine contingent, doing pull-ups from the walk-way around the water tower.

A barrel of monkeys...if you ask me...

How do you combat Islamic suicide bombers;

Since the Islamic bomber is dead you need to do something that will discourage others from taking/following in its footsteps and/or encourage their neighbors to stop others from doing these acts.

Also since you don't normally have an exact location of their base to destroy and it seems force is the only message that is heard in the Islamic world, what to do?

How about a lottery of escalating proportions and diminishing timeframes?

In the case of Israel and Gaza, Israel should place a grid on Gaza the size of which correlates to the blast damage of one of their medium sized bombs, say a 500lb device.

When the first rocket from Gaza hits its arbitrary location in Israel, Israel pulls the first random lottery grid number and gives 24 hours notice for people to get out of blast range. If a second rocket hits draw two numbers and give 12 hours notice, third gets 4 numbers and 6 hours, forth 8 and 3, fifth 16 and 90 minutes, sixth 32 and 45, etc.

For each week that goes by with no attacks back the numbers off one click to encourage the absence of attacks.

Have it all televised with before and after photos, with the advance notice there should be minimal loss of life but it would spur the populace to rein in these people who commit these crimes.

Perhaps.

On the other hand, it could well be another 'indicator' of a hot time this Summer.

It could indicate that the Muslims are getting paranoid about the gradual build-up of US combat power in the region; the Surge, a third Carrier Battle Group deployment, etc.

They're doing the 'monkey dance' to scare US off.

In the meantime (1) the build-up continues, (2) evidence mounts of Iran's complicity in the terrorst attacks in Iraq and Afghanistan, (3) Iran continues it's push for nuclear weapons, (4) Congress is beginning to call for military action to stop item #3, (4) we're suddenly hitting a LOT of Iraqi insurgent strongholds.

All of these are what any Army intell-staff puke would call 'indicators' of something else, something BIGGER, could be about to happen.

I'm curious as to why the Iraqi parliament is going to take two months off in a couple of weeks. Could it be they don't want to be a cluster-target when things get 'interesting'?

It was disgust. He was really disillusioned with Wilhelm II and had left Germany originally for that reason. He first went to Belgium, then England, married an English lady then went to live in Zion, Illinois, a religious utopian community. None of the family ever felt threatened for being German, in part because they were half-English and because of the nature of the community they lived in.

In WWII my mother did have some problems crossing the border from Canada into the US because of her last name (which was still very German-sounding) -- the story was that they were using children to run messages across the border.

The 'prevention' is 'indirect'.

First, in the manner that wannabe snipers will be aware that there are people out there who are quite capable of shooting back.

Secondly, any snipers who do shoot are more likely to be taken out by the surrounding populace. Therefore, they will not 'live to shoot another day'.

Okay I will bite. That is a deterent to the jihadis who want to die for Islam how?

The sniper is going to be taken out by the same populace? If you can find him. How long was the beltway sniper on the loose? And he was not a hard core jihadi.

Once the infidel slaughter started the "moderate" muslims did nothing to stop it. They didn't take up arms or torture their infidel "friends" or acquaintances, but they didn't rescue them either.

I've yet to see a story of the muslim equivalent of the family that housed Anne Frank, nor do I expect to.

The Hebrew tradition only males are listed and those who tarnished the family honor can be dropped, gaps and missing people are no big deal.

In the Bible the genealogies break a number of the "rules" in Matthew 5 women are list, a definite no-no. The point of the genealogy in Matthew is not only to show the Royal Line of Christ, the he was really an heir to the Throne of Israel, but that anyone can be in the Line of Christ (Bear) Christ. The Matthew genealogy has adulterers (David), Prostitutes (Rahab), non-Jews (Ruth).

So using the biblical genealogy as an exact record of family history is not yield exact results. Bishop Usser made this mistake when calculating the age of the earth by counting each generation and the years each lived.

How come the Bible has a well documented genealogy and the Koran has, well, nothing?

The genealogies are key because, like so much else in the Bible, they establish an historical context for events. Scholars have long noted that Judaism and Christianity are unique in this regard. The major festivals and ceremonies are themselves dramatic/symbolic reenactments of major events. The Nicene Creed stresses over and over again the historical context for the life of Jesus (suffered under Pontius Pilate, etc.)

Now one can quibble over dates (the stuff in Genesis 1-10 is of a different character than later material and has to be considered separately) but the point is that consistently the basic narrative structure of both Jewish and Christian scripture conform to other ancient sources.

The Koran is supposed to be different; it makes no claim to historicity. In that regard, it is akin to Gnosticism and Mysticism, movements that tried to, in essence, ban G-d from the realm of history.

For this any many other reasons, Islam is really much more akin to Jewish/early Christian heresy than to anything else.

Philip Schaff has an interesting account of Islam in his History of the Church that's worth thinking about.

I am different than those who brainwash their masses to kill on sight…to slowly hack off a head with a rusty knife…to tear limb from limb 2 innocent reservists…to walk into a crowded location and blow themselves up…

I feel.

I feel that twinge of humanities soul, when I see the idea of mercy.

That is what separates me from the one who wants to cut off my head as easily as he would butter bread…my humanity is alive, and I truly can look differently at the world. He will not, nor will his companions let him see with my kind of eyes…I am not worthy to breath the same oxygen…

The sand around mecca contains lots of copper, so it would turn green if we nuked it?

I'm sure we will never find out...not with this liberal population that insists on peace at all costs. The costs will be high, but I assure you it won't even resemble peace.

The "telephone" analogy is important, but there are studies that suggest the possibility for long-term retention of basic narrative structure, particularly in oral poetry.

The Edda and Heimskringla are certainly great sources for moral teachings (I was teaching the Havamal on 9/11), but both also contain a good deal of genealogical data. The sections on Helgi, Sigurth, and the Volsungs in the Edda match up with some fifth and sixth century Latin chronicles where we do have something like dates; Heimskringla is almost entirely built on geneology -- the origins and progeny of Harald Harfagr (Fair-Hair) and later descent of St. Olaf. And the sources for that work are mostly Skaldic Verse and heroic lays.

P.S. As I understand it, we can thank the [then] governor of California for the detention of the Nisei.

I recall a report that he refused to allow the Army to declare martial law in an area up to 15 miles deep into California from the Pacific Coast.

As a fall-back plan, the Army called for detention of the Nisei, in order to maintain security of national defense assets during WWII.

Satan was created as the highest angel. He was also given free will. He chose to rebel and was cast out.

If that is the case, jcm, then does that mean that there is the potential for rebellion, sin and imperfection to 'come back' in Jesus' Kingdom? If what you are saying is true (that God does create people/beings with a free will that includes rebellion) then the potential exists that the same thing will happen during the Millinium Kingdom...

This is very scary, because I no longer believe we have a goverment that much is interested in our safety anymore. Either they are too busy with their own globalist agenda and chaos here fits into the big plan...or they are completely inept. I'm just not quite sure which it is yet. Either way it's a lose-lose for us.

Agreed, sources can be valid if cross checked with other writings/histories, which some parts of the Bible can be and others cannot be- off the top of my head, the early lineages (pre-written history) and the enslavement and the building the pyramids (as recent archaeology and comparative mineralogy suggest) are two great examples...

Sources containing some useable data should not be used as a sole basis for lineage...

And therein lies my problem with using the Bible as a historical document- too many authors speaking after the fact about subjects they knew only the myths and hearsay about, and not to mention all the Books on the left on cutting room floor over the ages!

Well, if we can agree that Jesus was a historical figure, here's the Muslim version.

Jesus Will Institute Islamic Law

While the Mahdi, as the Caliph (vice-regent) and Imam (leader) of the Muslims is clearly seen as being a superior to Jesus, Jesus is still said to be a leader of the Muslim Community. According to the Islamic traditions, Jesus’ primary purpose will be to oversee the institution and the enforcement of the Islamic Shariah law all over the world.

Ibn Qayyim mentioned in Manar al-munif that the leader… is the Mahdi who will request Jesus to lead the Muslims in prayer. Jesus will remain on the earth, not as a prophet, but as one of the Community (ummah) of Prophet Muhammad. Muslims will follow him as their leader. According to Shalabi, the Mahdi will lead the Muslims in prayer, and Jesus will rule the Muslims according to the Divine Law (Shari’ah). 8

Jesus, the son of Mary will descend and will lead them judging amongst them according to the holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad. 9

Not quite what the Bible teaches, eh? Now, which book are you going to believe, the one with at least as serious attempt to record history or the one that apparently came out of Mohamed's ass?

When I see what is going on in this country, with the moonbat-iness on one hand, and the apathy on the other, I am afraid I am losing faith in the people as well as the politicians. The whole system is being perverted by a balkanized people with their own divergent agenda, none of which benefit the country as a whole. With this much strain on the fabric of our nation, how long can it survive?

#429, ChenZhen. Imagine how confident you would feel about your future in America if you were a Muslim and Islamist suicide bombers started splody doping here, and Al Jazira was running the video tapes of the carnage with the Koranic chants and verses as background music. I guess you have never seen any of those videos. You might find that your failure to assimilate is a liability. On the other hand, if you have assimilated, you may find that your co-religionists have screwed your future even if you are a "good person".

I think you should change that to illegal immigration.

No, should not. You can get the wrong persons legally or illegally.

It is part of the immigration, both legal and illegal
