And that's where I met Rev. Wright and started going to Trinity United Church of Christ and he helped me on another journey and introduced me to someone named Jesus Christ. I know how you feel. I am BLESSED to part of an orthodox Episcopal parish (no, that's not an oxymoron). I pray that we will hold together through the coming storm. If the parish falls to liberal reinterpretation of the Gospels, I'll be out the door.

Try other churches in your community. Corporate worship adds another dimension to a person's life.

The "Rev." Wright is a liberation theologist, which is simply Marxist/Leninist dogma wrapped up in theological terminology. The guy is as racist and bigoted as the Grand Wizard of the KKK. The fact that Obama was a member of this guys church for 20 years speaks volumes about what he thinks about our form of government, constitution, and way of life. It also says alot about what he thinks of white conservatives. He may tolerate white liberals, but maybe not.

At my church today no one decided that they had to jump up and condemn white people, Jews, Romans or America. And my poor Pastor is under the impression Jesus was Jewish. Something he mistakenly picked up reading Luke 2 thru 49. That Luke was a real dummy.

Heh Heh...Again I disagree... My daughter started voting the day she was old enough. She and I have talked about the other people her age, (she's 23 now), and she says that she is hearing that many of her college mates are registering like flies on honey. She states they are so turned off by the Bush administration..i.e. Iraq war for oil, all the leftist slant on the use of torture and etc. etc. etc. that she can't stand to talk to most of her classmates because they are indoctrinated by the liberal ideology espoused by their prof's.

I interviewed someone for a job; he had good experience. But he finally refused the job, because he had received a grant ($50k) to open a minority run business in a nearby city. A bar, on a street of bars.

at my church today i sat out in the sun and drank beer while watching the cats, the birds, and the clouds blowing by.....

at least until the pastor started talking about me not getting anything done again today. i get the same sermon every sunday.

How someone talks is not necessarily a good indicator of his or her fitness to be the President. That is True. However, someone who changes his accent depending on what audience he is in front of is a freaken phony and therefore not qualified to be the President of the United States.

I watched as much of the long video as I could stomach. Juan Williams has Obamamama dead to rights: he is the most cynical man in America. He is no patriot, but then again, one wonders if he believes in anything at all.

I just hope people are smart enough to realize that condemning people for pointing out the facts about what he and his pastor have said as "racists" is fascism pure and simple.

I believe it's at the end of August. I haven't been this excited to see a Democrat convention in my entire like. I was only seven in 1968 so I missed all the fireworks. This one should be just as good.
