Video: CO2 Bubbling Up, Up, Up
This animated graph shows surface measurements of carbon dioxide in the Earth’s atmosphere at various latitudes, within a time period spanning 1979 to 2006, with a map displaying where the data came from. At the end, the graph expands to include ice core measurements back to the 19th century. Hockey stick, anyone?
It’s a pretty effective demonstration of the precipitous increase in human-caused CO2.
(Hat tip: Skeptical Science, where you’ll find more animated videos based on scientific data, showing the CO2 rise all over the world.)
