Wow. You would think the US would make such tunnels with Mexico and Canada, then.

Defensive tunnel? Defending against what? What kind of claptrap is that? Hamas digs tunnels for two purposes - obtaining weapons and equipment (or profiting from the contraband being brought into Gaza), or to attack Israel.

They aren't defensive tunnels. They were designed to breach Israel's security and attack Israel, with the intent of either killing Israelis or kidnapping them to be used as ransom to release Palestinian terrorists from Israeli jails.

Carter is an evil fool

Well, it may make sense from Jimmah's point of view. When Jimmah's on the attack, he's always advacing toward the rear. So, when he sees others advancing in the other direction, he assumes that it must be defensive.

I suggest we send rabbit dropping brain for an inspection tour of the tunnels.
Tell him to test the tunnels by hitting the shoring with a sledgehammer.

Plus, there never was a real truce, and Hamas publicly said they were not extending the fake truce, and increased the rocket attacks.

When he finally goes, Carter will get to meet his good friend Arafat in Hell, and he can make some new friends, too, like Hitler.

Defensive tunnels?
Last time I checked tunnels were for conveying materials or personnel, occasionally they are used for storing supplies... but defending... defending against what?
Israel has never launched an un provoked attack against its neighbors.

My first question... Did an Israeli soldier get kidnapped via a tunnel before?
The next question: Have the tunnels been used to smuggle items that have been used to terrorize Hamas opponents and attack Israeli citizens?

This is truly a sad day for all of us.

53 jaunte  Thu, Jan 8, 2009 8:56:02am

People were dinging down the link, I guess because it's another piece of Palestinian propaganda. But it's worse than that -- it's fake. At least the scenes shot in the hospital are fake. I've got a lengthy comment over there explaining how I know that.

It was one of those years where the nation was sick of scandals (Spiro Agnew, the VP, had resigned because of kickback type stuff) and the "Watergate" mess (which I always considered normal dirty politics), Ford had literally been selected, because we basically ran out of people to fill the Presidency, and everybody either voted for a non-Republican, or didn't give a sh*t.

The hope is that when further hostilities are no longer productive, Israel, Hamas and the United States will accept another cease-fire, at which time the rockets will again stop and an adequate level of humanitarian supplies will be permitted to the surviving Palestinians, with the publicized agreement monitored by the international community. The next possible step: a permanent and comprehensive peace.

Well, Oppenheimer was very far-left, as were most of his friends. Although there was never any actual allegation against Oppenheimer, he got ground up in the postwar security crackdown. Someday I hope to actually read the transcript of his security clearance hearing, which has been moldering on my shelves for years.

He was young, stupid (politically), naive, and also some what sheltered growing up. It is almost understandable how he fell into left wing politics. But he really was never that involved and he was investigated over and over again. Basically they NEVER found anything. Even General Leslie Groves trusted him. He got screwed over big time. Oppenheimer was a PATRIOT.

But the postwar hunkering down against the Soviet Union--and the Rosenberg case--were enough to bring Oppenheimer down. He was enough of an arrogant individual to have made many enemies in the course of building the Bomb, and the antisemitism, in government and out, was much stronger and more open then.

It's really to bad. There were plenty of traitors to go around in the "Manhattan Project" but Opie wasn't one of them. At almost every juncture, he went along with and was in favor of all the necessary security measures. He might have made some enemies ( Teller being one of them- but no one like Teller) but he also was admired by most of those working on the Bomb. The biggest mistake he made was not being fervently in favor of the H Bomb.

I'd go further with your comments on CPR. I took infant, child, and adult CPR courses several times and they repeatedly drilled into us that you have do respiration plus 20-30 compressions (that's changed over the years) 1-2 inches and that if you're doing it right, you're probably going to crack ribs.

The guy giving the compressions isn't even doing it in the right position to maximize the chances for the kid to live. It almost looks like the guy is massaging the kids belly, not his chest. His hand position appears lower than it should be.

213 Ayatollah Ghilmeini  Thu, Jan 8, 2009 9:14:25am

Escalation?

The rockets fired at Northern Israel today got a pretty immediate response from Israeli artillery.

This may just all end here but it could get very big very fast.

Israel's response back to south Lebanon was a question: "want some?"

It sends the message that Israel's response to Hezbollah will be something the leftists and Islamists will readily call disproportionate. Unfortunately to hopes this war will not get bigger is people were injured. I think Israel would be content to just finish Hamas and call it a war. This will get very big, very fast or drop off immediately.

The deciding factors are what Iran really wants right now and what intelligence Israel has as to who did the actual shooting.

Hang on to your hats!

There are those who are tolerant of individuality and have the confidence in their own culture that allows them to feel unthreatened by eccentricity. Those are the people called conservatives. Then there are those who are tolerant of intolerance but who feel threatened by any peculiarity of opinion and who so distrust or despise their own people as to champion the other even if it threatens the community and its values. They are called progressives.

The wires between Iran and Lebanon or between Russia and Iraq or between Turkey and Israel all run through Syria. Israel should respond to a threat from the North with a single massive blow at the Assad regime in Damascus and the Alawite homeland. That and a targeted disruption of Iran’s refined energy importation facilities would cripple the mullah’s plans and might collapse their regime.

Moqtada al-Sadr calls for Iraq revenge attacks over Gaza

Moqtada al-Sadr, the anti-American cleric, called on the Iraqi resistance today to carry out “revenge operations” against US targets in Iraq in protest at the military offensive by Israel on Gaza.

"I ask the Iraqi resistance to engage in revenge operations against the United States, the biggest partner of the Zionist enemy," the Shia cleric, who is believed to be in Iran, said in a statement issued by his office in the holy city of Najaf.

He also urged all countries with Israeli embassies to close down these missions in a show of support for the Palestinian people. And he asked Iraqis to place Palestinian flags on the roofs of all buildings, mosques and churches to demonstrate their support “for the mujahedeen in Gaza".

"Why are your people doing this?" Bullying in the classroom and the situation in Israel

Juliette is 9. She was looking forward to going back to school this week following the winter break, but she's not happy. In fact, although it's only Thursday, she's found the week very hard and doesn't want to go to school tomorrow. You see, she's being bullied - because she's Jewish.

"What sort of people are you?" she's being asked, constantly, at school. "You Jews are terrible, you're all the same. You're murderers. Why are you killing thousands of people in Palestine? Why don't you leave other people alone?"

Juliette's mother, Laura, is at a loss for what to do, especially as the political situation in Israel has become her daughter's sole topic of conversation. She doesn't feel that Juliette is sophisticated enough for a full understanding of Middle Eastern politics, but she is trying to help, especially as her daughter has become obsessed by the daily news. Juliette is slowly realising that not everything her tormentors are saying is actually true, and that they see no difference between Israel and the Jews, but knowing that doesn't help her feel any better. They - particularly the Muslim girls, who have told her about all the rallies they have gone on and are especially vitriolic - seem to think that Juliette has responsibility for what is going on in the Middle East.

Trinity College awards harsh Israel critic
January 8, 2009

DUBLIN (JTA) -- An Irish college awarded one of Israel's harshest critics with its historical society’s gold medal for "outstanding contribution to public discourse."

Middle East pundit Robert Fisk, whose columns are carried by Ireland’s most widely read daily newspaper, the Irish Independent, used his acceptance speech at Trinity College to condemn Israel’s operation in Gaza as “grotesque.” He suggested that the Israeli point of view in the Middle East conflict should be treated with the same respect as the Nazi position after the liberation of the concentration camps following World War II.

Jimmy Carter and his ilk actually believe that weapon smuggling tunnels are defensive in nature. They seem to believe that actively attacking and murdering Jews is a defensive pursuit.

So he's telling the truth by his own warped, evil reality.

I still think Obama is dangerous (although I'm glad he beat the stuffing out of Jerky McCain at this point) but Carter is the most shameful, hateful, destructive president we've ever had. 304 Ayatollah Ghilmeini  Thu, Jan 8, 2009 9:30:42am

Dear Former President Carter,

I really want to thank you for all you are doing for peace. Who knew that killing Jews is the one true path to universal peace, prosperity and happiness. Who knew that Hamas and Hezbollah are defensive organizations and their calls for the annihilation of the last bastion of the Jewish people is defensive in nature. And who would ever thought a disgraced Jew hating loser, much less a former President, could prostitute himself so abjectly at the feet of the same murderous scum who ruined his Presidency. The last bit says more about you, Mr. Carter than it does them.

I remember when Iran was the center of US news. First there were the events leading up to the Shah's fall and then the events that followed. I remember most of all being a young man walking peacefully across campus and a pro-revolution fellow handed me a flyer informing me that Israeli soldiers were committing war crimes in Iran. I realized instantly the leaders of iran's revolution were antisemites, even worse than you and your Klansman father (that's according to Grandma E, she was never wrong about anything ever, just ask her!). Naturally, being the clueless shithead you have always been, you sided with the enemies of America and look where we are now. The very scum who are the only nation to have ever held an Embassy hostage for a year are getting close to the bomb and their terror proxies are blasting Jews with rockets.

Russia invaded Afghanistan because they thought you were a weak punk, so with Iran and Afghanistan so much in the news of late, few remark that you are very much the father of these catastrophes.

And, as your fawning support and efforts to legitimate these terrorists scum shows, you have not gotten any smarter once your miserable self was booted from office. Hamas and Hezbollah show nothing but contempt for and never waiver in their lust for Jewish blood; you are an even bigger embarrassment as an ex-president than you were as a sitting president.

Sincerely,

Ghilmeini

Maybe she can ask these nice girls at her school why black men ,women and children are murdered and raped daily in Darfur by Muslims -which of course, means they are responsible.

In terms of Israel, one of the reasons that Jews soured on Ford was because he had said that there was a need to reconsider the American alliance with Israel. (As always because Israel wasn't doing enough for peace.)

Well, if Poland and the other Iron Curtain countries had felt they *were* being dominated by the S.U., maybe he wouldn't have said that. Mild-mannered, nice-guy, can't-we-all-get-along Republicans suck. The opposite isn't always true (Nixon), but contrast Ford to Reagan.

I just look at the video a few more times. It does look a little like the man's hands may be lower than they should be. But I can't tell for sure.

I've performed chest compressions quite a few times, though never on a child as young as 12. It's true, it's quite a violent process. You would never do it for real on a person who's alive. As you know, when doing it on an adult, you need to get the full weight of your upper body into the compressions. So you lean over the patient (as I believe this man was actually doing), but then you lock your elbows, and basically rock your torso up and down, rather than trying to do the work with your elbows. Even so, it's tiring enough that the person doing the compressions usually asks to be relieved, after maybe ten minutes or so, to get a rest. Especially with frail, elderly patients, you frequently crack many ribs with the first compressions.

You don't need quite as much force on a child. You may be able to use one hand. But you still need to compress the sternum about one third the depth of the chest, which is very far. Here's an instructional video which explains how it's done. There's probably a better one out there somewhere. I don't think the man in the Pallywood video is compressing the child's chest at all.

Does someone know of a way to download the video from CNN? I suspect that, once more people realize what a cheap fake it is, it will ushered quietly into the memory hole.

So let's see, Israel puts up a wall to prevent crazy people from sending low IQs fanatics to bomb video arcades and kill children and politicians condemn Israel.
Hamas digs a tunnel and uses it to kidnap an Israeli soldier and smuggle [Link: www.worldnetdaily.com...] weapons to attack Israeli citizens. Israel destroys the tunnels and the same politicians condemn Israel.

What can Israel do to avoid condemnation?

Answer is, Israel can get feared. If the chattering classes of Europe feared the Jews as much as they feared the Moslems who torch cars and bully and sue and who killed Theo van Gogh or Danny Pearl then they would not condemn. They would not utter a peep if they feared the Jews. Israel should insert teams into Europe to defend Jews against attack and Israel should offer various talking heads photographs of their bathrooms and recording of their conversations with their lovers. Israel once captured patrol boats it had paid for that the French were refusing to deliver, went right in and stole them from the shipyard. Something like that only more spectacular might be called for. The Europeans need to learn that the Jews are tougher and being dhimmis, no worse than dhimmis they are being jackals, won't work.

Amnesty International UK has also accused both sides of using human shields in the conflict.

"Our sources in Gaza report that Israeli soldiers have entered and taken up positions in a number of Palestinian homes, forcing families to stay in a ground floor room while they use the rest of their house as a military base and sniper position," said Malcolm Smart, the director of human rights group's Middle East and North Africa programme.

Hey... England was fighting for her life... the Germans were planning to destroy her and subjugate her people.
Dresden was an unhappy fact that helped to end a war that the British did not want, and one in which they suffered terribly from the Nazis. The nightly bombing raids from across the English channel only stopped after the RAF demonstrated their superiority in air combat against the Luftwafa.
I am as happy with Dresden as I am that Hiroshima and Nagasaki occurred. England was not the aggressor... nor was America... America and England were only exercising their right to self defense. Just as Israel is today.

But that IS the point. England did what was necessay to save their people, but they bitch and condemn the Israelis for doing the same thing!

Most of the Arab states have blamed Hamas, while issuing only tepid boiler plate criticism of Israel. It was Malaysia, after all & not an Arab state, that threatened to take this to a UN general assembly session.

Interesting analysis at Stratfor, (sorry, no link) about the dog that didn't bark:

Hamas’ relations with the Arab states already were souring; its warming relationship with Iran has proved the coup de grace. Mubarak said it best when he recently remarked that the situation in the Gaza Strip “has led to Egypt, in practice, having a border with Iran.” In other words, Hamas has allowed Iranian influence to come far too close for the Arab states’ comfort.

In many ways, the falling-out between Hamas and the Arab regimes is not surprising. The decline of Nasserism in the late 1960s essentially meant the death of Arab nationalism. Even before then, the Arab states put their respective national interests ahead of any devotion to pan-Arab nationalism that would have translated into support for the Palestinian cause. As Islamism gradually came to replace Arab nationalism as a political force throughout the region, the Arab regimes became even more concerned about stability at home, given the very real threat of a religious challenge to their rule. While these states worked to suppress radical Islamist elements that had taken root in their countries, the Arab governments caught wind of Tehran’s attempts to adopt the region’s radical Islamist trend to create a geopolitical space for Iran in the Arab Middle East. As a result, the Arab-Persian struggle became one of the key drivers that has turned the Arab states against Hamas.

For each of these Arab states, Hamas represents a force that could stir the social pot at home — either by creating a backlash against the regimes for their ties to Israel and their perceived failure to aid the Palestinians, or by emboldening democratic Islamist movements in the region that could threaten the stability of both republican regimes and monarchies. With somewhat limited options to contain Iranian expansion in the region, the Arab states ironically are looking to Israel to ensure that Hamas remains boxed in. So, while on the surface it may seem that the entire Arab world is convulsing with anger at Israel’s offensive against Hamas, a closer look reveals that the view from the Arab palace is quite different from the view on the Arab street.

405 A.W.  Thu, Jan 8, 2009 9:56:12am

What is going on with this man? What is wrong with him?

There are four big whoppers in this…

1. “Hamas wanted a comprehensive cease-fire in both the West Bank and Gaza”

2. “We knew that the 1.5 million inhabitants of Gaza were being starved,”

3. “but rocket firing was soon stopped”

4. “And this fragile truce was partially broken on Nov. 4, when Israel launched an attack in Gaza to destroy a defensive tunnel being dug by Hamas inside the wall that encloses Gaza.”

How are they lies? Well:

1. Hamas wants genocide. Read their charter.

2. Carter is pretending that the blockade is solely Israel’s hoping we are all too stupid to read a map and see that Egypt borders gaza, too.

3. the rocket firing never stopped.

4. Orwell is rolling over in his grave. A tunnel designed to facilitate the kidnapping, torture and murder of Israeli soldiers is not “defensive” in any way.

Seriously, is Carter demented and this is the writings of a ghost writer who is actually in the employ of hamas. Is he just surrounded by anti-Israel propagandists? Or is this just how he really thinks?

You know, Jimmy, a long time ago I thought you were an okay guy. Yeah, I didn’t agree with you, but I thought you were an okay guy. Now I know you are just an anti-Semitic loon.

No sane people should aspire to be feared, our world should be one where brotherhood between countries and collective security are cherished ideals.
It is my hope that one day Abraham's children can one day sit at a table and break bread... but until then I say:"Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition Reverend." The state of Israel can never be allowed to die.

No, I find the insinuation that desiring to be feared by those seeking to kill me would make me insane as insulting. I wish to be loved by my friends, admired by associates, respected by strangers and feared by enemies. It is my desire to find common grounds and shared values with strangers but by definition "collective security " is a Wilsonian fraud because it brings the enemies preemptively into the tent and paralyzes real security. Mutual security and alliance security is not collective security. The difference is similar to that between Capitalism and Socialism. The "Children of Abraham" postulation is an Islamic lie designed to lay claim to the Jewish heritage and interpret it preemptively for their benefit. It is as fraudulent as their attempts to get Christians to accept their formulation that Jesus was a Prophet.

If you guys forgot this is the second time in just a few weeks that Carter lamanted that the terrorists lack "defense" against Israel.

TEL AVIV – The Lebanese Hezbollah terrorist organization lacks missiles to "defend" itself from Israeli aircraft, former President Jimmy Carter claimed upon returning from a trip last week to Lebanon.

"The general showed us a graph of the many flights of Israeli planes over all parts of Lebanon, averaging about a dozen each day. Neither Hezbollah nor the Lebanese Armed Forces have any anti-aircraft weapons for defense,"

wrote Carter in a first-person report posted on his Carter Center website.

414 UKPost  Thu, Jan 8, 2009 10:00:18am

A question that needs to be answered by President Carter is what did he envisage would be the final outcome of his Camp David peace accords between Egypt and Israel. Before the capture of Sinai and Gaza by Israel in 1967, Gaza was under the control of Egypt. The peace agreement saw Egypt negotiate the return of Sinai but they chose conveniently not to take back Gaza. At the time of Carter, a Palestinian State was not envisaged – the PLO were viewed, as indicated by King Hussein of Jordan’s action against them in Black September, as a problem. It was only during the time of President Clinton that the idea of a side-by-side state first started to take hold and of course it was the current President Bush who was the first President to actually call for a Palestinian State. So either Carter assumed Gaza would become part of Israel or he expected Gaza to be a means to continue destabilising and weakening Israel. In other words: was his true intention or hope to ultimately see Israel destroyed through a war of attrition? His recent, less guarded, statements suggest that might well have been the case.

And he "temporally" cut off the shipment of Planes ( F16s maybe? ) to Israel. But I actually think whatever plane he held up, was held up in production anyway, so it was mostly symbolic, and the shipments did resume in a timely manner. But that was a bad PR move. And if I am not mistaken Casper Weinberger was also behind that?

I really don't remember the details, I just remember a statement to that effect and that's why Jimmy was so palatable to the Jewish community, IIRC. You may well be correct that the statement was more symbolic than anything, the perception that Ford was hostile to Israel remained.

You've never read Machiavelli, have you? That it is more important to be feared than to be loved is one of his key points in The Prince. You really should read it. It's not very long, or very complicated.

And it is very, very right on target.

Yes. But.....

The Prince assumes a tyrannical state of political power. It never understood or addressed liberal democracy. So while Machiavelli remains very relevant when dealing with tyrannies, its relevance in dealing with modern democratic societies is less valuable.

Hamas and Hezballah would not survive with[out] the State sponsorship of Tehran.

I think its fairer to say that Hizb'Allah would not EXIST without the sponsorhip of Iran.

In contrast, HAMAS would be significantly weaker without the sponsorhip of Iran, but Iran wasn't there pulling strings at its inception. It most likely would not have seized power in Gaza without Iran's help.

Whether or not HAMAS currently could survive as a relevant ideological movement without Iran's help is an interesting question. I think the Palestinians are radicalized enough to the point where it could survive ideologically, though without arms or financial assistance it would be functionally irrelevant.

Unfortunately, since nobody has figured out a practical way to prevent Iran from assisting, at the moment that question is moot.

Please read the entirety of what I said ... and do not cherry pick statements out of context.

Here is the last sentence: but until then I say:"Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition Reverend." The state of Israel can never be allowed to die.

In other words... until everyone respects each other and is willing to abide by internationally recognized standards of decency and respect... we should worship our God and be prepared to use force to defend our interests.

You have made excellent posts before and I know it. I have made lousy posts in the past that deserved criticism. This is not personal. Your post was poorly structured and did not support the argument that I believe you intended to make. What you had to begin with was a blanket criticism of my position that was not supported by argument, that was a poor rhetorical device. It was followed by an exhortation for a moral ideal and then by a recognition of reality. My deconstructing it was not in fairness cherry picking because the logical links between the 3 parts were not made clear in your original argument. It may have worked better if you had reversed the order of your argument. First acknowledging reality and then defending a superior ethic that confidence building measures can build towards so as to avoid the poison of fear. I would disagree with you still but it would probably feel less like a personal challenge.

471 SpiritOf1683  Thu, Jan 8, 2009 10:45:09am

Obviously Carter doesn't think he did enough damage by caving into the Ayatollahs 30 years ago. He is of the opinion that Israel shouldn't exist at all - an idea that is all too quickly gaining ground in the West, and promoted by far too many of our leading academics - who in reality are the biggest frauds on the planet. Thety don't teach. They indoctrinate, and the student who gets the best grades does so not because of how much he knows, but because he writes what the professors want to read. And a thesis on Israel which starts with the words "Israel should not exist", and "the creation of Israel was a mistake" would get an A grade. Orwell had a phrase for these pseudo-intellectuals masquerading as intellectuals: "You must be an intellectual. Only an intellectual could say something so stupid". The West has been eaten away at for the last 40 years by its so-called intellectuals and Israel is first in line to be thrown under the bus. And what would happen if those nutty professors and blockheaded Leftists got their way and Israel ceased to exist? What would become of its nuclear arsenal - especially in the hands of Hamas and Hizbollah? Now that is a question which should concentrate the mind of all Westerners with functioning brains. The ability to carry out 1,000 or more Hiroshimas in The West. To leave 100 or more Western cities at the bottom of a smoking crater. Those who seek Israel's destruction and elimination as a state should really be careful of what they wish for. Because an ex-Israel in the hands of Hamas and Hizbollah would inevitably lead to a massive extermination of Wsterners - the fools alongside the naive or the innocent. And nukes don't distinguish between the sensible and the Leftist blockheads. All are equal before a massive dose of gamma radiation.

I'm not exactly a military strategist, so maybe someone here can explain this to me. Is a "defensive tunnel" even possible? Is it even possible for a tunnel into enemy territory to be used defensively? I mean, I guess a tunnel could be an escape tunnel, and that might be a defensive use. But, I'd hardly imagine you'd want to "escape" to behind enemy lines.

Channeling moonbat, I'd say the "defensive" tunnel is so the poor, oppressed Palestinians could bring in milk and cookies without the evil Israelis impounding it - tunnels to Egypt, not into Israel.

In his defense, kind of, around here if a rabbit is swimming and coming towards a person, there is an outstanding chance of it being a rabid animal. You really don't want to be bit or clawed by this critter and the animal needs to be put down.

For a second point. What in the hell is a "defensive tunnel"? This guy has been getting steady loony toones for decades. wellll, I'm afraid I share a lot of that fear, that Israel "can't win" here. At least, they can't win any kind of conventional way. They can bash things up well enough that it might help, a lot, near term at least. That was sort of the lesson from Lebanon. But really, regarding Gaza, I think they could have done that completely from the air, pretty much the way they did it in Lebanon. Well, perhaps the ground action brings it home better. But in conventional terms, no, they didn't really win in Lebanon, and won't really win in Gaza, either. Better than the nothing they were doing before, and only the brain-dead like Hamas would claim it as a "victory" for their side, but there it is.

The Washington Post is, once again, the mouthpiece for lying terror supporting scum. Unfortunately in this case, this particular piece of scum is a former President of the United States. Carter's description of Hamas' tunnels as "defensive tunnels" ranks right up there with San Antonio Express News columnist Mansour El-Kikhia's description of Hamas' rockets as "firecrackers."

Mr. Carter is correct only in the title of his essay. If Carter hadn't permitted the Shah of Iran to fall during his years in the White House due to his inept diplomacy and if Carter hadn't allowed our embassy to be invaded and our citizens to be held hostage in Tehran for 444 days during his administration then perhaps Iran would not be the world power that it has become today and perhaps the Iranian terror proxies Hamas and Hezbollah would just be a figment of Ayatollah Khomeni's imagination. That man is a "jimmy carter" = shameless, useless, terrorist shill, embarrassment to Americans, idiot who builds bad houses that he gives to people that don't want to work for a living.

Makes me sick....

(Sigh)... Why is it that God always takes the good people early, and leaves the rotten ones to fester upon us like a bad boil. Here's hoping God soon takes this living fossil before he does any more damage.

On the other hand, it is kind of funny watching what Democrat peanut farming does to the human mind. And I thought God didn't have a sense of humour.

In other news, the Pali-wankers are really getting a good b**tf***ing this time round, and Israel has told the UNSC to go piss up a rope.

Nice.

I'm unfortunately confident that many on the left know exactly what he is saying and would agree with the idiotic interpretation...for instance, if a person like Bill can publically, effectively debate and change what the meaning of 'is' is then 'defensive tunnel' sounds as leftist right as acid rain, global warming and seafaring killer rabbits!

You think Carter was a huge POTUS pill to swallow? Next, take a closer look at the new guy soon to grace the Oval Office! His reign will make Jimmy's 4 years look Camelotian! Jimmy was always and still remains lefty loony...this new guy is also lefty loony yet scary, too and with a cheek-licking MSM power base that will only grow larger and more Obama-accomodating. In short, we as a nation are more than likely screwed.

I wonder if you have to be from Chcago to qualify or 'buy' one of the new 600,000 government jobs the O is planning to 'create' once coronation has concluded?

There is only one reason that God allows Jimmy Carter to continue to walk on this earth, that is once he is gone he will be "remembered" for weeks! Seeing him on every channel would truly be hell on earth.

Carter is the poster child for "when good Baptists go bad"!
