Frothing Paulians Link to LGF

Proving once again that there’s nobody crazier on the Internet, a Paulian at The Daily Paul froths like a rabid dog about little old me.

OMG! You really

On April 13th, 2009 BigT says:

didn’t look under that rock over at “Little Green Footballs”, did ya!?

That is the vilest zionist neocon globalist/statist scum-sucking group of war pigs this side of the planet Uranus.

And yes, I was holding back and being kind about them.

LGF is like a nest of radioactive bloodsucking cockroaches!

They are regularly voted one of the “Top 10 ” pro-zionist websites on the internet, and they are a meeting place for neocons to get their daily “talking points” to go out and spread around the web and media.

It’s the kind of site that makes you need to take a shower if you just read the name of it somewhere.

And in summation, it doesn’t get any worse than LGF. Period.

The lowest of the low.

The scum UNDER the bottom of the barrel.

One of the things I was taught in my youth is that when someone hits you with anti-(whatever) accusations is that you don’t apologize for what is true, because no apology is necessary, even if they feel it is an insult.

If (and I’m afraid I’m not quite on up on buzzwords), this man/woman/radioactive cockroach is saying that LGF is pro-Israel & pro-Jewish—no apology.

re: #21 wrenchwench

Here’s a related link to a Paulian who claims they aren’t hijacking the Tea Party movement because it’s their movement already…..
The rEVOLution is ‘hijacking’ Tea Party movement & the 912 Project

And as far as Michelle Malkin, Pajamas Media, Fox News, Jane Hamsher and The New Way Forward they and others are latching on, buying sponsorships and trying to co-opt the message. That is a real enough issue. But none are achieving national control nor will they. Ours is a leaderless - decentralized movement of ideas and values not celebrity.
….
There are Ron Paul campaign veterans participating in Tea Party groups and 9/12 Project groups now and they are reporting great success. Everyday good hearted Americans are showing up at these meetings and rallies looking to save their country from the criminals who are destroying it. They are looking for answers. These folks are ready for a rEVOLution!

HIJACKED? WE ARE THE POLITICAL PIRATES. WE WILL DO THE ‘HIJACKING’ AROUND HERE!

I think I agree. It’s their movement and it was from the beginning.

That’s exactly right. And it needs to be pointed out repeatedly, every day and shouted from the rooftops that it is Democrats who want same day registration; it is Democrats who want Motor Voter registration and then litigate to make sure that asking for proof of citizenship is discriminatory; it is Democrats who fight against any type of voter identification at the polling place; it is Democrats who insist on loose absentee voting rules.

I’m not a neo-con. I’m a conservative republican in the mold of Goldwater and Lincoln. Lincoln, who understood the public contract must remain intact if it is to have any meaning. Men of constrained visions. These people are not constrained, they are not republicans, and they are not conservatives. They are unconstrained radicals who want to break our public contract- the Constitution- in order to form their utopian vision of what they think this country used to be, but their utopia is a fantasy neither based on history or reality.

re: #193 calcajun

And who votes for these things?

Many years back, I had hoped that the internet would be a forum where folks could openly and frankly exchange view and ideas. While that is true in most respects, the mask of anonymity has been used more as a sword than shield. People freely hurl invective from behind their electronic scutums without much fear of any appreciable consequence. If there was a way to hold them up to greater approbation for their comments, then we might be able to inject some restraint and circumspection back into the discourse.

If the anonymity is a scutums, then that would make the invective the pilum hurled and the rants the gladius. Sorry, history buff.

re: #173 LGoPs

It truly is mind-boggling.

I was just searching for a New York Daily News article that was published on 8/21/04. They discovered that 46,000 people, the great majority Democrats, were registered to vote in both New York and Florida. The Daily News called some of the people and tried to interview them. As I recall, most of them lied, and denied that they were registered in two states. Then, when confronted with the fact that the voter lists were actually public, they just hung up on the interviewer.

But there was one guy who admitted that he voted in both states. His explanation was something to the effect of “well, with all the Republicans breaking all the election rules down there, you gotta do everything you can to beat them!”

It’s the Democratic Party concept of fairness.

What makes his taking the seat so obnoxious, however, is the blatant slanting of the vote count, coming as it does on top of the ACORN irregularities in the last election, and the prospect that this criminal organization may be given a role in determining the next census count. For that, Franken’s seating is a major wake-up call and call to arms.

Yup. I’m fine with Franken being a senator from Minnesota if the majority of the people voted for him. He certainly wouldn’t be my least favorite senator. It’s just kind of amazing to see how blatantly the vote counting was rigged this time.

And I really am not even sure how to process the fact that all these people were coming forward and admitting that ACORN registered them to vote 72 times, and yet ACORN is going to be receiving billions of dollars in funding from the party that they helped put in power, and they’re going to be running the next census.

277 Sharmuta  Mon, Apr 13, 2009 6:14:33pm

The enemies of the Constitution are all around us- left, right….

The Constitution is not a living, breathing document. They want the contract to mean whatever they want at any time. These are the words of the unconstrained.

The Constitution is not something to upend in order to re-establish. If the contract is broken- it is worthless and can be broken again at will- this is why President Lincoln fought to preserve it! This paulian view is likewise unconstrained.

To defend the Constitution is to be constrained. Those who seek to warp it to whatever end are not it’s champions.

Lincoln understood that if the public contract (the Constitution) could be broken at will, then it would fail completely. He forced that the contractual obligation be maintained. If it hadn’t been, then it was worthless, meaningless. This is what the paulbots want to do- break the contract to re-establish it. It would have no meaning though, because it’s breakable.

Breach of Contract- there are reasons why there are laws that protect contracts. If one cannot trust a contractual obligation will be met, what is the point in a contract? The paulians seek the worst sort of breach- one that would completely up-end our society. And all so they can “re-establish” a contract that would be meaningless after having broken it. He didn’t get the memo from the msm? Fighting the pirates will make them mad and create more pirates.

Last time I checked, Obama didn’t read those pirates Miranda or give them due process or habeas corpus in US courts before “ordering” the SEALs to kill those pirates. /only in L3 land would this even be an issue, back when Bush was engaging in killing terrorists and capturing them.

Now, with Obama at the helm, these same actions go unquestioned except by the most left of the left fringe who wonder why Obama has strayed.

I heard Lew Lehrman lecture about Lincoln’s political philosophy last week. The title of the lecture was “Lincoln at Peoria”. It was excellent. Lehrman made the point that it was the Confederates who argued that the Constitution was a contract they could dissolve at will.

Lincoln rejected the “contract” idea outright. The Constitution (not to mention the Articles of Confederation) was a document later than the Declaration, and inferior to the Declaration in stating the first principles of the American nation. And at Cooper Union, Lincoln demonstrated that with few exceptions, the Founders thought slavery on a path to eventual extinction.

We don’t need to be taking to the streets to have the GOP get it that we’re pissed about spending. Just call, write, demand the GOP takes back the fiscal sanity position of the 90s, and actually LIVE UP TO IT. They started losing power when they backed away from fiscal responsibility. They cannot win without fisc-cons.

re: #393 Killgore Trout

We are going to have that with or without the Tea Parties. I’d say GOP chances are better if we just forget about this Tea Party thing and move on into real world economic issues.

The tea parties didn’t start with the GOP, and there is plenty of resentment for the exorbitant spending. The GOP can’t capitalize on that because they were not fiscally responsible either. That included Bush, who massively expanded entitlements on his watch without regard for the cost long term, and then the pork/corruption/greed/avarice nexus that sent the GOP packing into minority status on the hope/change express.

I don’t think the situation is hopeless, but the GOP really needs to find its way out of the wilderness with a few simple truths - fiscal responsibility starts now. It means demanding that every spending bill; every action get a full and fair hearing - reading the bills might help - and then reminding everyone that this is the case.

National defense can’t be sacrificed. After all, with trillions spent on pork, why is there no money for continuing the F-22 Raptor program or other national defense programs?

It passed the House, and not the Senate. So instead of taking it to the next election, and having Senate candidates supporting the measure, it was dropped. That was a fatal flaw. One that we can learn from, and try again. It wasn’t the measure’s fault it got dropped, but people in the party. Well- if we’re going to take back this party and bring it back to fiscal sanity, this is the weapon I would use. No, Mandy. It means I’ve been mugged twice in my life. One time, I gave the guy my watch. The second time, I fought back and have the scar from the blade on my arm to prove it. That was 25 years ago and I still look at people approaching me on the street and find it hard not think about how to take out their knee-cap with my foot. Every time I walk at night I make sure I can see who or what is on the street with me. As for my female loved ones, sadly, there is more than one in my extended family who has been assaulted, and not by other family members. I exercise my 2nd Amendment rights and have 200lbs of dogs in my back yard not because it’s fashionable or for any other shallow reason. I do it to keep me and mine from becoming a victim—again.

As I said earlier, the whole point of my inquiry was as to a potential source of danger I hitherto had not fully appreciated. I did not mean to hit a nerve. Sorry if I did.

How does Big T know LGF is so vile? Could it be he ACTUALLY GOES THERE AND READS IT? He is telling others not to go to a web sight he admits going to himself.

This reminds me of when I was a salesperson at a Montgomery Ward store. I got very good at selling their stuff. We were on commission, so the more you sold the more you made. One salesperson was always telling me Montgomery Ward was going out of business and I should look for something else. He was the top seller, and I finally figured out he was trying to get me to quit so he could sell to more customers. From then on, each time he went on one of his rants I took it as a compliment to my selling ability because I was interfering in HIS territory.

Big T’s complaining is some of the best FREE advertising LGF could get. It’s just like Obama saying not to listen to Rush only gave him more listeners. When Rush’s contract comes up again I would like to know how much more money he gets because of all the extra listeners Obama gave him. The more Big T tells others not to go to LGF the more some of them are going to ask themselves, “What is LGF? I think I will look it up on the Internet and find out.” These idiots don’t know how much of a favor they are doing you, but common sense isn’t one of their strong points. They probably can’t even spell it.

Now I’m confused. Didn’t Robert Spencer write that LGF was an anti-Israeli neo-nazi site? I guess you can’t please everybody, Charles.

That Daily Paul is one bastard ugly website.

I’m just reading Space Jesus’ comments on the Daily Paul. He seems to be trying to drive them sane. A futile effort no doubt but my hat goes off to him for the attempt.

Wait. Did he call me radioactive? I’m not radioactive.

(We should conisider it high praise when the Paulites hate us.)

But Wait!

How do I know if I’m a zionist neocon globalist/statist scum-sucking war pig, or a radioactive bloodsucking cockroach?

I mean, the uniforms are the same, the paycheck is the same,. what’s the deal?

I decided to take a peek at the original.

As if to prove just what a Fisking fruitloop this bigot is, he is actually PLEASED that he has been showcased as idiot du jour on the site. He seems to think that it’s some sort of honor!

And yet, he is allowed to vote, & drive cars on public streets.

I shudder!
