Media Matters: The Worst of Pamela Geller
One of the easiest things to do on the Interwebs is to find quotes from right wing “Atlas Shrugs” blogger Pamela Geller illustrating how completely bugeyed nuts she is. She doesn’t hide anything. She waves her freak flag high. And that flag is very freaky indeed.
But for some bizarre reason (a commentary on how far gone the right wing media and blogosphere are), Geller actually gets interviewed as some kind of “expert” by network media, who don’t seem to care at all about her in-your-face bigotry, associations with extremist groups, advocation of Birther conspiracy theories, support for white supremacists, etc., etc.
Media Matters has compiled a 3,000-word post with dozens of examples of Geller’s “shrieking harpy” rants, but they’re only beginning to scratch the surface of the crazy: Memo to media: Pamela Geller does not belong on national television.
I titled this “The Worst of Pamela Geller,” but the truth is that Media Matters missed a lot of repulsive and insane stuff; their piece could have been twice as long without running out of material. For more of the shrieking harpy’s exploits: LGF search: “Pamela Geller”.
