Trump Surrogate Gen. Flynn Retweets Blatant Antisemite, Then Says It Was a “Mistake”
So today, this happened.
Trump surrogate Gen. Michael Flynn, who was at one point reportedly on the short list to be Donald Trump’s running mate, retweeted an overt antisemite ranting about Jews.

When people started reacting to this disgusting tweet, he deleted it, of course, and is now claiming it was just an innocent “mistake.” He says he meant to retweet a CNN article.
All, this is what was meant to be retweeted…the earlier retweet was a mistake. My sincerest apologies. https://t.co/0s1OqEC3gr

The person he retweeted “by mistake” has a timeline absolutely packed with racism and antisemitism. How do you accidentally retweet someone like this? And even if you accept his excuse, why was Flynn reading this person’s antisemitic tweet in the first place?
There sure do seem to be a lot of these sorts of “mistakes” coming from Trump, his sons, and everyone else associated with his campaign.
Taking a look through the list of people Gen. Flynn is following on Twitter reveals numerous “alt-right” and “white genocide” extremists (for example). And Flynn is also following rabid anti-Muslim hate group leader Pamela Geller.
