This isn’t Nazi-curious, this is full blown support of Hitler’s brand of fascism. Her only issue was Hitler’s invasion of other countries. She stated that she was perfectly fine with what he and the Nazi Party were doing within Germany’s borders - and in fact attacked “Globalism” - which is what the Third Reich labeled as “The Jewish Question”.

True. Condolence messages ought to be formulaic: he should have left off the bit after “…if people understand politics…”. I’m guessing he meant to have it read as a compliment to the late Rep. Dingell, but - as usual with Trump - it just comes across as awkward and dumb. Which is OK for tweets directed at his awkward-and-dumb political fans; less so to a bereaved family.

Daily Kos commissioned a poll in VA. Here are the results:
Today, Daily Kos announced key findings from a statewide survey of Virginians commissioned through Civiqs. The poll of 868 registered voters was conducted online from Feb. 5-8 and reveals a strong preference that Gov. Ralph Northam resign (60 percent)—including among Democrats (58 percent) and independents (52 percent). An even stronger 64 percent of black voters think Northam should resign, and 56 percent of respondents who voted for him in 2017 now say he needs to go. Additionally, even in light of the controversies surrounding the Democratic governor, lieutenant governor, and attorney general, Virginians still favor Democratic candidates (46 percent) to Republicans (38 percent) in this fall’s legislative elections.
868 give a MOE of +-10, IIRC, but that’ still pretty close for him.

Is it sexist/wrong of me to say the only reason I’m surprised by the quoted portion under that headline is that the accused is female instead of male?
New Evidence of Wrongdoing by Trump Inaugural
“A spokesman confirmed that the nonprofit 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee paid the Trump International Hotel a rate of $175,000 per day for event space — in spite of internal objections at the time that the rate was far too high. If the committee is deemed by auditors or prosecutors to have paid an above-market rate, that could violate tax laws prohibiting self-dealing, according to experts.”
“Tax law prohibits nonprofits from paying inflated prices to entities that are owned by people who also control or influence the nonprofit’s activities.”

Reset the clock. School shooting in Baltimore. There was a school safety officer present. In fact, there were three police officers, and none of them pulled a gun when they apprehended the shooter.
But, he said, the shooting fuels his argument that all school police officers in Baltimore should be allowed to carry their service weapons while on the job.
Last month, the Baltimore school board unanimously voted to oppose a measure that would have allowed school police officers to carry weapons during the day. Under current law, city schools police officers are allowed to carry their guns while patrolling the exterior of school buildings before and after school hours. But they are required to store their weapons in a secure location during the day.
“We predicted that this would happen, that an outsider would come into a school and produce a handgun and shoot a staff member or student,” Boatwright said. “I wonder how that 10-0 vote feels now?”
On Friday, Douglass’ assigned police officer was unarmed as usual, Boatwright said. But the officer happened to be joined by two other police — his area supervisors — who were carrying their weapons and attending a conference.
“They heard the gun shots and the three of them ran to the location and physically fought the suspect in order to get the gun from him and take him into custody,” Boatwright said. “It was just by chance, thankfully, that these supervisors were there. If they weren’t, there would have been no good guy with the tools available to stop the threat.”
District spokeswoman Edie House-Foster said no officer pulled out his firearm during the encounter.

He’s physically lazy, he’s intellectually lazy yet they insult us repeatedly by claiming no one’s worked harder than he is. That’s a load of shit. And that is part of why I hate Trump and his handlers so much. Everything has to be the best ever with him.

I always say I’m 6 even too but I’m 5’11.5 probably heh. But it’s stuff like Dr. Jackson saying he has “amazing genes.” I mean it’s like Trump gets a look at his medical report and gets to edit it. It can’t even be stuff like “President Trump is healthy for a man his age.” It has to be the same hyperbolic bullshit that Trump himself will say.
I’m still waiting for a Trump physical to leak after Trump has put in his edits and before the worst of these edits are taken out by his minders:

As easy as it is to just think she’s an idiot and blame it on education, one can’t do that. Because Candece and I are close to the same age. And we do learn about the unrest of Weimar Germany that Hitler rose to power in. We do learn about Kristllanacht. We do learn about the many German Jews including the family of Anne Frank that had to flee. Sad to say though, this opinion of hers isn’t unique. But someone should seriously troll her and ask her what the problem with Venezuela is. Maduro isn’t expanding into other countries and the Soviet Union under Stalin didn’t get expansionist until the invasion of Finland and the Baltic States.

That brings back memories. This was a long ago favorite of mine…seemingly in another life…when I was an every other day runner. Very relaxing with a little chianti. Then one day I had no butter. Desperate, I just covered the bottom of a small fry pan with olive oil and on a low fire added about 3 or 4 toes of garlic (thinly sliced as in Goodfellas) and carefully warmed until the garlic was just slightly toasted. Pour over pasta, mix well, add Parmesan. Truly enjoyable.
