-RetweetMother Moonbat Channels Son

Fri, Aug 26, 2005 at 8:36:43 am PDT

In her latest interview, Cindy Sheehan says her dead son is up in heaven, calling George Bush an idiot. (Hat tip: LGF readers.)

So this is the boy who they say I’m dishonoring by what I do and I know when I get up with Casey, like he went there first before me. When I get up, he’s gonna say, “Good job Mom.” (applause) He’s not going to say, he’s not going to say, “Why’d you make me spin in my grave,” you know. And I can just hear him saying “George Bush you are really an idiot. You didn’t know what you were doing when you killed me. You didn’t know what you were getting into.” And I’m sure Casey’s up there with Ken and all the others and they’re just going, “Wow, did these guys have moms? They didn’t know that this was going to happen when they killed us?”

She has now officially crossed over into cloud cuckoo land.

Cindy hasn't crossed into cuckoo land, they wouldn't admit her and she had to go to insane-ranting-lunatic land.

She's been "reading his mind" since he was born.

Cindy also reflected on the days immediately after Casey's birth, noting, "I looked in his eyes and it looked like he could tell what I was thinking. That's very disarming when you have like a week-old baby looking at you, and you know he knows what you're thinking.

In this case, she read his mind that he was reading her mind.

She has now officially crossed over into cloud cuckoo land.

Sorry Charles -- you're wrong -- she was there long long ago.

In spite of her glorified treatment in the liberal media, the tide of public opinion is turning against Cindy Sheehan. Her words and actions simply don't stand up to objective scrutiny. She's a veritable supermarket of rants, cliches and conspiracy theories about President Bush and the United States of America.

She opposed U.S. action against the Taliban in Afghanistan. She wants Israel out of Palestine. Because her son was killed in 2004 ("murdered" by George W. Bush, as she puts it), she's refused to pay her income taxes. She's severed relations with her in-laws as punishment for their voting for Bush in 2004. She believes the "mainstream media" (The New York Times, The Washington Post, Time Newsweek, The Associated Press, ABC, CBS, NBC?) are "a propaganda tool for the government," and that were it not for left-wing bloggers on the Internet, "we would already be a fascist state."

She wants the president to be impeached, tried for war crimes and sent to jail. She brands the U.S. government a "morally repugnant system" and declares that "this country is not worth dying for."

Last April, she spoke at a San Francisco State University rally supporting Lynne Stewart, the radical left-wing lawyer who was convicted in 2003 of complicity in a terrorist conspiracy, passing information from her client in jail to his agents on the outside. Stewart's client was Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman (the "blind sheikh"), an Egyptian terrorist with links to al-Qaida, who was given a life sentence in 1995 for his role in a plot to launch a "Day of Terror" in New York City, to include blowing up the U.N. building, the George Washington Bridge, the Holland Tunnel and other landmarks.

At the Stewart rally, Sheehan asserted that Bush and "his band of neo-cons" deliberately allowed the terrorist attacks of 9/11 to happen so that it would serve as "their Pearl Harbor to get their neo-con agenda through." She went on to compare Stewart to Atticus Finch, the courageous lawyer in To Kill A Mockingbird. Finch, you'll recall, defended a black man who was falsely accused of raping a white woman in a segregationist Southern town. What a ludicrous comparison! Does Sheehan believe that Rahman and Stewart were unjustly convicted? And is she so blind that she can't see the connection between Rahman and the terrorists in Iraq who murdered her son?

Sheehan has also echoed the argument of others on the left that if George W. Bush truly believes in this war, he should prove it by sending his daughters to fight in Iraq. (Instructively, this comes from a woman who tried, unsuccessfully, to persuade her son to let her take him to Canada so that he could desert the U.S. Army.)

Jesus jumped-up Christ on a skateboard:

But Casey was such a gentle kind loving person. He never even got in one fist fight his whole life. Nobody even hated him enough to punch him let alone kill him, and that’s what George Bush did. He put our kids in another person’s country and Casey was killed by insurgents. He wasn’t killed by terrorists. He was killed by Shiite militia who wanted him out of the country, when Casey was told he was going to be welcomed with chocolate and flowers as a liberator. Well, the people of Iraq saw it differently. They saw him as an occupier.

She isn't just pissing on her son's grave, she's shitting on it as well.

Talking to some of my Lefty friends last night..

They really think that they've finally got Bush and the Republicans on the run with their 'Mother Sheehan'. They were positivly giddy. They think that she is beyond critism because of her greif and they believe truly that the country is now on their side. Afterall, everyone they know (except for me) hates George Bush.

My sister, who is one of the moonbats out there in Texas, says that the plan now is to get an ever growing caravan to follow the president around where ever he goes, until this war is ended...and I presume until there is peace on Earth.

Karl Rove, you brilliant bastard, for inventing Cindy Sheehan.

Let's check Mother Moonbat's track record:

1. Accused U.S. Troops of murdering Iraqi civilians* — Check
2. Called enemy terrorists who murdered her son “freedom fighters” — Check
3. Stated that America was “morally repugnant” and “not worth dying for” — Check
4. Said that the war was for Israel amd the U.S. Government was controlled by Israel — Check
5. Called Bush a Nazi (Funny how the Israeli-controlled US Government put a Nazi in charge — Check
6. Conveyed the impression that even though it was her son who died, it was all about her — Check
7. Implied that 9-11 was the work of the Bush Admin and not al Qaeda — Check
8. Got the media and the anti-war left to defend her deranged, America-bashing, anti-semitic rantings — Check
9. Completed the transition to stark-raving nuts by joining the Psychic Friends Network -- Check

And my favorite...

10. Got David Duke and the Nazi Racists of StormFront to Rally to the anti-war cause

Karl Rove, you genius, Cindy Sheehan has done even more to discredit the president's opposition than Michael Moore. The 2006 IOTY is in the bag... for Cindy.

* Also, when asked if her son had murdered Iraqi civilians replied, "Well, he had only been in Iraq for five days when he was killed..."

42 Titus Quinctius Cincinnatus  Fri, Aug 26, 2005 6:55:58am

I think she misunderstood. What Casey was really saying was,

"President Bush, I apologise for my mom being such an idiot."

43 Ann  Fri, Aug 26, 2005 6:56:01am
You know seriously this kid was just, just an amazing person and we were so shocked when he joined the Army.
I mean, that would have been the last thing we would have expected from Casey, but also the first thing because he always wanted to help. He always wanted to serve. He thought he was giving something back to his country and community, also having been lied to by his recruiter. So, then for my boy to be killed in a war -- I don’t know if you moms did the same thing, but when I would nurse him I would promise him I would never let him go to war, you know, and I broke that promise to him.

In other words, she already fantasizing about going to heaven. But since she's talking to moonbats, most of whom are anti-religious, she uses vague terminology, like "get up." "Get up" where, Cindy?

She's basically saying that she's going to Heaven, and George Bush is going to Hell (for being a murderer). Which is not only childish, it's arrogant.

I posted this on a previous thread, some time ago, but it bears reiteration. Nothing more need be said about this raging bitch. Should be fun, however, to watch this circus this weekend as Al Sharpton, the neo-nazis, Cindi and the Woodstock Notion (that’s not a typo) converge, and are confronted by Patriotic Americans who support our military, and administration. We know the dinosaur media won’t honestly cover it, but, as always, the Truth will out. Should be a hoot!

Previous Cindi Sheehan post:

Cindy Sheehan is nothing but a run of the mill, foaming at the mouth leftist/democrat/Bush hating dingbat. The only thing that distinguishes her from the rest of her ilk is that she has a son who fell in combat in the service of our country.
She has dragged her son’s shattered corpse out of his grave and shamelessly waved it about, holding it as a shield against rebuke, and criticism..
“She’s in deep pain”, we say, “They’re using her”, “Poor woman, she is, after all a grieving mother.”
She and her supporters rely on our innate decency, and reluctance to believe that anyone could be as calculating and cold blooded evil as she is.
She deserves to be treated with absolute contempt. She is a ghoul, feeding on the corpse of her own son.
Damn her soul.
She is the most horrific, and vile example of motherhood since Medea

59 Otho Laurence  Fri, Aug 26, 2005 7:18:02am

It's outrageous that crosses are being setup by moonbats whose attitude towards Christianity is that of mouth-foaming hatred. Anyone who read DU post-election got plenty of that.

Ok, now I'm officially sick of this lady. How long has she been "grieving" for her son IN FRONT OF THE ENTIRE NATION!

She has been seeking out every camera. I used to think it was just the MSM following her, but now, I am convinced, she actually enjoys the spotlight.

She could end this fiasco and go home with her family. But she continues to USE her son's death as a politcal football to kick around.

I know this sounds harsh, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt...tried to give her time to mourn however she wanted to. But this is bordering on an obsessional hatred for the President, and she is using her son to try to hurt him politically.

Makes me sick...

And I can just hear him saying “George Bush you are really an idiot. You didn’t know what you were doing when you killed me. You didn’t know what you were getting into.”

Which explains why Casey enlisted in the military in the first, why Cindy had to beg him to let her drive him to Canada, and then threaten to run him over with the car when that didn't work out, and why Casey re-enlisted and volunteered for the rescue mission in which he died.

The more Cindy opens her mouth, the better.

I suspect that the former Mrs. Sheehan did not have a positive relationship with her son. Her behavior smacks of guilt and projection...and dare I say it, resentment toward her son's patriotism. I believe she is really acting out of personal animus, and taking advantage of a situation so that she can publicly shit on Casey Sheehan's grave.

Sum that up...she is an America hating traitor bitch to the core.

Maybe Cindy will freak out completely when the other media whores show up (Sharpton, etc.) and they start hogging the cameras.

98 prince of leaves  Fri, Aug 26, 2005 8:01:33am

What strikes me about her odious rants (now that I'm past the outrage) is how inarticulate she is.

I don't honestly know which is worse: her dull and simplistic writing in posts on Michael Moore's site, transcripts of her rambling and incoherent speeches, or actually hearing her speak those incoherencies with the rising intonation and vapid tone typically associated with thirteen-year-old valley girls and not forty-something mothers of four. The woman cannot string together a properly-structured sentence to save her life, and even when she is given a prepared text to read (as in the currently-airing "issue ad"), her vocal mannerisms are so grating they distract from the message and so stupid-sounding they undermine whatever credibility she might have had left.

I find this interesting because the same people who unquestioningly support Cindy Sheehan have for five years now been throwing out the same superficial indicators of apparent stupidity as criticisms of the intelligence of President Bush. He makes the occasional slip of the tongue or goofy misstatement, is a lackluster speech deliverer, and mispronounces words like "nookyaler", and that is held up as incontrovertable evidence of his single-digit IQ (while all evidence to the contrary is ignored or belittled).

But when Cindy Sheehan blathers pointlessly in front of the camera or on the radio, produces page after page of poorly-written statements, speaks like she's a complete airhead, and demonstrates time and again her complete ignorance of the topics she is pontificating on, she is held up by these same Bush critics as a hero whose moral authority can't be questioned and whose "yammering gibberish to power" cannot be debated lest such challenges stifle her free speech.

That wouldn't be hypocrisy at work there, would it?

She has in the past alluded to the fight she had with Casey when he reinlisted. He told her that he was an adult and his loyalties lay with his unit now. She threatned to run him over with the car if he tried to leave. I guarantee she was screaming, frothing mess and ran him off with her hate for what he had chosen to dedicate himself to. Now she is using him in a way she knows would cause him terrible pain, in part to punish him and massage her unmitigated hate she has for this country. She is a very mentally sick person.

But in contrast to the hundreds of supporters who turned out for earlier events at the campsite, only a few dozen were on hand on Thursday to witness an emotional Sheehan -- in a made-for-television ceremony -- place her son's combat boots next to a small cross at a symbolic gravesite for America's war dead.

Cindy Sheehan has:

- endured the loss of a son in a traumatic event;

- been given a political framework (by cynical manipulators) to understand her loss in terms of malfeasance and evil on the part of the Government;

- alienated herself from her remaining family;

- and become a hyper-publicized tool of activist groups and the media.

Check out this web site and see if it doesn't ring some alarm bells about Cindy Sheehan's hypervictimization:

Interesting theory -- she is talking down to Bush, et al, as one might reprimand a small child. The mannerisms that annoy me are generic to her speech, regardless of context.

"she's a goul feeding on her own dead son's corpse."

Can we expand that metaphor to the Democratic Party political strategy?

The Death Party.

Everything they've done over the past six years especially is to use the dead to try to further their power. They run dead candidates, use wakes and funerals for political rallies, they push abortion and euthanesia. Dead voters voting, now clarvoyants channeling dead soldiers.

Environmentally, they say we have to learn to accept a percentage of dead children as the price to support wildlife (what else is going to happen when the new grizzly in town strolls through your backyard swingset?)

Militarily, they promote death for our soldiers - they want "fair" fights mano-a-mano instead of letting our military fight cleverly to win , they sit on needed funding for equipment and improvements, they feed info to the enemy propaganda machine...
Health care, they want people to wait forever to get treated, tell people you don't deserve treatment as much as the next person so step aside...
which brings us back to wasn't it Hillary who was channeling Eleanor at the White House? Al Gore declaring he knew the intentions of voters in Florida, John Edwards channelling the babies...
Cindy Sheehan seems to be solid middle of the road Democrat, not a fringe.

144 prince of leaves  Fri, Aug 26, 2005 9:01:14am

I haven't seen anyone else ask this question elsewhere, but I think it's time:

Has Cindy Sheehan jumped the shark?

I would say yes, that she jumped it when she left Crawford to visit her mother in California. It killed whatever "momentum" she had, and took her own story out of the sympathetic media long enough for contrary opinions to emerge and gain strength. Now, like a sitcom past its prime, she'll have to do and say ever more outrageous things to regain her former audience share.

I expect Ted McGinley to show up in the Peace Ditch any time now (though Joan Baez' recent appearance might suffice).

145 PrincessGal  Fri, Aug 26, 2005 9:01:38am

More from Al-Reuters: "Gold Star Families for Peace, a group Sheehan co-founded, announced that a television ad -- featuring Sheehan asking the president "How many American lives must be lost to justify this war?" -- would start airing on cable television, at an initial cost of $67,000."

Oh goodie, now she is in commercials :(

Here's my take:
Sheehan in 1864 would have ranted: "How many more American lives must be lost to justify this waaar? My son went to waaar to defend Charlottesville, Virginia, so just where does his commanders get off sending him to Gettysburg, PA or Chancellorsville? And that Battle of Bull Run thing twice? There were no stockpiles of cannon balls in Gettysburg! There were no cannon factories in Bull Run! Illegal waaar! We were duped, duped I say as Mistress of the Universe."

Michael Reagan discusses the source of Cindy's peculiar manifestation of Bush Derangement Syndrome;

Who Does Cindy Sheehan Hate?

Sigmund Freud had a concept he called “projection, which has been defined as a defense where the ego deals with unacceptable impulses and/or terrifying anxieties by attributing them to someone in the external world.

In many ways I think that explains the behavior of the media’s current patron saint, Cindy Sheehan, whose hate rhetoric aimed at President Bush is really meant for someone else who she can’t admit even to herself is her real target. To do so would represent one of those “unacceptable impulses” Dr. Freud was talking about.

In this case it could well be that Cindy Sheehan is projecting her rage at George Bush when the one she really despises is her late son Casey, who died as a hero in Iraq, precisely because he did die a hero in Iraq.
---
And she says of her son, "He died for oil. He died to make your [Bush's] friends richer. He died to expand American imperialism in the Middle East."

How dare he?

Cindy Sheehan doesn’t need to talk to the president. A talk with a therapist would be more appropriate.

I would, revise it a little to Cindy Sheehan, Matron of the Universe...

How about this to fry her:

War hero, Casey Sheehan, honored by hundreds of visitors for his sacrifice in the name of freedom still inspires many of the upcoming generation to stand up and defend our nation in its time of peril.

Meanwhile, Cindy Sheehan, Matron of the Universe, armed with crystals and parchments of power, rushes back after consultations with the council of elders to snatch her banner away from upstarts in the trenches of Crawford Texas and reassert her presence on the fields of Texas.

Grief seems to be an emotion some people just cannot digest. They live it out in public, exaggerated, and frantic, and they appear irrational to those of us who are actually able to process and deal with grief. In some ways, they must be trying to soothe the pain by diverting their attention with other emotions, namely, anger and through the blaming of others. (BTW, I'm simply observing, not agreeing with her). I find her conduct to be pathetic and actually laughable. I imagine her son is rolling over in his grave in shame.

Till ya have a heart attack
You'd best believe that's true
We'll bite your neck
And scratch your back
Till you don't know what to do
What you need is...
Motherly love
Motherly love
Forget about
The brotherly and other-ly love
Motherly love
Is just the thing for you
You know your Mothers' gonna love ya
Till ya don't know what to do
You know I've got a little Motherly love for you baby
You know I've got a little Motherly love for you honey
You know it doesn't bother me at all
That you're only 18 years old
'Cause I got a little Motherly love for you baby

Christ, this broad would be under observation in a padded room if the media hadn't gotten ahold of her.

She's talking like her son was five years old and was Shanghai-ed into the army.

She's spewing out libel and slander as if it were a holy writ.

And in her ramblings today she sounded...um...well...medicated.

167 Fenway_Nation  Fri, Aug 26, 2005 11:48:30am

What's the latest on the Err America scandal, anyway? Notice how almost as soon as this woman popped up, the whole Air America pilfering funds from the Boys and Girls club just kinda fell by the wayside.

I'm not saying the NOIN/Code Pink moonbats staged this for the express purpose of deflecting attention away from their flagship radio station pilfering funds from a local charity...just that it was a nice little bonus.

Does this mean Air America is off the hook now?

169 TotallySirius  Fri, Aug 26, 2005 11:54:12am

She's getting shady funding for this protest and she's already set it up so that her tax protest is tied to her war protest and any questioning or audit of her finances is 'revenge' by the evil McChimpy BushHitlerRoveHalliburton.

How convenient, too bad it won't work.

The IRS don't play politics, they'll just gladly send a conservative to jail as they would a moonbat.

Isn't Code Pink the outfit that sent money to the insurgents or Al-Sadr or someone trying to kill Americans in Iraq back in the early days of the war?

totally code pink - medea benjamin gave $600,000 to falluja. new republic article. something about ordinary americans giving and that it's an unjust war. one former resident took part in an operation that brought over $500,000 of needed medical supplies to rhamadi. it was delivere in june and he died there in july. an attempt by code pink to help cover the good the troops do.

Can you imagine the smell of Camp Casey? It must be like Feet Central. I'll go out on a limb and guess that the people in Camp Cuckoo have never heard of hand sanitizer. Couple that with everybody sharing the portable toilets, holding hands while singing kumbayah, and afterwards eating their pita bread and hummus, the end result is that Camp casey has become the largest petri dish experiment known to mankind.

Here's the skinny on the operation out of Crawford and it's no tent in a ditch!

[Link: www.washingtonpost.com...]

"They Are Stardust, And in Texas
At the Crawford Protest Camp, Growing Echoes of Woodstock"

"CRAWFORD, Tex., Aug. 21 -- Camp Casey, which started with one mom and a grievance, mushroomed over the weekend into a massive settlement with a party tent for 2,000, a shuttle-bus service and an elaborate catering operation that deposited a 26-foot-long refrigerator truck, generators, and restaurant-quality ranges and warming ovens in a field next to President Bush's ranch.

"The hippie crowd that originally was drawn to Cindy Sheehan's protest is still in town -- activists from Food Not Bombs are sleeping in an old school bus that has been painted sky blue and can be started only with jumper cables. But now they have been joined by liberals from throughout the West who are double-parking their hybrid-fueled cars to take part in a peace protest with a budget that is $120,000 and rising..."

It's all the same show business crowd, though. One woman in the kitchen was saying that it wasn't the usual 'nuts and berries' crowd because 'no one had asked for a vegan dish' and she's planning to make chili on the weekend with some donated Buffalo meat. I'm hoping they all get ptomaine! :)

199 peggie  Fri, Aug 26, 2005 1:59:06pm

i wonder how kinked out they would be if they woke up one morning to find that there was indisputable evidence linking saddam to al qaeda. what can you say to people who's only comback to a proven fact is a frothing argument. of course, the planned chemical attack on jordan that could've killed tens of thousands that was foiled is an issue that wouldn't register on someone who's looking in the wrong direction . there's the saying - dot all your i and cross all your t - sometime i feel like were battling over a t than wasn't crossed.

Hmm ... Going back to your earlier post, #58 maybe Goulie Girl...
Still, she would probably shrug off Moron, but I favor Matron in that it implies...age...maturity (as in old cheese) perhaps a bit of frumpiness...attributes I don't think the uber-hip Cindy wants associated with herself (-ishness).

It's amazing to see the lefties imploding to such a degree (and sometimes also *exploding*). Down here it is the same, lefties are losing it, they resort to all kind of antics to try to be noticed by the silent mayority, but the latter puts very little attention to them; and the wackier they get, the less people support them. It's quite a vicious cycle the one they are trapped in. I'm beginning to think that Rove has influence not only in the US lol.
