-RetweetViolence Spreading in Australia

Wed, Dec 14, 2005 at 5:47:59 pm PST

The Australian reports that four churches have been attacked in Sydney by gangs of Lebanese Muslim youths.

FOUR churches in Sydney’s southwest have been attacked in 24 hours as the city’s riots spread from race to religion.

A community hall linked to a Uniting church was burned to the ground early yesterday, carol-singers were spat on and church buildings peppered with gunfire.

In response, members of the Arab Christian and Arab Muslim communities have called for a curfew for all Lebanese youths over the weekend.

Police believe the attack on the hall, in the suburb of Auburn, was intended to destroy the Uniting church next door, while nearby StThomas’s Anglican Church, which has a primarily Chinese congregation, had all its front windows smashed. Three of the attacks were on churches within minutes of each other. The night before, Molotov cocktails were used in an attack on an Anglican church in Macquarie Fields in the city’s far southwest.

Arab Christians have suggested the attacks on churches may have been meant as a violent attempt to “shame” the city’s Lebanese Christian community into supporting Lebanese Muslims in the race-hate war, which began as a battle against young white males over use of suburban beaches. ...

Amjad Mehboob, head of the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils, said he believed the violence had been committed by an extremist fringe of the Muslim community. “I wish we knew who they were. I wish we could engage with them so we can find out what their beliefs are, so we can deal with them,” he said.

Read Bat Ye'or. They expect the Australians (and the rest of the infidel world) to convert to Islam, adopt the subservient position of dhimmitude, or die.

Are they sure it's the Muslims? I mean, they are so peaceful I would be shocked if they had anything to do with this.

But, if it is, let's not offend them with any accusations.

I am hoping it's too cold here in Wisconsin for them to start something here. But, if they do there are enough hunters alone to put down any burning riots.

Wow. This is the fruit of multi-culturalism. Immigration is fine when assimliation is part of the package but by pretending there are no differences between cultures all the west has done is import problems from other parts of the world.

I'd like to see the peace in our time brigade trying to engage with 150 leb thugs carrying baseball bats and crow bars during a fun night out in Sydney.

I'd say they would pretty soon be engaging the services of a brian surgeon to try and get their cranium cavities rebuilt.

Yes, these thugs and their families should be returned to Lebanon on rusty steamers with one way tickets. If they wanted to engage with the rest of Australai you'd think they'd have done it by now.

The Aussies certainly will not take this lying down like the French:

A heavy police presence was again ordered last night as the suburb of Cronulla - the scene of race-related violence on Sunday - began a second night of lock-down and police roadblocks.

During a tour of the command post set up in the Sydney Police Centre to co-ordinate the crisis, Deputy Commissioner Andrew Scipione told Mr Iemma the situation was being treated as if it were a terror attack.

It's pretty evident what their beliefs are. If you're a church, not a mosque, you are going to get burned. That's not Aussie YOBs doing that. That can only be one group of people and we all know who they are, don't we? Hmmm?

Very good. The ROP shows its true colors. But anti-muslim riots are not the answer, and usually will end up targeting innocents. The solution should be deportation by the boatload of those who would attack the people and the state. Repeat as necessary. Those who remain should be the more temperate, more ready to assimilate people.

WAY WAY OT BUT I'M NOW CANCER FREE!
Sorry to go OT guys, but spoke to my doctor who told me (with regards to my prostate cancer )discovered July 2, 2005 that I've either killed it or it's in Deep Remission.
Funny thing is that less than 30 minutes later, I received an e-mail from an LGFer, someone who I've considered a friend but with whom I haven't really been in direct touch with recently, sent me, via e-mail, a truly uplifting and spiritual story (way too long to repeat here: suffice to say that in that story the Lord reveals himself at the very end and it's just - Words fail my ability to describe it). But I can say that although I read the story last night, I printed it out today and REALLY read it - and needed several tissues to finish it.
When I told my Mom about being Cancer Free, it's as if I could FEEL an awful weight being lifted from her shoulders and she laughed, I mean really LAUGHED for the first time in I literally don't know how long. I then told her about the story and she insisted I read it to her, which I did (again, several tissues required) and my Mom said "God has touched you".
I know some of you out there don't care, some of you do and some of you have prayed (and some agnostics have at least had good thoughts about my health) for me for more than 5 months and I thank each and every one of you. Strangely enough this LGFer who sent me the story hasn't responded to either of the e-mails adivsing her of this discovery of my being Cancer free, but I still thank her just the same.
Just to be clear, the oncologist said that I've either killed the tumor or it's in DEEP remission. If the latter it could return again at any time, but he's quite convinced that if it does we can treat it and I can beat it again. But as of Right Now I'm CANCER FREE!

Sorry to go OT, but I just had to let all of youse know this and to thank those who were praying/wishing me well. Thanks.

BOXING PROMOTER DON KING: 'BUSH IS A REVOLUTIONARY'

Wed Dec 14 2005 19:23:37 ET

CNN, THE SITUATION ROOM 4:00 PM EST

WOLF BLITZER, HOST: Don king is known worldwide as a big-time boxing promoter. But has also taken some new fights on recently...

You love George Bush?

DON KING; I love George Walker Bush because I think he's a revolutionary. He's a president that comes in with conclusiveness. What they're doing in tomorrow in Iraq is a demonstration of that for the vote for democracy. The fundamental process of democracy is freedom of speech, law and order, being able to have freedom, working with people and working and governing yourselves. George Bush is that. He included in...

BLITZER: Do you have any regrets supporting him? Take a look at that picture when you and I were there at the diner last year. Do you have any regrets supporting him as enthusiastically as you did?

KING: No, I don't. In fact, I want to support him more now because it seems like everybody is punching him. You know what I mean? But he's fighting back, and he's throwing great combinations. And I think he's the guy that is really a revolutionary president.

I think he's a president that cares about the people he represents, but doesn't compromise himself to the extent that he acquiesce and accommodate. He goes out there and says like it is, and tries to make things better. Inclusiveness, education, is fighting for that.

These are the things that many guys that don't fight for -- George Walker Bush is a tremendous advocate to America, a great president for the great American people, and he's decisive. He's doesn't equivocate.

Any guesses when American churches and beaches lead to this fine behavior. It will be coming no doubt. Thanks to our traitors at the state department whom are funded in retirement by the Sauds as well as some of our self pity congressman and congresswoman.

The administration has also not stopped Saudi Arabia from funding Muslim organizations in the United States. Law enforcement sources acknowledge that at least 80 percent of mosques in the United States have been essentially taken over by Saudi Arabia, which has provided funds and imams to the houses of worship.

The sources said that over the last year the administration has become more tolerant of Saudi funding and operations in the United States. They said the State Department as well as the U.S. intelligence community has warned that any crackdown on al Qaeda-aligned groups linked to Riyadh would damage or even sever security cooperation with the Arab kingdom

So far in the last 24 hrs

1. Local Baltimore TV station is doing investigative reporting on the MD4BUSH scandal.
Starting to look like local Democratic leaders were involved in setting up Republican Governors aid.

2. 68% of Americans want to see a troop withdrawal according to Iraqi ability to self protect. Only 28% wanted immediate pullout.

3. Iraqi poll shows numbers similar to American poll in #2 above.

4. 79% of Americans think congress is crooked

5. MSM news articles are starting to show American troop frustration with MSM negative reporting

6. Tookie is still dead.

We're already apologising to them in Sydney. I'll be waiting a long time I think before I get one from them. The media are cooking the books on this here to get some press life out of the "we're all racist here" angle. And because of this it's now encouraging the islamists to make it an issue. Meanwhile Iran's president is made of teflon and is not even part of local editorials or even world news headlines so there is the contrast for me.

The funny thing has been most TV interviewees I've seen having to constantly refute or correct the presenters that this is not racism on our part but theirs. That they are violent and do not respect any authority or community.

It's a gang thug thing mixed with an attitude/islamist thing and that it has to stop. It's not 100% islamist (more like 90 thuggery 10% islamic influence) but the hardcore islamic activists can see this as an opportunity for some play. They may not be pious muslims but the influence of that culture
is coming out in their behavior. The media will not state it here for fear of being un PC to the majority of Lebanese Christians.
Even the opposition party here thinks it's a great political tactic too.

But also a lot of attacks will be just gangs and hoods.
No agenda at all just hoods on the loose.
It's the inspiration that they can get away with it or stick it up us the do the things they do (pack rape violence and standover) that they get from their upbringing that has a lot of people steamed here. We are hearing a lot of "What are the parents doing". Why do they allow them to get like this ?"
Peole here are now starting to question what culture or influence made them this way. In that, the rioters have cooked their own goose. The police have greater powers, a bunch of video and Australians only put up with ratbags for so long.

Bless you! I'm so happy for you and about your news. What a relief! You and your mom have a right to cry.

As for little miracles...I know exactly what you're talking about. I won't go into details but on several occasions in my life I've been facing a brick wall and with no options, prayed for help. Within 24 hours I had it. One time I'd been everywhere looking for someplace to live because I had to move by the end of the month; my lease was up, I needed to leave the area I was in badly (I was being stalked) and finances were such that I couldn't just pick up and move...I had to wait till I had certain ducks in a row. But I had looked at so many places and the waiting lists were gigantic. All avenues out seemed blocked. One so-called 'friend' seemed to be enjoying my predicament and kept asking me "Well, what are you gonna do?" till I fairly shrieked at her, "I don't know. G*d knows my need and he'll help me. That's all I can say." I didn't know where that came from and she looked at me as if I'd lost my mind but I just kept quiet after that.

The next day the phone rang and one of my first visits had produced an opening for three months till the place I'm in now opened up, at which time I moved to the edge of the Bluffs at the lake where I am now. Within 24 hours!

I'm a believer after that, for sure! Don't be embarrassed about that. It must mean you're in a good place spiritually that your prayers have been heard directly and answered. Be grateful! G*d Bless! ,>

Good analysis. They are 'opportunistic' and using a play from the 'islamist' playbook isn't outside the realm of possibility at all. They will be what they want and use whatever angle will gain them the upper hand.

The country should ship the troublemakers home summarily. No discussion, no questions. The identified troublemakers and any found to have Hezbollah or jihadist connections or thug/gang connections goes. Make a new law and make it retroactive, if you have to. It's YOUR country. YOU tell THEM what to do and how high to jump. And if they don't, give them the boot!

Most people in any given neighborhood know who the assholes are. Who do you think you are kidding?

I'd be watching those mosques real close. Payback can be real tough.

92 Cornish intifada  Wed, Dec 14, 2005 4:47:48pm

Terence Hanlon burned down a mosque didn't physically harm anyone and after Sept 11 and hundreds of other provocations on TV and gets 6 years jail edspite bing on medication

- where is the justice? 6 years is a long time - he'll be 30 before he gets out -I would think a crime would merit 6 months max.

I would say that the NSW Police Force won't even seriously go after these xmas carol shooters or the church burners. When it comes to ethnic violence the police are hopeless. This is because the police due to inaction have allowed the Lebs to escalate things and pretty much do as they please. Was it multiculturalism that made the police impotent? Was it the threat of violence and riots? was it a sense of protecting their careers? Either way the police allowed Monday and Tuesday to happen. The people of NSW cannot rely on the police except to put you the Aussie male in jail for defending yourself. t has been apparent for many a year that the police will only enforce laws that they feel like enforcing. Anything easy is the way to go - but if it involves a task where the media can grab a hold of it and make them look bad then they won't do it. I call it self-preservation. Why care when you get raked over the coals every time you try to make a difference?

The Seven Network said it had obtained a police incident report instructing officers to stay away from one of the trouble spots – believed to be Punchbowl Park in Sydney's west – on Monday night.

Well - guess what... the people of Australia are sick to fucking death of having to obey every unknown law in this over-legislated land while 2nd-generation pigshit is allowed to run rampant and have nothing done about them. Can anyone say: "Trial by media"? Where were the police while all this tension was building up? I can tell you where they were - out on the roads enforcing the profitable fines and adding another tax to the population. This could all become like Belfast rather quickly. he lebs are animals people go on about sundays "riot" which was little more than a pub brawl and talk about Howards, but people are really sick of all that pc nonsence and just switch off. It doesn't mean much when your brothers, Auntie etc are getting hit in the head with a bseball bat -all some people can think of is revenge.

He was so supportive of the President and so humorous and gracious. The antithesis of Jackson and that crowd. And he always had his little flags and stuff with him which he waved. He was funny and sweet and very very supportive. Bless him! I've come to appreciate Don King when I didn't before. I think I blamed him to some degree for the way Tyson turned out. But I realize now Tyson had opportunities many of us never had and yet he threw it away by the crowd he chose to hang with. Enuff of that!

G'day from Down Under

A bit early and the sun is shining! Here's a link to an article from the Australian Arab Council blaming racism for the riots

Now most thoughtful Aussies know that

One protest at Cronulla, where a minority of yobbos decided to drink themselves into a frenzy does not

EQUAL

Two nights of cars being wrecked, one man being stabbed, people being bashed by iron bars and baseball bats, shop windows being smashed, women being called Aussie sluts, with one woman with her kidlets in the car, being followed to her home by these thugs, a school being shot at, a church hall being firebombed and another set on fire,, another church having it's windows smashed, and more of the same

This crap does not wash here Mr Jabbour

Racism is to blame for Sydney's riots, says Arab Australian Council

Good news, you're still in Phase I: Medina.

"Arab Australians have had to cope for some time with vilification, racism and abuse after numerous international and domestic events," he said.

"We are more than anybody aware of the fringe elements of society that have racist agendas and prejudicial propensities.

"This reality must now be recognised by political leaders and government agencies as a significant impingement on the rights of Arab and Muslim citizens."

When they're still whining and using western language you have a chance. When they're in the streets burning cars screaming "Allah is greatest" you have real problems (cough, France).

Just ONE journalist could ask about the rights of non-Muslims back in Lebanon. I know that's asking a great deal, one good question. But it's not impossible. Climb that mountain, MSM!

This will tell you all you need to know about the NSW police FORCE ( for Australians only). I blame Peter Ryan - the ENGLISH commissioner. I have dealt with Uk cops and they are weak and wimpy - I remember after a murder of a Turk during a Kurd/Turk drug gang fight in Haringey (London) me and my mates crossed the police lines to go home even though the murder scence was a block away and they had fenced off our street and told us we had to walk a half a mile. " F--- that !" we thought and pushed him aside. Sadly the NSW police have gone all soft unless of course you are carrying a tree branch in self defence and are Australian - then you will get 4 months jail.

Thats is why people were angry - also rumour has it the muslim girl who had her head scarfe ripped off wasn't chased by a crowd - she had a one on one fight with a local 16 years old girl and lost.

I've been depressed all week as the MSM focus on Sunday and the yobbos, and excusing the Leb gangs path of destruction on Sunday and Monday night - it's as if it's OK to terrorise a city if you are offended by something

The people in the Shire are naturally upset over criticsm like being told that this is their fault for being too insular, and that the surfers have no right to "own" the beach - On Sunday the community showed that they just sick to death of years of harassment which had been allowed to continue for years

Of course the MSM never tells that story correctly

A lot of the feeling here is that we should not have to go that far. Why should we be made to be bastards to people like they do. To ostracize them or deport them. That would be easy and give them a story to tell about how racist we are. No we want them to take responsibility for their children’s attitudes. That would be a better punishment. You can't carry on like they have here and not expect to get it back.

All immigrants (including us white convicts) feel a special thing about being Australian. Perhaps I am waxing lyrical a bit too much but I like to think a lot of us are here not by choice andwe had to make the best of it to survive. That’s what the nuggetty fierce Australian spirit comes from. When you stand in the vastness of this county you are humbled. And if you travel around and meet the friendly people peaceful people and wonder how convicts and victims could end up in paradise.
These are reasons why we feel close to Americas to as most of us got kicked or chased out of our countries and told to find a new place to live.
I reckon we both had the last laugh.
When we see this violence around us we say,
Why do they want to spoil it ?
When every body else seems to be able to thrive and get along. Australia is supposed to be on the cutting edge in terms of the idea of multiculturalism so our leftys and uni students tell me. It does work here. But you have to be tolerant naturally. Australians are because we care about our easy going lifestyle.
Everybody knows it's good except for these guys.

Those who have ignored the gang problem too long are to blame. PC attitudes in media and politics are at fault.
The leaders of their communities are powerless to stop it.
They are the ones who have put us in this situation and have done nothing. The police are tied behind PC attitudes and will not label it race or religion at all. I think that it still boils down to a gang thing as far as the burning and riots are concerned.
But the attitudes that drive the contempt and (their) justification for going postal are not. Aussies want an attitude adjustment to get back to our peaceful life here or a crackdown if it gets worse. It's been 20 tears brewing and they need to put a lid on the gangs and just settle everybody down.
As for the islamists who try to get advantage we will be watching you. You woke us up and now we're watching.

These Islamofacists insist that we give them respect.

My, question is why? What have they done to EARN our respect? Chop off someone's head, that's supposed to get respect.

Respect is earned. Earned in promoting peace, curing disease, helping those in need, and just plain being a good person.

Have they done any of this? No! As soon as it looks like someone is singling them out, they cry "racism".

If they want our respect and attention, their religious clerics would be standing up and telling others that it is wrong to kill others, especially because they do not believe in your religious beleifs.

Hi - I posted the other night that I took a detour to the Lakemba Mosque on the way to my daughter's place as I'd heard that there was a gathering there - well the street was blocked off so I waited a while -but there were hundreds of cars and people - they seemed to be leaving - I heard later that it was a peaceful protest ( but a copper or reporter had her leg broken , and cop cars were stoned - peaceful? ) And the protest was because of a rumour that the "Bra Boys were coming to attack the mosque - 'Bra Boys are the Maroubra surfer gang))

Then we heard that there were people there with megaphones calling out the usual - Allu Ackbar!

Thank heavens for talkback radio and the internet because there is a PC ban on the truth here

Then a convoy of about 20 to 50 cars left the mosque to go on their invasion of Cronulla, Brighton-le-Sands and Maroubra

A SYDNEY magistrate has thrown the book at a 21-year-old man who was at Sunday’s riots in Cronulla, jailing him within hours of his arrest for carrying a tree branch as a weapon in the western suburb of Penrith.

The swift justice happened because the man was charged with carrying an offensive weapon in a public place - a summary offence that is dealt with immediately, usually resulting in a fine.
[…]
Police told the court the man had been arrested after midnight on Monday with two others, who were carrying iron bars. The men told police they had just come from Cronulla and claimed they had been harassed by a group of people of Middle Eastern appearance

the only victim identified is expected to fully recover with some TLC and regular watering.

meanwhile the "victims of ugly aussie racists" get on with business..

A 23-year-old man was in St George Hospital ...[with] a knife embedded in his back ... [after] an altercation outside a golf club with a "group of males of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance".

• The Australian flag at the Brighton RSL Club and burnt it in the street. Youths were seen at a garage filling bottles with petrol in nearby Monterey.

• 50 carloads of youths smashed more than 100 vehicles with baseball bats and other weapons

• Gunshots near Northies Hotel at Cronulla

• At Caringbah... four men got out and began attacking patrons of Antonio's Pizzeria. They knocked a woman unconscious on the footpath and smashed the window of a denture clinic.

People have been accosted in their cars, asked if aussies, then dragged out and beaten up

Homeowner taking out the garbage, assaulted and continually kicked while his terrified small child watched in terror

In Bay Street, Brighton-le-Sands, a young woman was sitting in a car when men approached and opened the door to her vehicle and put a hand up her dress, saying: "We are going to rape you, you Aussie sluts" ... a shot was fired at the woman's car but she was unhurt.

then theres the firebombed churches, childrens xmas pageant abandoned when their cars and church shot up...

About 11.30pm a group of about 100 Cronulla locals surrounded a car carrying men of Middle Eastern appearance, but police cleared the crowd and let the car escape.

Hours earlier, about 200 men had assembled outside Lakemba Mosque - some armed with Glock pistols - and dozens more gathered at Campsie. They were preparing to travel to Maroubra Beach, where up to 300 locals, many armed with crowbars, waited for an arranged fight, according to "Bra Boys" at the beach.

But some young Muslims said they had gathered to protect the mosque because of a threatened attack on it by a gang from the southern beaches.

Following Sunday's riot at Cronulla beach - when local mobs had bashed people of Middle Eastern appearance - police confiscated iron bars and other weapons at Maroubra last night and blocked roads around the mosque. About 20 police cars surrounded the mosque, where four men showed their pistols and ammunition to a news crew, and boasted that others were carrying arms.

get rid of your Glocks...words out...tree branches are the new weapons of choice for hardened crims.

Latest reports on MSM... , a nationwide dragnet has been set in motion after an elderly man carrying a "designated WMD" ... a "stick" ...is wanted in connection with weapons charges and public disturbance after reportedly "parting the waters " at a Red Sea beach without local PC Unit permission thereby aiding and abetting rioters to escape

OT, but no "open" in sight

I can't really remember vigorously disagreeing with Victor Davis Hanson's commentary before, but man did he miss the mark, IMHO, with his The Political Arcade article published Dec 12th. If this has been discussed at LGF, please forgive me. But the Holdiays and a sudden rush in new mortgage loan applications (of which I am the sole processor)here in AZ leave me lurking at LGF quite infrequently as of late.

So VDH's point is that Clinton acted like a conservative and Bush acts like a liberal. He makes several comparisons including the rate of federal spending, use of US military assets and the growth of the economy.

The Political Arcade

Mr. Hanson, however, completely miscalculates the impact that Spt. 11 had on the US economy. Further, he totaly underappreciates the truly 'heroic' measures Mr. Bush took to kick start a collapsing economy in early 2002. Without the huge run up in federal spending under Bush, in chorus with the tax cuts of that period, our economy faced a cripling depression.

As I concluded in my email to Mr. Hanson,

so while i agree that the democrat party is ruddlerless and without purpose, your attempt at an ironic comparison of the Bush and Clinton presidencies and their seeming mirror image lacks perspective and amplitude

I've been reading that Aussie cops have been emasculated by ridiculous rules they must follow and that this makes actual policing very difficult; that as a result, these Arab gangs are given a pass, more often than not.

I don't know that much about it (and would welcome comments from those who do) but it sounds like PCness has crippled the police and given criminal gangs free reign. I sincerely hope that either this is exaggerated or that it will now be fixed. If true, it is no wonder that people are getting tired of putting up with crap and seeing nothing done about it.

And since they did all get there, wouldn't one think maybe the Lebanese Christians asked what made Lebanon so sucky in the first place that they felt compelled to move halfway around the world? #146 ratman,

There's nothing nostalagic about giving a damn for your country and standing up for it. Neither is it "racism" as the MSM hand puppets instinctively call it. We here all know this has nothing to do about race.

My opinion is not that that PARTICULAR group of immigrants can't see what all the others have, rather its precisely that they DO see the bounty of your country - and they want it all to themselves. They figure some strutting about and ganging up will do it.

If they read any history instead of the Koran they might know otherwise.

Neither Australian nor American stock was particularly genteel now was it. No, and if they push far enough they might discover that instincts from a dozen generations ago are not entirely gone from the DNA. Its entirely plausible that on occasion a civilized society will take the gloves off in order to eliminate that which threatens its continued existance, and doing so doesn't weaken its civilization in the least in the long run.

God speed to you and yours.

The new penalties for rioting and affray just passed in the NSW Lower House. Don't think there will be a problem with them being passed in the Upper House.

Under the new measures, police will have the power to:

- declare lock-down zones

- confiscate vehicles

- shut down licensed premises

- impose temporary alcohol-free zones

- remove the presumption of bail for the offences of riot and disorder

- increase the penalty for riot by five years to 15 years in jail

- double the penalty for affray to 10 years in jail.

The No Bail provision is a big chock in the revolving door.

Gadfly, not much model support, but local AccuWeather supplied weather reader/pretty face guy on KPRC (has a degree in broadcast media, and did a 2 year program at Mississippi State in "Broadcast Meteorology") apparently been shown the Joe Bastardi Texas mid-week blizzard disaster, ebcause he said 30% sleet or snow HOU next Tuesday night.

12Z GFS did predict about 1 inch (2.54 cm) snow for DFW then, which melts/sublimates before Christmas, but 12Z European looked like it was backing off. No model today showed snow anywhere near Gulf Coast.

Good news, I was worried about DFW area Saturday, but it looks like nothing more than a few flurries/light sleet, with temps barely below freezing, so roadways should be good for roadtrip to DFW this weekend.

About sleet/snow for HOU area, now it would be delightful to have Christmas season snow 2 years in a row (my car and palm trees got dusted Christmas Eve, and, of course, Victoria, Texas got 8 inches (20 cm), an all time record, and Corpus Christi got more snow (about 6") in one night, than in previous 60 years combined, and Brownsville, with almost 2 inches (almost 5 cm) also broke all time 107 year old record for most snow in one day), but I'd like to see some model support for Joe Bastardi's snow to I-10 forecast next week before I jump on any bandwagons.

Any snow within about 50 km of coast as far North as Boston may get some quick company, another inch or two, before being washed completely away by heavy rain Saturday, leaving all big cities barren and brown going into final shopping weekend before Christmas.

You know what is cool, in 1836 General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna lost thousands of conscript soldiers from tropical regions of Mexico to exposure in a blizzard that hit them just South of the Rio Grande (aka Rio Bravo del Norte). Either it used to be colder in the early 1800s (a holdover from Indonesian volcano activity and abnormally cold winters in US and Europe, aka "The Year Without A Summer), or destiny wanted the Alamo defenders, 186 men against several thousand troops, to hold on for the thirteen days of glory, that allowed Houston to train the Texas army.

(Of course, if Santa Anna hadn't decided to split his forces, and if the over-confident Mexicans hadn't decided to take a mid-day nap on the narrow peninsula between Buffalo Bayou and the San Jacinto river, just East of Houston, where there was no way to retreat, than the Texicans would not have been able to launch a surprise attack against the still superior Mexican army, capture Santa Anna, and win Texas freedom. But, then again, maybe Destiny told Santa Anna to split his troops, and take a mid day nap in a poorly chosen spot.

OT,

Oh just shut up, Viggo...

“I’m not anti-Bush; I’m anti-Bush behavior,” Mortensen told Progressive magazine. “In other words, I’m against cheating, greed, cruelty, racism, imperialism, religious fundamentalism, treason, and the seemingly limitless capacity for hypocrisy shown by Bush and his administration.”

Mortensen also blasted the administration’s handling of Hurricane Katrina and discussed why he supported anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan, who has protested the war in Iraq since her son was killed there. “Cindy Sheehan and how badly Katrina was bungled are two shots to the heart,” he said. “I hope the beast does fall down soon."

Via No Pasaran, one poster there (anti-Dhimmitude) posted one link and I also found another. Both are a must read as it pertains to the Australian situation.

Here's the article on Austalia which I found:

[Link: www.jamestown.org...]

"Australian Anti-Terror Raids: A Serious Plot Thwarted"
By Trevor Stanley

"On November 9 Australian police raided properties in Melbourne and Sydney, arresting 17 men and seizing bomb-making materials
Since September 11, 2001, Australians have been warned that an attack on Australian soil by al-Qaeda or its allies is probable, if not inevitable. In October, ASIO (Australian Security Intelligence Organization) released its 2004/05 annual report, which warned of the risk of “home grown” terrorists.

"Despite evidence of networks, training and preliminary planning for terrorist attacks in Australia before and after 9/11, several raids and waves of anti-terrorist legislation, only one person—Jack Roche—has been convicted of terrorist offences in Australia to date. This has led some in the country to speculate that the domestic terrorist threat was exaggerated. But the thwarting of a terrorist plot in its late planning stages in early November shows that the threat is very real..."

And very importantly this piece on the expansion into Latin America of Middle Eastern immigration, using immigration as the 'Trojan horse' to begin the jihad in other countries:

[Link: www.jamestown.org...]

"Radical Islam in Latin America"
By Chris Zambelis

"In the wake of the September 11 attacks, the possibility of al-Qaeda infiltrating Latin America became a priority for U.S. intelligence and law enforcement officials. However, the most publicized incidents of radical Islamist activity in Latin America have not been linked to al-Qaeda but instead to the Lebanese Shi’ite Hezbollah, which is ideologically and politically close to Iran. These include the March 1992 bombing of the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina and the July 1994 attack against the Argentine-Israeli Mutual Association (AIMA), also in the Argentine capital, allegedly in retaliation for Israel’s assassination of former Hezbollah leader Sheikh Abbas al-Musawi and his family in February 1992.

"Hezbollah officially denies responsibility for these attacks and remains emphatic that it only operates in the Israel-Lebanon theatre, in what it declares to be the defense of Lebanese soil and sovereignty against Israeli threats and occupation. Many questions still surround the attacks in Argentina. Some observers suggest that the attacks were in fact out of character for Hezbollah, and instead point to al-Qaeda’s possible involvement. This controversial theory throws into question the date of al-Qaeda’s earliest attack, which is generally believed to be the failed December 1992 attack against U.S. servicemen en route to Somalia in a hotel in Aden, Yemen that killed two Austrian tourists instead. It also raises the possibility of a link between the attacks in Latin America and the first World Trade Center bombing in February 1993..."

I'm trying to imagine what it would be like if this thing happened here.

Activist Muslims took away so many US lives before September 11th happened. And then they commited 911. Now they roam in from all over the islamic world to kill our American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I picture young men, their minds eaten away by the cancerous mindfuck of Islam, and I wonder what I would do, here in the streets of my town, if I saw the face of activist muslims here, doing what they do ..?

Would I reject the calls of the police to stay away?

Would I reject the words of my friends telling me to stay away?

Would I do what I know is the only action to stop these sick sick oncehumans?

I look at Australia being terrorized by them* and I feel a swell of anger I did not feel when the French were getting terrorized by them.*

Looking at Australia I think its clear what I would do. I would join in the violent rallys against the oncehuman boys. I would find an angry muslim activist face and smash it, without hesitation.

But here? Would I be stopped by the constraints our society has in place to stop such things? Would I fear the cops enough or would my friends get agressive enough to stop me?

I dont know. I just hope all the crazy non muslim kids in Australia are answering the activist muslim's call for gang war. And stomping the shit out of some activist muslim ass.

*activist muslims.

One thing about lax border security.

I read something somewhere about a Mexican street-cart food vendor back during the run up to the war, who was nicknamed "Saddam Hussein", because he was almost a dead ringer.

There are Mexicans with little Indian blood, or at least don't look Indian, and they look Arab. So, the other way around, it wouldn't be impossible for a M.E. terrorist to pass for a Hispanic.

Just a thought.

"Hey my man, you want falafel ? I make you falafel - 2 for 1 - Saddam make special for you and the beautiful lady ! AAAaaaHHHaaaHa ! Just for you my man..."

They [Iran] have developed vessels whose job is to sink as many oil tankers as possible to block the Straits of Hormuz [to other countries that use that route]. Once two, three or four vessels are sunk, you have cut off 40% of the world's oil supply

That's interesting. Also, the Iranian Navy has just recently demonstrated a much more lethal capability, than previously known:

Israelinsider.com reported that Iran commissioned its second domestically built submarine, a craft that can fire missiles and torpedoes simultaneously.
Daily Times Pk reported that Iran has successfully tested surface-to-sea missiles with a range of 110 kilometres.

That's Amalie/BG, then, who is the ER doc, eh? And you're in school...calculus...on vacation...don't know what your major course of study is. And you have a lovely little girl.

Maybe I have something right?

And you make great pies, eh?

:) Sleep well, too.

I worked at a school for troubled youts and met the most stunningly beautiful 18 yr old there, but quiet? not a chance. Cursed like a banshee and laughed like Fran Drescher.

As the Iraqis are voting, this video, from The Political Teen, is just wonderful!

G-d bless our troops! Tel the moonbats they can kiss President Bush's ass, as he was brave enough to create this day for the Iraqis, and didn't turn tail and run..even though he got bad info, and now has stated this. I pray that the election will go smoothly, and that the Iraqis will realize that by voting as free people, they now can look to a real future. The color purple on their fingers is a sign of freedom.

I understand that a lot of Americans will do the same to their forefingers, too.

FOUR churches in Sydney’s southwest have been attacked in 24 hours as the city’s riots spread from race to religion.

It spread to religion? F***ing ignorant press. It was never about race! The only people who tried to make this about race (in order to accuse the whites of racism) is the very press that is now being forced to back-pedal! This violence has everything to do with the practitioners of the religion of peace. It has nothing to do with being ethnically Lebanese.

What the heck happend. Now the international community will think that they are racist. What a bunch of fools if they think they are going to get along.

CRONULLA surfers have apologised for their role in Sunday's race riots, saying they were ashamed by the violence and vowed not to allow a repeat.

Shire surfer Brad Whittaker released the written apology last night after two days of talks between senior members of the beach's surfing community and representatives of Sydney's Lebanese community.

The statement said the surfers unequivocally rejected any form of racism and was accompanied by apologies written by younger surfers who took part in the riots.

"The day began as a show of solidarity against the behaviour of ethnic gangs who have been harassing the public on our beaches over a period of several years," the statement said.

"It escalated out of control under the influence of right wing racists, from outside this community, and alcohol.

Actually, Amalie, I was responding to your posts.

Two nights ago you were kind. Tonight?

There is a hautier than thou aspect of this blog that I'm not exactly 'thrilled' with. You guys - the 'ole, established crowd - seem to be quite quick to judge. The clique... From where I sit, that's not loving or kind, either.

I got trashed because of people who mistook me for someone else. Those that piled on never apologized. Is that fair?

I approached the other night in a spiritual mode. But if you check the history of my posts, you'll see I have offered other cite laden, analytical posts.

Amalie, do you believe it is possible to love unconditionally? Total strangers to boot?

Are you the least bit spiritual? Btw, I wouldn't judge you about it one way or the other. Just curious.

I will try to answer your question about unconditional love as it applies to me.

I, myself, have not reached the level of unconditional love for all.. I do have unconditional love for a select few. And especially for one man in my life. Which is a surprise to me as I make conditions all the time. But for total strangers, no...

And unconditional love can also be a form of controlling others. It sounds paradoxical but it is true. Unconditional love can also be crippling to others because you do not focus on them but merely on your application of applying unconditional love.

Lovely, Amalie...! Thank you!

Now we can begin to communicate.

I, myself, have not reached the level of unconditional love for all.. I do have unconditional love for a select few. And especially for one man in my life. Which is a surprise to me as I make conditions all the time. But for total strangers, no...

I have been working on this *subject* for about 12 years now...big time. I'm not there yet. [Will I ever be? I truly doubt it.] I'm not perfect or anywhere near where I'd like to be. I work on it minute by minute, thought by thought.

I wish we could sit down and talk, Amalie. It is too long to go into here...

But suffice it to say - at the risk of receiving 'judgment' from the crowd - I know we are One. It is based on many experiences... That means that I endeavor to find this unconditional love for ALL. Every stranger in every grocery store...and on every blog...

As for you and your guy.. I say you are WAY down the path by NOT creating conditions. Your love will benefit from your love. Maybe he's just in 1st grade while you are a senior in college? Did we as third graders think that first graders were inferior? No.

Again, I wish we could just sit down and talk. You are most welcome, Always, in my heart and in my home, Amalie. Hopefully, in time, we'll be there for each other in very good ways.

Sweet night.

I have to disagree about him. He is farther along the path than I. He sees things much more clearly than I can and so his conditions are actually ones which, if I fulfill them, would make me a better person and would go a long way in a making a healthy relationship.

Unconditional love, I am beginning to see, does not really benefit anyone. His love is pure. There is no doubt about this. A healthy relationship has to have boundaries. Unconditional love is too ambiguous.

Amalie,

I'm sorry but I disagree. There is nothing negative about unconditional love. I *believe* the only reason we are here on this Earth is to learn how to love better! Period. I believe we - our souls - are here to learn our love lessons. Your guy/your love may, because of his 'expectations', evoke the best from you. Nothing wrong with that...especially if you respect him and learn from him. But your lack of conditions makes you - in my mind, at least - more advanced on the soul spectrum. Does your cat, or dog, or baby... as you enter the room...expect anything from you as they profess their abject love for you? No.

They are just there for you in every way, loving you.

deportation by the boatload of those who would attack the people and the state. Repeat as necessary. Those who remain should be the more temperate, more ready to assimilate people.

I don't agree. Those that remain will start bleating about how they are being victimised and the left and the media will totally forget about the aggravation they've caused and agree with them. They'll find some emotional sob story about this family or that little boy, and they'll play it and play it until the authorities cave in. Those that get deported will go to wherever they're going and get a lawyer. They'll get legal aid from us to pay for him. Then we'll be sued in our own courts and we'll lose. At the same time the rest of them will be chanting about how we're starting a war against Islam and the arab media will stoke that up. The next thing you know, we'll have more planes flying into our tall buildings.

I go for the machievellian approach. Go for the mullahs and trouble makers. Find their natural enemies and give them whatever they need to make the problem disappear.

Although the media still try to portray it as an act of aggression, the Israelis have built a wall. It's the most defensive possible thing that anyone can do. So it is a weak argument the press have. People in the west can effectively do the same thing with their cheque books.

I've come across an astounding piece written in the Guardian over a year ago. I came by it through Melanie Phillips' diary and a piece by Jane Albrechtson in The Australian in which she quotes this essay which, at the time, raised a firestorm in Britain. In it the author urges the Liberal elite in Britain to change their strategy because multi-culturalism, at the ground level, was not working. It was an indictment of the system and considering the Guardian printed it I had to find it and read it. Here it is. This will blow your mind:

A couple of the posters here amidst the majority of realistic voices still preach dhimmitude.

How long till the violence is here on American beaches and embodied in burnt churches? So goes the question.

But then we have the dhimmi-inspired mental drivel that only comes from politically correct minds:

-We must not over-react when our women start getting raped.
-We must not over-react when our 7 year-old girls get sodomized my muslim rape-gangs.
-We must not over-react when property starts getting torched.
-We must not over-react when the bombs start exploding in crowded places.
-We must not over-react when muslim "insurgents" take over a school and start executing 6 year-olds.
-We must not over-react when the general murder of anyone non-Islamic for any reason breaks out.

~~~I have one simple question... at what fucking point is it acceptable to over-react against the destruction of our society and culture?~~~
Know what that means? Any action will be considered over-reaction, and the following will occur:
-The "right wing" will be blamed.
-White "bigotry" will be blamed, but will then be refined into Christian bigotry.
-Calls for severe penalties will be heard to combat vigilantes.
-Calls will be heard to begin "including" the insurgents in talks and negotiations (after all, we can't disenfranchise an entire voting group, can we? That might mean the ~death~ of democracy.
Dhimmi-sheep sicken me. Unfortunately, better than half of America are dhimmi-sheep - all of the left and most of the right.
Sure. Whatever. Let's all find a way to hold hands, include the muslims (who have never been included in any society due to their non-assimilation), and extend democracy to Islam here in America. Let's win this war with hugs.
Dhimmi don't surf. From today's "The Australian":
Split beaches into sections, say leaders
Jennifer Sexton
December 16, 2005
CRONULLA'S beaches might be divided into sections to remove some of the tensions that erupted into mob violence this week.
Sunbathers, soccer players and surfers could each be allocated an area on the southern Sydney beach to reduce the chance of arguments and conflict over who controls the sand.
Muslim and Lebanese "marshalls" and elders might also be sent from the western suburbs to patrol the area and sanction troublemaking young men visiting the beach.
The ideas were flagged at a meeting of community leaders, politicians and police who represented the Sutherland Shire and Lebanese and Muslim groups from the western suburbs. The meeting was hosted by federal Liberal MP Bruce Baird.
Actor and local surfer Daniel MacPherson said the groups were united in wanting the beach to be shared peacefully.
"The Mayor and Mr Baird have been looking at dividing beaches into areas for sport or for sunbaking or whatever," MacPherson said. "It's very early days but these are ways of avoiding confrontations on the beach."
Nada Roude, spokeswoman for the Islamic Council of NSW, said: "It's just better management. If we can get a grip on what are the factors that have led to these unfortunate events ... then I think we are better able to understand which solutions will bring people to harmony."
The meeting also discussed school swaps, where students from both areas would attend a term at the other's school.
"The issue of respect was one that was brought up from the very beginning over the last two weeks," MacPherson said.
"But respect won't come until people have knowledge and are educated about each other's ways and culture."
Ms Roude added: "Collectively and individually, we have to work on trying to educate each other. We want Australia to be a safe place, particularly the beaches, where families can come."
Sutherland Shire Mayor Kevin Schreiber said more police alone would not solve the problem in the long term and said the state Government had to take a leadership role and provide funding to build an understanding between cultures at a grassroots level.
"Whilst I am highly supportive of the legislation (to provide greater police powers) ... we must acknowledge that this is not just a policing matter," Mr Schreiber said yesterday. "It is unrealistic to assume that all of Sydney's problems will dissolve with more police on the beat."
The Government needed to restart discussions with community leaders and establish an education campaign, he said.
"We need the Government's assistance in getting the message out there that the beaches are there to share."
Yesterday at Cronulla, there were almost as many media and police on the beach as people enjoying the surf and sand. Pairs of uniformed officers patrolled the streets, footpaths and sand.
This stuff is Islamic driven. The Copts or other Lebanese won't be involved. It'll all be Islamic-driven provocation. In one instance on the weekend, after causing a lot of mayhem and trouble, these 'Middle Eastern men' all jumped back into their cars and repaired to the mosque. One of our own posters followed them (AussieMagpie). They stayed at the mosque for about an hour. Some came outside and beat on a policeman trying to keep order (what is that all about? That can't be 'racism'), then they all came out, piled back in their cars and went off to three separate beaches to create more mayhem.
Now, in the hour they took their hudna at the mosque, what did the Imam inside have to say to them about their behaviour? Or did he instead, as is sometimes their wont, urge them to go out and 'Kill the infidel!'? Whatever he said they went back for another go 'round and this time spread their friendliness and racial harmony to three as-yet-untouched beaches.
Now that isn't Aussie racism, though it may well be racism. But it seems to me it's more of what happened in France and Denmark, Sweden and in the Netherlands. Young Islamic men, the most brazen under the age where they can be charged, throwing rocks, trashing property, and the older ones in the background egging them on and batting clean-up at the end with their pipes and bats. That's organized gang behaviour and whether the Imam at the mosque is directing them or not, it should be looked into and they should all be deported. NOW!
The book 'Winning Through Intimidation' could have been written by these Middle Eastern thugs. Now there are lots of Middle Easterners who don't employ these tactics. But these brazen 'in-your-face' confrontations which rely on your surprise and unwillingness to make a scene, are a tactic the Islamists employ with impunity and they enjoy their work. To win with them you have to back them to a wall with more power than they have, then put the cuffs on them and deport them. There is no 'reasoning' with them; no amount of 'community outreach programs' are going to do it with this crowd. They mean to take over through birth demographics and intimidation right on the street outside your house, till the whole neighbourhood...nay, the whole city and then country, is too frightened to stand up to them. They've done it in Darfour, and the Sudan. They'll do it in Sydney, if you don't step on them fast!
And not just the politicians, either, but those of us who would impress others with our imitations of somber-sounding self-proclaimed "elites" who demand we approach any crisis through blame and negotitation.
Can't disenfranchise a whole class of voters? I say we can - no, we must! Islam will never assimilate, which means they will only use our process to gain power, then scrap the hated secularism when they can replace the constitution with sharia law. Must we "respect" democracy so much that we invite and welcome exactly the disease that would kill it?
TaxFreeKiller is Sun-Tzu-sensible. We see the nest, we kill it before they kill us. Hugging the nest won't accomplish anything but our own demise.
bonz @ #188 cites: Fjordman has documented the gang rapes
Fjordman offers his documentation in today's FrontPage Magazine;
Muslim Rape Wave in Sweden
Swedish girls Malin and Amanda were on their way to a party on New Year's Eve when they were assaulted, raped and beaten half to death by four Somali immigrants. Sweden's largest newspaper has presented the perpetrators as "two men from Sweden, one from Finland and one from Somalia", a testimony as to how bad the informal censorship is in stories related to immigration in Sweden...
It's clear to any rational observer that Muhammed's Mein Kampf endorses a Religion of Rape.
An Islamic Mufti in Copenhagen sparked a political outcry after publicly declaring that women who refuse to wear headscarves are "asking for rape." Apparently, he's not the only one thinking this way. “It is not as wrong raping a Swedish girl as raping an Arab girl,” says Hamid.
How many Western school girls must be violated before the Left awakens to the threat?
Exactly right. To that I add
"This is something that started out as a minor scuffle between some youths and a couple of life-savers that has suddenly become an issue of racism and religion.
It was about religion all along; they just "suddenly" realized it.
Steve Stanton, a spokesman for the Maronite Catholic Church in Australia, said he thought the shooting outside a carol service in South Auburn on Monday night was the responsibility of a "very small minority" of fanatics within the wider Muslim community.
Mr. Stanton thinks this, based on what evidence we have no idea. But nonetheless it is presented as a fact of the story.
Shouldn't Charles trademark Very Small Minority™?
Israel Resource News Agency formally asks the US Congress as to why US AID provides assistance to a municipality controlled by HAMAS.
U.S. AIDS HAMAS MUNICIPALITY GAZA CITY [MENL], December 15th, 2005 -- despite a U.S. boycott, the State Department has decided to fund municipalities controlled by the Islamic opposition.
The U.S. Agency for International development has funded development projects in Bani Suhaila. Bani Suhaila, located on the edge of Khan Yunis, has been controlled by Hamas since municipal elections in the summer of 2005.
Bani Suhaila Mayor Abdul Khader Al Rokab said AID and the Islamic Development Bank provided $392,000 for the paving of two roads from the town to other areas of the Gaza Strip. Al Rokab said he expected additional development projects in his municipality.
Hamas won 12 out of 13 seats in municipal elections in Bani Suhaila. The remaining seat was won by an independent candidate. Islamic sources said AID has also agreed to finance development projects in other Hamas-controlled municipalities. The sources cited the Gaza town of Rafah and the West Bank city of Kalkilya.
The United States has pressed Israel to enable Hamas to run candidates in Palestinian Legislative Council elections in January 2006. The ruling Fatah Party has disrupted voter registration in what could postpone or cancel the elections.
Oh, if you speak about our brilliant politicians and elites I agree: they don't see what's coming. They have the habit of thinking short-term (that is, from one election to the other, from one column to the other). And they are doing to America what has already been done to Europe. That is: nothing.
But the People here are different. And we have the Freedom to speak.
What Charles and other bloggers have done in these last few years NEVER happened in Europe: I remember the voices that denounced the invasion, twenty years ago, but they were few and nobody was listening. Compared to that, we are already an army: thousands of bloggers, posters, readers, debating every day.
It can be frustrting because the danger is terrible, the whole Western Civilization is at stake but we are already fighting, others will join.
We haven't yet stopped the invasion, but we will and we will overwhelm the invaders, they will be compelled to become Americans, decent Americans, or go away.
Aid is being given to Hamas because that's the way Condi Rice and her boss want it. If they didn't want to give aid to a terrorist organization, it would be a simple matter for either of them to stop it.
Speaking of supporting terrorism, Israel will allow 'Gaza-West Bank Trial Convoys' to begin next week due to US pressure from Condi's State Department.
[Link: www.jpost.com...]
It's interesting that Deputy Defense Minister Ze'ev Boim "attacked the plans to allow the convoys, saying it was the "wrong decision." He expressed hopes that the arrangement would not go through."
Boim, by the way, was one of those who followed Sharon to Kadima.
Oh, and check out this from the Jerusalem Post article:
"(Boim) said that the Palestinian Authority should be bullied for not ending terror, not Israel."
Why would the lebs attack an Anglican Church? They are about as dhimmified as any supposed Christian based church I can think of.
I am however encouraged that these ignorant savages aren't bright enough to understand the distinction.
When they act up in America, particilarly in the South, we will respond accordingly. We're already presumed to be a bunch of bigots anyhow, even though in my humble opinion, those days have long passed.
Bring it on savages! The YOBS are our brothers! Give me a beer, some barbeque, and a baseball bat. Let's get it on ass-wipe. When we're done, I'm going to introduce you to pork rinds, the hard way!
New Year's Day 1915 two pioneers in jihad against Australia ambushed an ore wagon loaded with picnicteers near Broken Hill, 700 miles inland from Sydney. This had to do with Austalia entering WWI against the Ottoman Empire, but was definitely domestic terrorism. Four dead and six wounded, both attackers were susequently killed by a posse. One was from Afghanistan, one from (then) India. The more things change the more they stay the same.
You're obviously a troll and an agent provocateur. No one is saying that. Go peddle your garbage someplace else.
u should read the comments to some of these stories more carefully ... I have seen pretty much verbatim "We need to eliminate all the muslims/there are no moderate muslims" ... It's funny how such comments never get criticized for their ignorance yet if I were to say "Most muslims don't even give a shit about 'Jihad'" that would likely draw way more ire for being 'ignorant'.
"We need to eliminate all the Muslims"
This sort of garbage that you present is spouted by trolls and agents provocateur like yourself.
Apart from the trolls and agents provocateur -- only a nitwit would fail to understand that we have allies in Iraq who are Muslims, and who are our comrades in arms. We don't turn against our comrades in arms. Not now. Not ever.
So your statement is ridiculous on several levels, and apparently is just made to plant poison on this site.
504 thefrollickingmole  Fri, Dec 16, 2005 11:50:46pm
A little late background. The labor (democrat lite) premier of the state (Governer would be the closest example for US)is the sitting member for the area that includes the Lakemba area and mosque. He relies on the votes of that group to maintain his position in parliment. He has been their member for some time, through the formative years of this trouble, rapes, drugs ect.
He has failed manifestly to crack down on the muslin element in this series of disturbances. he has closed beaches, and arrested many "anglo" rioters, but the figures on muslims arrested seems slightly low.
Esp when you consider NEARLY EVERY INCIDENT SINCE THE BEACH DISTURBANCE HAS BEEN MUSLIM ATTACKS.
Morris Liemma is his name and hes a disgrace who should resign or be sacked.
Closest comparisin would be Mayor of new Orleans after the flood.
THE TERRORISTS' PICNIC
If you go out in the West today
You'd better not close your eyes
If you let millions of Muslims in
You're in for a nasty surprise
'Cause every bearded bugger there was
Who blew up civilians in the Hindu Kush
Has planted bombs on the Tube and a bus
In London
Etc. etc.
