O'Reilly Outraged Over Arkin

Mon, Feb 5, 2007 at 6:49:42 pm PST

Bill O’Reilly was in high dudgeon tonight (and justifiably so) over William Arkin’s anti-military screeds in several MSM outlets. Hot Air has the second section, with the comment babes: Michelle tells O’Reilly, “Let a thousand Arkins bloom”.

UPDATE at 2/5/07 7:45:24 pm:

Here’s the first segment, sans comment babes, in which O’Reilly’s producer gets the high hat from Arkin, and O’Reilly has some rather harsh words for NBC News.

Youtube Video

(If the video doesn’t show up, it’s because it’s still percolating through YouTube’s caches and load balancers. Have patience, grasshopper.)

Great to expose Arkin for what he is but it's also a shame this turd gets any pub at all

gonna catch the late O'Reilly but H&C have Ayaan Hirsi Ali who is explaining that Islam is not a "Religon of Peace" and the "radicals" are actually just practicing Muslims. looks like Fox is starting to get with the picture...

what's up with Dick Morris? no love for Mitt Romney?

I am glad Mr. O was incensed...we need more people around the world to get incenses...maybe sell their GE stock, stop buying GE products, stop watching NBC...

what a sissy that guy Arkin was...he wanted a business card before he answered the fox news guy...nothing like a spineless journalist who takes a stand and then refuses to be a man and stand by his words...too bad he didn't ski into a tree...maybe next time...

looked like some little kids were there watching...hopefully his kids saw what a big pussy their father is...

"Let a thousand Arkins bloom"...

That flower goes by the name Rafflesia arkinii

a relation of Rafflesia arnoldii

It lives as a parasite on the Tetrastigma vine, as its host, which grows only in primary (undisturbed) rainforests. While many parasites appear like normal plants, Rafflesia lacks any observable leaves, roots, or even stems. Likened to fungi, Rafflesia individuals grow as thread-like strands of tissue completely embedded within and in intimate contact with surrounding host cells from which nutrients and water are obtained. Perhaps the only part of Rafflesia that is identifiable as distinctly plant-like are the flowers; although, even these are bizarre because they attain massive proportions and are usually reddish-brown and stink of rotting flesh. The flower is pollinated by flies attracted by its scent.

I predict that Arkin's days with the WaPo and NBC are numbered. O'Reilly really tore him a new one tonight.

Kirsten Powers and Michelle Malkin... Sorry, what the hell are we talking about?

17 carbon footprint  Mon, Feb 5, 2007 5:09:38pm

Bill went after NBC and GE tonight and hinted that he would go after WaPo later. He spent almost twenty minutes on it and his producer confronted Arkin as he was removing snow skis from his SUV. Arkin kept saying he would speak to him if he could furnish his business card. What a wimp.

18 pat  Mon, Feb 5, 2007 5:10:26pm

20 carbon footprint  Mon, Feb 5, 2007 5:12:09pm

Bill made the point that GE gets millions of dollars in military contracts and he was perturbed that NBC reacted with such a weak statement about Arkin.

21 Pepper  Mon, Feb 5, 2007 5:12:31pm

Wish I would have seen the special that caused Arkin to drop the facade. It was also interesting to hear of his past employ and interests: Greenpeace, Human Rights Watch. What amazes me is they gave that person a title of Military Analyst.

Watch out Martha Stewart. I am an interior decorator and a chef. I was trained at the Fast Food Culinary Institute. Well at least I slept in one once.

Kirsten Powers and Michelle Malkin... Sorry, what the hell are we talking about?

I'm not sure, but I think I can help a little bit.

Michelle: We all know her and love her. She takes no shit from the Lefties. She's their worst nightmare, an articulate Asian female. She's the next best thing to Ann Coulter.

Kirsten: Left of center but not quite as looney as most Democrats are nowadays. She's basically what Dems used to be before they became Marxists.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali was very good. It amazes me that she hasn't been on more often.
Dick Morris reads Hillary like a book. He seems to think it will be Rudy vs. Hillary. I think he's probably correct.

32 Salem  Mon, Feb 5, 2007 5:18:33pm

O'Reilly and Metalacolypse are the only two shows I watch on a daily basis. I don't watch because I think O'Reilly is a pillar of intellect, of course. I just can't stomach anything out there on cable news that's to the right or left of him. He tries to keep a centrist position, even when it makes him look like a fool. And his principles seem to evolve without his acknowledgement. I just sort of facter his neurosis in while I watch. I can work around that better than I could hope to with Matthews and the ilk.

33 DesertSage  Mon, Feb 5, 2007 5:19:26pm

Yep, I love how so many libs do that. They make a statement, and then when they are asked to defend it they want "credentials." If you're going to say something, say it with conviction and expect people to disagree. When they disagree be prepared to defend yourself. Until you can do that, get out of my face. This guy doesn't deserve anyone's respect.

But seriously...

44 dammad  Mon, Feb 5, 2007 5:25:41pm

Laura Ingraham was gettin' on O'Reilly's case today because his show has become a "tabloid"....and I agree. I think he was showboating with this tonight....but was happy to see the bit. Arkin was TOTALLY outed by Malkin. She's awesome! Hopefully O's realizing that his content has been going down hill...time to get back to the basics. On another note....24? Won't say much because of our left coast buddies...but obviously CAIR has gotten to them...and they have truly "jumped the shark". Sad.

45 Mazer  Mon, Feb 5, 2007 5:27:06pm

Arkin is toast. Not because NBC will do anything. Not because The Washington Post will do anything. Not because of outrage from normal Americans over his obscene comments. No, Arkin is going to be tossed aside by the insane left because (did you see in the video) he was using not just one, but TWO SUVs! Gasp! Horror!
Talk about obscene amenities! Plus he was raping GAIA by skiing on her majestic slopes now torn apart by *gasp* diesel tractors made by John Deere or Caterpillar! GLOBAL WARMING! GLOBAL WARMING!

DesertSage, I've been saying for a year now Rudy is a lock. Lots of the Repulican party talking heads have been spewing this nosense about him being unelectable because of his gay-gun-abortions issues. He's the only true leader , in both party's, that is willing to stay strong on terrorism and keep taxes low. I just don't trust Romney or McCain and Newt is aiming for Vice President IMO. Hi and welcome. That's a great article and was recently the subject article here.

73 WrathofG-d  Mon, Feb 5, 2007 5:49:18pm

ARKIN & HIS BOOK:

When veteran military-affairs journalist William Arkin first publicly mentioned "Polo Step" in a 2002 column in the Los Angeles Times, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld was apparently furious and ordered an investigation into the leak. Over 1,000 officials, military personnel, and contractors were ultimately interviewed, and the investigation even had its own code name, "Seven Seekers." Such is the zealousness, Arkin writes in his book Code Names, with which secrecy is protected in the 9/11 world. Arkin, a former U.S. Army intelligence analyst and long-time military commentator for NBC News, has come out with a fascinating retort to Washington's secrecy obsession. His 608-page tome is an encyclopedia of 3,000 U.S. national-security code names, some revealed for the first time, that tell a tantalizing hidden story about the American war on terrorism and operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Y'ALL WILL LOVE THIS:

Arkin has a specific goal. He believes the post-9/11 drive for secrecy has imperiled American security and democracy. Information is often classified, he writes, not because of the danger of passing information to those who would harm the United States, but in order to close down public debate about controversial activities. The intelligence failures that allowed 9/11 to occur, Arkin writes, show that safety is better achieved when the national-security establishment is subjected to oversight and scrutiny

Arrogant much? Sure the Gov thinks this stuff should be secret...but I think its hogwash...I'm Arkin & I know better than that stupid pentagon and bushhitlermonkeychipzioniststealingourrights

Arab, Muslim cultures focus of law-enforcement video

My title: How to be fooled by terrorists 100% of the time

How to handle a Koran when searching luggage "so that it doesn't spark an incident" is addressed, as is how to search someone wearing a turban or Muslim head cover, and how to deal with Sikhs who carry ceremonial daggers.
Although the project began a year ago, the DVD addresses behavior in a recent incident in which six Muslim imams were removed from a flight for disruptive behavior that included loud prayers and another in which 40 Muslim passengers missed a return flight from a pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Ahmed said prayers are required five times a day, and "they should really be left alone unless you think something is about to happen."

McCain is alright. He's definitely a patriot and he wants to win the war on terror.
He's OK for the senate where he's only one of 100, so he can't cause too much damage. He's not presidential material...

Crazy little thing called love

NASA Astronaut Lisa Nowak drove more than 12 hours from Texas to meet the 1 a.m. flight of a younger woman who had also been seeing the astronaut Nowak pined for. Nowak -- who was a mission specialist on a Discovery launch last summer -- was wearing a trench coat and wig and had a knife, BB pistol, and latex gloves in her car, reports show. They also found diapers, which Nowak said she used so she wouldn't have to stop on the 1,000-mile drive. Reports show that after U.S. Air Force Capt. Colleen Shipman's flight arrived, Nowak followed her to the airport's Blue Lot for long-term parking, tried to get into Shipman's car and then doused her with pepper spray.

Koskidz on Malkin....
Is Malkin in bounds? I say "yes." Now for revenge.

Many of us are not going to clean up our presentation so that every discussion that could be quoted, as Malkin did, is crafted to appeal to the median American voter. So, should we stay out of electoral politics? Should people who are serious about being part of electoral politics -- I'm thinking of as campaign staff, but it applies with all the more force to candidates -- be sure to trim their sails here to avoid this sort of treatment?

Somewhere in the Koskidz souls they know they're political poison. They just don't know what to do about it, but it's funny to watch them try.

Was that a clip from "Dodger and Me"?

It was so ironic that the asshole was interrupted by the Fox News reporter while he was on a ski trip. Ah yes, an invigorating sunny day on the slopes followed by a steak dinner and a quiet evening hearth side with a bottle or two of French wine. Then its straight to the laptop to write more vitriol aimed at the mercenaries and their obscene amenities and war crimes.

Now that O'Reilly is on his arse, and Oh my is he ever, this guy's career is done like dinner, its out like a light, its deader than a doorknob, and its unraveling like a cheap sweater. But it will take a couple weeks I'm guessing. Move over Eason Jordan and Mary Mapes. Theres a new idiot in town.

100 Palandine  Mon, Feb 5, 2007 6:22:05pm

Eh, O'Reilly lost me ever since he's been dancing around the Shawn Hornbeck case intimating _something_ about the boy.

We Missourians have really been following the case, as has everyone else, but it sickens me the way O'Reilly's sort of skating up to the edge of accusing Shawn (and Ben Ownby) as being something other than completely innocent victims. When e-mailers call him on it, he gets defensive, but then he won't go into detail about what exactly he's getting at, just saying the case is very strange.

Given the horrible charges that were brought against Devlin today, O'Reilly's behavior is even more repugnant.

I'm deeply conservative, and I used to love O'Reilly, but the bloom was wearing off the rose even before he started getting weird about the Shawn Hornbeck case.

The media has so abandoned the principles of Capitalism that there is no reforming them. They respond to criticism only framed in their alternate reality, without feeling obliged in the slightest to reenforce themselves with facts. After all, the boundless stupidity of the public in distinguishing fact from reality is one of their religious tenants.

There still isn't anything forthcoming about why a kid who had a bazillion opportunities to escape anal-rape four times a day over years, knowing his parents, the police and everyone else was looking for him, would choose not to do so. Wouldn't you? What hold could this twisted creep possibly have had over him, unless the kid figured "Eh, this isn't so bad. I can play vidoe games all day long, at least."? Not that it's important right now, anyway, but O'Reilly is just saying "WTF?". Exactly what I was thinking when the story first came out. The MSM doesn't understand about Christians and Mormons because they are generally atheists. They read a two-bit screed by some Christian who calls Mormonism a "cult" and believe all Christians think that way. Just like they think all Christians don't believe in evolution, or they all love Billy Graham or whatever. In reality, Christians have a lot of practical commonalities with Mormonism. If you didn'tknow Romney was Mormon, you'd think he was Catholic or Baptist. Religious conservatives long ago learned that the ecumenical movement has a lot of very nice side effects- like winning elections.

OT: Breaking news:
Three suspects (two "middle eastern" one "black" (muslim?)) look for "revenge" attack on Guilford College athletes?:

Three intruders entered a dormitory at Guilford College this weekend in search of football players involved in a fight with Palestinian students, but fled when police were called, authorities said.
No arrests were immediately made, police Lt. James Hinson said.
"Threats were made," he said. "But who the threats were directed against and who made them, we can't comment on that."

Five of the football players have already been charged with assault and battery, as well as "ethnic intimidation," North Carolina's formal name for its hate-crimes law. The FBI is also investigating whether the Palestinian students' civil rights were violated. (follow the link for good news, however... a Washington Post poll found that the number of Americans who believe Islam stokes violence has more than doubled – from 14 percent in January 2002 to 33 percent in March 2006)

Perhaps they can get Mike Nifong to prosecute.

Looks like the poor, poor, pitiful (so-called) Palestinian victims called in a revenge attack from their homies. Police are searching for the suspects. May I suggest some places to start looking? Perhaps here? or maybe here?

The Guilford County, NC Islamic Center has spoken out "strongly" against the alleged attacks on the so-called Palistinian students. I won't hold my breath waiting for condemnation on the planned "revenge" attacks. (Interestingly, Badi Ali, president of the Islamic Center of the Triad claims one of the so-called Palistinian students is a Christian.)

Of course, Greensboro has links to the 9/11 attacks and is a well-known hotbed of Muslim terrorst activity.

The so-alled Palistinian students are being represented by Seth R. Cohen (of Smith, James, Rowlett & Cohen, Smith, James, Rowlett & Cohen, L.L.P., PO Box 990 (or 101 South Elm Street, Suite 310) ,Greensboro, NC 27402, 336-274-2992 ). You guessed it... he's an ACLU attorney.
photo and bio here. Graduate from UNC @ Chapel Hill. What a surprise. A quick Google search reveals Mr. Cohen is quite the activist for Islamic causes.

"At the end of the day, we believe the facts will show they were attacked by a group of individuals, and it was an unprovoked attack," says Seth Cohen, the lawyer representing the so-called Palestinian students.

Yeah. I'm sure it will. And maybe they'll discover the Easter Bunny and meet Elvis, too.

Arkin is being paid off by several sources, I am sure. I've heard he came from "Human Rights Watch," not known as a school of journalism. It amazes me that the Wash Post editors would soil their reputation by continuing to employ this guy and give him the military beat, no less. I thought reporters were supposed to be "unbiased." It's clear to me that the Post's articles are all editorials. I'm waiting for them to expand their editorial page to cover the entire rag.

Keep up the good work, bloggers. Keep the pressure up on the Post as well as NBC. I sent in my Letter to the Editor of the Post when this story first was posted on LGF.

He was _11_ when he was kidnapped, at gunpoint, by this digusting animal. If he was too scared, too brainwashed, too traumatized to escape, that in no way chanes the fact that he was a total victim and did nothing wrong.

A woman who wears a short skirt is not uncovered meat who's asking for rape, and a boy who doesn't escape from his kidnapper and rapist is in no way culpable for what was done to him.

I know where you're coming from, because believe me a lot of people are saying the same thing on St. Louis talk radio, but it just completely rubs me the wrong way, and if that's what O'Reilly thinks, he should come out and say so, instead of talking around the edges of the issue and then getting defensive when people e-mail him questining what he's getting at.

From your link:

The debate over the non-binding resolutions on Iraq has turned into the first real skirmish of the new Congress and so far McConnell and the GOP minority are winning this battle. Harry Reid's frustration was evident in his closing statement before the cloture motion went down to defeat. (The vote failed by eleven votes 49-47. To my knowledge not a single Republican voted for cloture. UPDATE: The Senate website has the roll call and Norm Coleman and Susan Collins did vote for cloture. Interestingly Chuck Hagel and John Warner did not.)

Oh dear. So proud, so defiant, so willing to to stand up and take a stand.

He probably shouldn't have said it if only because his left-wing (friends-of-O.J.) media adversaries will hypocritically leverege it against him. But for me, words have a higher threshhold of outrage. I'm going to be far more furious with the rapist than some guy that says "Well, maybe the victim shouldn't have been dressed so provokatively while walking alone through a bad neighborhood at night." And that's pretty close to this situation. At the least, the kid's severly passive attitude is a mystery, and the disgrace would be in not daring to notice.

The msm is in favor of a pullout. They aren't interested in any other point of view. Stick around. You'll see.

Here's what happens when they report on the economy.

The Politics of Bulls and Bears
How Does the U.S. Media Describe the Economy? It Depends on Who's President

Want to get rich in the American stock market? Here's some advice: Don't watch the news.

I'm not being facetious here. One of the iron laws of U.S. news reporting is that the economy gets positive reviews under Democratic presidents and negative reviews under Republican presidents.

In 2004, the Virginia-based Media Research Center (MRC) produced a stark summary of the disparity.

In 1996, Bill Clinton ran for reelection as president. The U.S. economy was doing well at the time: unemployment down to 5.2%, inflation under control at 3%, and overall growth at 2.2%. And the press reported all this good news: According to the 2004 MRC study, 85% of all major economic stories on the economy in the summer of 1996 were positive.

Eight years later, George W. Bush was running for re-election as president. The U.S. economy in 2004 did much better than in 1996: The economy grew at a 3.9% pace, while unemployment and inflation roughly matched their 1996 levels (5.4% and 2.7% respectively). Yet this time, 77% of all major media economic coverage was negative. (For the full report, see [Link: www.mediaresearch.org...]
1020.asp.) And since the 2004 election, the barrage of bad news has continued: reports of housing bubbles, warnings of an imminent collapse in the U.S. dollar, and so on.

The economist John Makin has done some interesting calculations on the consequences of the euphoria of the '90s and the persistent gloom of the '00s. As the economist who most accurately predicted the Japanese stock market crash of the late 1980s, Makin deserves attention when he assesses valuations.

Makin points out that the usual determinants of stock prices are a function of expected corporate profits and interest rates. The more we expect companies to earn, the lower we expect interest rates to be, the more we will pay for a share in a company. Based on this formula, economists calculate a "fair market value" for stocks--a base line around which they expect stocks to trade.

Between 1998 and 2000, the S&P 500 traded at a premium of some 60- 80% above fair market value: Investors, it seems, were making the mistake of believing Bill Clinton's PR--and of course it ended in tears. In the single year 2000, the S&P dropped from almost 1,600 in March to 1,300 by year end. The S&P finally hit bottom at under 800 in the fall of 2002.

Then the recovery began. Investors who disregarded the gloomy Bush-era reports from CBS and The New York Times noticed the rise in corporate profits and the reductions in interest rates. They began to buy and buy and buy--pushing the S&P past 1,400 at year end 2006.

Makin, however, points out that even at 1,400, the S&P remains some 20% below its "fair market value": "If the stocks in the S&P 500 were currently valued as they have been on average over the past 20 years, the index would be at 1,775 instead of 1,420."

Don't take that as a buy signal however. Because now, after the elections of 2006, some very genuine reasons for concern have materialized. ...

Bill Oreilly is a clown who only cares about ratings. Ever since the poll numbers for the Iraq war tanked he's suddenly become a white flag waver to stay popular. His act is gettign old

That has bugged me as well. Especially when we have footage of saddam having his wmd's moved via sattelite. I mean we only have proof he used wmd's against his own people...silence usually follows when I bring that up to liberals. I don't grant to ANYONE that we were wrong about wmd's. We just may not know answers but we can't say they weren't there given that he used them..umm..DUH!

One thing we have to remember, we can't all agree on every single thing. Bill atleast is the front runner (and the only one I might add) that challenges these damn renegade judges who want to make their own law. It's time they were exposed and I think that is key to keeping our democracy alive since our other two branches seem to just let things go unchecked. Geez, someone needs to check it you know.

Also told them that I was writing my Congressmen, for what that will be worth, to see about stopping tax dollars going to GE. Probably nothing will happen, but I feel a little better.

You mean we're a bunch of scruffy no-names?

I'm crushed.

J.D. (#151),

You mean we're a bunch of scruffy no-names?

I can only speak for myself. Yes.

Arkin said that we should not take "soldiers are mercenaries" literally; therefore, we should assume that all professional journalists are illiterate playwrights, literally.

Contemplating selling my GE stock today. But before I do, I will write a letter to GE's board asking why people like Arkin are allowed on my payroll? Should have done that last week.

I'd like our one of our gutless Senators to stand on the floor of the Senate and condemn this "article" personally reminding GE that maybe next year we would need to find somebody else for the military contracts.

If a Congressman would simply say that, Arkin would be gone in a NY second.

I saw it last night. O'Reilly was real good. Most amusing, they even did an ambush interview with Arkin and the coward said nothing and left. Besides his viciousness, if Arkin is not prepared to justify his spleen, why does WaPo have him on as a commentator (even if his treasonous views are in accord with theirs)?

Michelle Malkin pointed out that Arkin lost his cool and did his diatribe because NBC let slip in a report that this we support the troops and oppose the war is disengenous.

"There's no need to fear; Underzog is here!"

I am wondering about the conversations Arkin has with his kids.
"Daddy, aren't the troops to defend and protect us."
"Kid, they are mean and nasty and hurt people."
"Daddy, what if we were attacked and we needed them to help us."
"Kid, well then they would be doing what we pay them."
"Daddy, can the soldiers kids go on nice ski trips, too?"
"Kid, get your Norkiacs out of the Range Rover."

I don't always agree with Bill O'Reilly, but that is an excellent "talking points memo" segment. Thank you, Charles.

I'm not a big fan of Bill O. But I must give him credit. Go after this guy Bill and don't let up!

O'Rielly is right .It has simply gone to far this time.Quislings must be dealt with

162 Daisy  Tue, Feb 6, 2007 6:18:05am

The Left's "Support" of our troops has nothing to do w/support and everything to do with condescension. The Left despises the military for the same reason they have contempt of Wal-mart - they find both déclassé.

Of course, I find the severe Left déclassé - but that's because they are beneath my contempt.

163 wanumba  Tue, Feb 6, 2007 6:40:50am

O'Rielly gave Arkin what he deserved and it was rich watching a Leftie get the same ambush treatment his side has been dishing out for lesser offenses.
However, review the article. Arkin slams the volunteer military in an attempt to soften up the audience to a return of the Draft. Please, go back and read it. That's why he wrote it. It's a denigration of the volunteer military in favor of a Draft. This is not fantasy. Associated Press releases weekly, sometimes daily something for every hometown paper in the US on how the volunteer army isn't up to the task. It's too small, it's too mercenary, recruiting isn't being met, soldiers are being overstressed, overworked, over deployed, atrocities, lack of equipment, depressed, oversexed, undersexed WHATEVER! All are exaggerations or fabrications designed to put the volunteer military in the worse possible light. ALWAYS, there is some suggestion that a Draft would solve all these problems.
Arkin just got too lurid in his attack on the military so his purpose to carry water for Rangel and Clinton on bringing back a Draft, updated as an universal male/female Draft and mandatory National Service got overlooked. Still, it serves the Left's purpose - keep fertilizing the field until public opinion is manipulated enough to be receptive to the idea.

164 jackfetch  Tue, Feb 6, 2007 8:04:43am

Wanumba, you can't convince me that the "bring back the draft" movement on the far left is anything but at best another step in the attempt to recreate Viet Nam because it was the moment in time that defined them, and at worst a set-up for what they hope will be a complete end to the standing army of the United States.

They firmly believe that Americans cannot countenance a draft, the argument that the draft creates a better armed forces is nothing more than a ploy... because they don't WANT better armed forces, they want none. So, if a draft were put in place, then they could moan and bewail about the numbers... reduce reduce reduce... and ultimately hand the Pentagon over to the Peace Corps and relocate the most costly ex-president's office ever from New York to there.

165 jackfetch  Tue, Feb 6, 2007 8:14:27am

Hey!

Brainstorm!

If the lefts really want a draft... why not go to a mandatory service a la Switzerland or Israel? Everyone serves for two years... however, not just the military.

Let's oust the union-dominated government employees and replace them all with a drafted force. Imagine the workforce of the bureaucratic nightmare our government has become reflecting the people they supposedly serve...

And replace the whole social welfare system with the one they started in the Depression... the WPA. If vast numbers of people are going to live on the taxpayer's dime, they should at least build some stuff... dams, freeways, heck, the world's largest toothpick sculpture would be something.

It was great seeing snArkin being confronted by the Fox reporter. I love seeing those holier-than-thou "journalists" given the same treatment they inflict on others. It just eats at them that the pedestals on which they place themselves aren't high enough to keep them from the great unwashed.

167 RobCon  Wed, Feb 7, 2007 11:22:11am

I do not watch Bill O'Reilly often but he is the only well known figure in TV news to come out and name and shame those in the elite big media. That takes courage and I salute him for saying what needed to be said.
