-RetweetThe Six-Word Motto Contest

Wed, Feb 6, 2008 at 6:26:46 pm PST

The New York Times’ Freakonomics “blog” is having a little contest: A Six-Word Motto for the U.S.?

Imagine my surprise to find that out of almost 700 comments, the vast majority are competing for the most downbeat, defeatist, self-hating motto possible. It’s kind of amazing how much negativity can be crammed into six words.

Here’s a thread for the lizard army to post our own six-word mottos. I think we might be able to do a little better than the NYT’s mostly moonbat audience.

Compare Electricity Prices in your area. Texas Electricity is deregulated; you have the right to choose Texas Electric Rates from among many Texas Electric Companies.

Why not?
