Idiotic Nutroots Scandal of the Day - Update: Now with Throbbing Obama!

Yes, the Daily Kos Kooks are now accusing Hillary Clinton of “darkening” an image of Barack Obama that appears in a video posted at the Clinton site: Nutroots accuse Hillary of darkening footage of Obama to make him look “blacker”.

Here’s the Kos diary, with more than 800 comments from the super sleuths: Daily Kos: [updated] Hillary’s ad: debate footage doctored to make Obama blacker.

What I see in these pictures is the typical color alteration that happens from transferring and copying video segments, which also accounts for the aspect ratio changes; different equipment, different software, different video sources. The color isn’t darkened, it’s desaturated, and I doubt very much that it’s deliberate. They’re comparing colors from low resolution processed video, seen on a computer screen. The idiocy makes my head hurt.

Oh, brother.

It’s another nutroots mass delusion. But they’re so cute when they’re all worked up like that! No, wait... actually, they aren’t.
