Rick Scott: ‘Obama’s Mosque’
Just a little more blatant fear mongering and outright lies, from the Republican Party’s candidate for governor of Florida, Rick Scott. Subtly titled: “Obama’s Mosque.”

Do they expect some kind of extraordinary and almost certainly illegal intervention from another level of government?

The ‘Atlas says that Barack Obama is Malcolm X’s love child’ charge has gone viral among leftards and lizards. The only problem with it is that it is false. I am not the author of this post, and I posted it because the writer did a spectacular job documenting Obama’s many connections with the Far Left. The Malcolm X claim is one minor part of this story, and was of interest to me principally as part of the writer’s documentation that Stanley Ann Dunham could not have been where the Obama camp says she was at various times. I do not believe that Barack Obama is Malcolm X’s love child, and never did — but there remain many, many unanswered questions about his early life and upbringing.”It’s the same thing with the birth certificate. I was only writing about it when Obama’s published Certification of Live Birth was shown to be a forgery, and many readers were exploring various scenarios and possibilities. To claim that this is some central preoccupation of my work shows that Politico has been reading Leftist hate sites about my work, not my work itself.

15 Men Arrested in Undercover Child Sex Sting in Florida
When the suspects arrived at the undercover location, they were met not by children wearing lingerie, but by undercover agents in vests, who placed the men under arrest.
“It’s still a shock to me …when we have a predator show up with condoms in one hand and candy bars in the other hand,” Judd said at a press conference Monday afternoon.
Judd said one of the agents was shocked to discover that a suspect, 33-year-old Tommy Dupre, had been his son’s former baseball coach.
“This gentleman coached youth sports baseball in Lakeland. Our undercover sergeant recognized him because he coached his son 8-10 years of age,” Judd said.
The suspects range in age from 18 to 67. Six of the suspects, including Cashen, are married, and one has six children of his own and one on the way, Judd said.
Cashen’s wife was shocked to hear the news of her husband’s arrest, Judd said, and told police, “He can rot in hell before I bond him out of jail.”
The wife of Kevin Scott, 35, had similar sentiments, telling police, “I never want to see him again, I don’t want my children see him again, I hope he rots in jail for life.”

It’s also not just in New York. There were three different sites where people died on 9/11 — the WTC, the Pentagon, and that field in PA where the passengers brought down the plane. Why everyone continues to focus on the WTC alone is beyond me. It’s like we’ve forgotten that people died elsewhere that day, too.
Then again, I suppose the anti-Muslim bigots and the cynical assholes at Fox News have to ignore the Pentagon, which already has its own mosque inside the building, since it’s a military site, and the fields in PA don’t seem to matter to these people for some reason.

American Muslim Leaders Visit Concentration Camps to Learn About Holocaust, Pay Respects to Victims
Several U.S. government officials also joined the group, including Rashad Hussain, special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, and Hannah Rosenthal, the State Department’s special envoy to monitor and combat anti-Semitism, the Forward reported.
Berger told the paper that the heartfelt comments of the delegates — some of which have made previous statements that many Jews view as problematic — show the trip was a valuable experience in promoting education, understanding and maybe even change.
Mohamed Magid, imam and executive director of the Washington area mega-mosque All Dulles Area Muslim Society, is now preparing an article for the Muslim magazine Islamic Horizons on Holocaust denial.
“No Muslim in his right mind, female or male, should deny the Holocaust,” Magid, a native of Sudan, told the Forward. “When you walk the walk of the people who have been taken to be gassed, to be killed, how can a person deny physical evidence, something that’s beyond doubt?”
Former Holocaust denier Yasir Qadhi, the dean of academics at Al Maghrib Institute in New Haven, Conn., said the trip was eye-opening.
“Anybody who is a Holocaust denier should deserve a free ticket to see Auschwitz and Birkenau,” he told the Jewish Daily Forward, “because seeing is just not the same as reading about it.”

Sentiment may or may not get changed, but once the mosque is built, it’ll at worst be largely forgotten about.
If people start pulling stupid shit like staging protests at it constantly, it’ll backfire.

It’s a demanding activist name:
Mohsen has previously faced arrest for her activism. According to The Daily Reporter, in January of 2009, Mohsen faced prosecution for trespassing during a sit-in at the Michigan office of Senator Levin. She was part of a group of students who were trying to get into contact with the senator.
Mohsen told the MSU State-News newspaper the group wanted to present demands to the senator, which included having the U.S. take steps toward cutting off military, economic and diplomatic support for Israel and calling for an international investigation of Israeli war crimes.

The first in a series of videos transforming conservative writing on sex into softcore erotica. Uses 100% actual quotes from Glenn Beck’s book.
You have to see it to believe it.
5 Steps to Writing Successful Suspense (With Glenn Beck!)
The Lesson:
Make Your Mystery Difficult to Follow
Your reader is not stupid, so a simple mystery, or a traditional mystery, or even a mystery that makes sense on a basic level of human comprehension is just too easy. The trick is to craft a shadowy organization whose methods are so bizarre, it’s never clear what exactly they stand for. And make sure their master plan is as convoluted and impossible-to-implement as imaginable (taking over America based solely on the success of your admittedly impressive pet rock sales). If your reader believes your mystery, it means it was too predictable.Plot Ideas:
-A top secret organization (formerly Mattel), wants to replace all American soldiers with robots whose only setting is GAY-SEX MARRIAGE.
-The creative force behind of Pokemon eats the current president to gain his powers and assumes that this makes him the new president, based on a very shaky understanding of the American political system. And the twist: It was you! (Either the Pokemon guy or the president. It doesn’t even matter!)
-The inventor of those novelty bow ties that spin when you squeeze a button infiltrates the Vatican to pose as the Pope. He serves in an advisory capacity for the president for several years until something something something concentration camps.
-The creator of Beanie Babies fucks a capuchin monkey live on stage. America crumbles

Hello troll. There are quite a few of you arguing about how American you are and how much you love the Constitution. So I would really love to ask why you think it is even remotely appropriate for lawmakers and wannabe lawmakers to be so opposed to both the First and Tenth Amendments by opposing the rights of Americans to worship freely on privately owned land under a local jurisdiction that has approved the project?
I can understand how rank and file ignoramouses can get whipped up into blind hatred that must condemn all members of a group, guilty and innocent alike, but they are not in, or seeking office.

re: #151 LudwigVanQuixote
Usually people who come out with cries of anti-white racism, on a thread about white bigotry against non-white Americans, is making quite a few statements.
If I am wrong that you do not support efforts to halt the mosque, and you feel that these politicians are in violation of American principles, please say so.
The Mosque/Community Center and it’s construction are supported by the Constitution of the United States of America. I support the rights of Muslim-American citizens to worship wherever they would like and that includes this Mosque. I apologize if these quotes don’t come out correctly as I am not familiar with the tools here yet.

Great! So if that is the case, how do you feel about the politicians who are obviously running on the idea of denying those constitutional rights to other Americans, and how does that relate to their legitimacy as potential lawmakers in your opinion?

As far as I understand it, the issue the 9th circuit will decide is if those Prop 8 supporters can go any farther in their legal battle. The problem is that the State of California would normally be the one suing, not an interest group, but the Governator won’t support the Prop 8 proponents and sue.

Rick Scott is an idiot. So he will probably win the Republican nomination.
I registered as a Republican at the Tea Party rally in Tampa this past April 15th, but they must auto-reject any party switch (I was formerly registered as NPA) by anyone under the age of 50, because I never got a new voter card. So unfortunately, I don’t believe I can vote against him. Not that the other guy is someone to champion, but he’s slightly less retarded than Rick “I’ll sell the state airplane because I got rich ripping off Medicare and have a fleet of my own” Scott.
