Palin Family Brawl Report Released: Bristol and Track “Heavily Intoxicated” and “Out of Control”

Drunk and violent
Wingnuts • Views: 31,407

OK folks, here’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for, the official police report on that massive drunken brawl involving the entire Palin clan at a party in Anchorage last September — and it’s as trashy and lurid as a Jerry Springer episode.

Officers talked to a witness, Brian Horscel, who said that earlier in the evening he had seen yet another altercation involving the Palins. He almost tried to stop it, he told the police, until he realized who was involved

From the report: “He said that earlier he did see Track trying to start a fight with his dad, Todd, and he was about to step in until he found out that it was Todds (sic) son that was trying to fight him.”

“I screwed your mom last night.”
“Shut up Dad.”

Click bait ahoy!

No Jim, what she said was…

“We had one case and I think there may be other cases, and I think we have to recognize that as a nation,” Burwell said at a media breakfast hosted by the journal Health Affairs and held at the Washington, D.C. offices of the Kaiser Family Foundation.

She expressed confidence in the screening process that has already been in place in travelers’ departure cities, but acknowledged that no such system is 100 percent.

“The most important place with regard to taking care of screening is actually at the point of departure,” she said. “And that’s been in place for many months and as we know, we have a case. That case sadly is deceased. But for many months, we did not have a case that entered the country. And we know that that screening has worked in the sense of 80 people have been pulled from the lines in the screening and stopped in the home country. And that’s the most important place to do that.”

“I think there may be other cases” was obviously meant in the future tense in this statement you dolt.

Yeah I had concerns about his name too but he ran a remarkable campaign and was a ray of light after the Bush years while McCain really was more of the same (and then he selected Palin). I was glad to vote for him the first time, kinda mixed on the second but he’s definitely been better than what we’ve had in the past despite the attempts by the right to destroy him and his presidency.

The first rule of Palin Fight Club is…it’s always somebody else’s fault that there’s Palin Fight Club.

The second rule of Palin Fight Club is…it’s always somebody else’s fault that there’s Palin Fight Club.

The third rule of Palin Fight Club is…actually, this is a sign of down-home country values, not a roving band of pseodu-celeb asswipes getting in people’s faces.

Actually, seriously it was his speech at the Dem convention in 2004. I had just gotten home from work, plopped down on the sofa and turned on the TV. There was this guy I’d never heard of already a few seconds onto his speech. He sat me straight up saying “who IS this guy?!” By the end of his speech, I told my then boyfriend that this was our future president.

There’s actually a quote in the report where the homeowner said he was pretty sure a woman had taped it. Then, in the followup interview, the same guy said that no one had taken pictures or video.

I get the feeling that one witness losing his job for talking to Good Morning America sent the message loud and clear that anyone who came forth with video would be subjected to Palin-influenced hell.

True story. When I first started going to Alaska, before I moved there, I couldn’t believe how widespread hard drug use was. By doctors, lawyers, it seemed like everyone.
I had just come back to Alaska for a second time, and gotten into a cab that was being driven by a sweet, little, old man. He asked me how I liked Anchorage, and I said, “it’s great, but the drugs are really bad here” He said “Yeah, they’re not a good quality!”

To this day, I remember verbatim how the NYT started their story of the election results.

Here is how it looks from far away: tens of millions of white christians, voting freely, chose as their leader a black man of modest origin, the son of a muslim. There is a place in this world — call it America — where such a thing can happen.

And I still get a little tingle over it.

I was reading an old year book that belonged to my Alaska husbands oldest sister. it was from 1965 and the king of the prom was a white guy and the queen of the prom was a black girl who were boyfriend and girlfriend. I said, you guys must be baffled when you go down to some of the lower 48 states and see all the racism. He said “it’s a little weird, yes”.

I totally believe that. As my aunt, (the bar owner who moved there with her husband looking for gold in about 1940) said, most everyone there was running away or hiding from something/someone. “We need each other and don’t ask questions here.” The most generous Live and Let Live attitude I ever saw. I love that.

Todd is, I believe, has some Yup’ik blood through his grandmother, Blanche Roberts Palin. It’s never been established exactly whether she is full blooded or not. They simply like to tout what you wrote about Todd for cred.

I have a maternal great-grandmother who was full blooded Cherokee, but I’m a blue-eyed blonde. Intermarriage between whites and natives was not unusual anywhere in the country 100 yrs ago or more.

In AK, if you have very little Native Alaskan blood, you can participate in their benefits. It’s one way that whites have succeeded so well in manipulating so much for themselves, including natural resources and other means of wealth and also the corruption of the culture of Native Alaskans.

There is a lot of intermarriage between non natives and Natives and Eskimo (Native Indian and Eskimo are considered two separate people there). Todd, I believe is an Alaska Native corporate descendant. And most of the Alaska Natives I know, do not define themselves in terms of blood quantum.
And the issue in regards to Alaska and race, compared to the lower 48 and race issues (that ones for you dog philosopher ;)) is very different. I also find the Alaskans to be much more willing to face and deal with these problems much more than in the lower 48.
However, I have heard, that in the last several years there has been a growing white supremacist presence, that have either moved there or have been indoctrinated. However, their racism seems to be directed towards blacks and Hispanics.

Basically, the White-Native American relationship, though no less tragic, is very different than the White-Black relationship. And the racism between white and Native is very different than the racism between White and Black.

Libertarians want to live tax-free in the society that everyone else’s taxes paid for, with roads, airports, police, fire fighters, water, sewer, public health, an educated populace, old people not dying under bridges, sick people not dying in the streets, etc. They want to believe their system of individual greed would somehow add up to societal benefit, but they can’t provide any evidence this would actually happen.

Humorous little gaffe story from R.V. Jones book on scientific intelligence efforts during WWII, “The War Wizards”…

“Ultra” intercepts and other intelligence sources rightly convinced Winston Churchill that the Germans were working on a plan for the invasion of England. Because of the intercepts the codename for the plan was known to be operation Sealion.

Churchill was always very security conscious about information obtained via “Ultra” so he forbid any further use of the name Sealion. He directed that all future reports should refer to it as “Operation Smith” instead. The intelligence services duly complied and henceforth sent all reports to the War Office under the heading Operation Smith.

Weeks passed and the intelligence people at Bletchley began to wonder why the War Office had seemed to lose all interest in their reports. Inquiries were finally made and it was discovered that the War Office already had an Operation Smith on the books. The other Operation Smith concerned the relocation of a minor War Office administrative Headquarters in Stroud in the event of a German invasion.

The result was that when Bletchley’s reports were received by the War Office they were immediately sent to the Colonel in charge of the H.Q. in Stroud. The Colonel was no doubt impressed by the service he was receiving from the War Office in keeping him informed as to German invasion plans. Thankfully he had realized that the material was too secret for general circulation, kept the reports locked in his safe, and told no one.

Just thought some of our WWII buffs might enjoy the tale…

Libertarians are little more than spoiled, greedy, majority-age people who will never accept real responsibility. The philosophy appeals to that side of them, bringing it to prominence in their lives.

I just hope they don’t have kids, because then they become anti-vaxxer, home schooling, prepper types who as you say, want to be able to still take advantage of all the infrastructure out there that they don’t want to pay for, while they teach their kids that being anti-social is the way to live their lives.

When they fail, you know they’ll reach for that safety net. Even Ayn Rand collected SS and Medicare.

Yeah, but not quite for them (even 19 kids x $1500 is only $28.5K), since a couple are married themselves and starting on their ginormous broods.

But you can bet they take whatever deductions they can weasel from taxes, and don’t report the many gifts, volunteer time, and donations you know they receive.

I expect their “show” isn’t their only income, as well. Isn’t he in real estate or something?

John McCain is alive and well to this day, but there is no knowing what the stress of the presidency might have done to him.

We well and truly dodged a bullet in ‘08.

At first I thought, “She might have grown into the job.”

Then I remember what Harry Truman once said about Potomac Fever.

Some people come to Washington and grow into the job. Others come here and just swell up. The ones that swell up have Potomac Fever.

This incident showed that Palin, and family, didn’t even have to come to Washington to swell up.

How to be an epic level white lady:

Jody Westby, a resident and lawyer, rushed to Stucky’s defense, angrily telling the officers that Stucky had been a neighborhood fix-it man for 30 years and that they were not at the right house. The officers reluctantly freed Stucky, who lives in Southeast and said he feels he was stopped “because I’m black.” Westby’s housekeeper recorded much of the encounter on video.

Learning that the officers had been called to the 4600 block of Foxhall Crescent, Westby informs them that they were in the 4500 block. Although seemingly close, the streets are not linked. The subdivisions are circular in pattern, and to reach the 4600 block from where the officers were parked requires making three turns on four streets. On foot, the route between the homes is more direct.

On the recording, much of what the female officer says is inaudible, but she points to Stucky’s bags, and Westby said the officer noted that as probable cause for the stop.

Westby, who also is a cybersecurity consultant, said the male officer in the car told her that Stucky was free to go. The video shows the lawyer walking over to Stucky and helping him up. “Come on, Dennis. He says you can go,” she says. The female officer puts out her hand and says “Stop,” while moving close to them. Westby ignores her.

Progress depends on acts like this, people with privilege using it to step up and combat the effects of institutional racism.

Some years ago, I was in front of a hangar at the Mojave Airport in California and heard a low rumbling noise in the distance. I looked up and spotted a tiny blue object just above the runway. Almost before I could breathe, the blue object loomed up with seemingly impossible suddenness and the rumble rose to a shattering roar. It screamed by about 10 feet from the pavement, barely a hundred yards away, then pulled up and climbed away into the distance. It was a restored F-4U Corsair, and was doing, in my estimation, around 350mph. I never did find out who was flying or who the plane belonged to.

Oh crap I think I’m having my first ever old fart moment. Just saw a commercial for Dominos pizza. Bragging about a voice app to take your pizza order.

What is it about hipster/millennial culture that celebrates dealing with a crappy machine instead of a real person? Are those same millennial gen folks all about keeping people employed?

You mean as compared to trying to talk to someone whose sitting in the pizza place with all the machines and talking going on around the employee? At least this device won’t require anyone to actually pick up the phone. As for people being employed, no pizza place hires someone just to answer phones.

Just about every bit of honest reporting from Alaska since McCain’s horrible lapse in judgement in 2008 has been completely consistent with Sarah Palin as a grifter and basically a low-life.

The brawl is simply a small (but entertaining) bit of confirmation for this.

Their happiness truly pisses off democrats and that is the best part.

I seriously doubt they’re all that happy. There’s alcohol problems with the kids, out-of-wedlock pregnancies, and where’s Trigg? Oh yeah, he’s not politically expedient anymore. The whole family is despised in Alaska. I see a dysfunctional family. If you truly think they’re a very happy family, you’ve bought their reality TV personas hook line and sinker.

And believe me, I take no pride in seeing the Palin’s self-destruct like that, especially with two very young children caught in the middle (Trigg and Bristol’s son Tripp).

You conflated millennial culture with a Dominos’ culture. Strike one. They don’t watch commercial TV (as much.) As the hipsters, in my famous hipster area they have opened/frequent many artisan and craft pizza joints and use the ipad technology to simplify the cash register/ordering. There’s like not a Dominos for miles around me but dozens of local joints.

Okay you can play on my lawn.

Right, I gotta separate hipster and millennial. Hipster buys organic, artisan. sustainable. Millennial has voice operated game console changing channels, the actual remote requires too much physical effort. The Dominos crowd.

Pretty much. As a Gen Xer, I will generally defend the Millennial crowd from standard generational gripes generally. But I will jump to defend the hipster crowd. They are only young subgroup that seems interested in and today-influenced by stuff my version of what my generation was about.

Looks like CBS’ Major Garrett, Fox’s Wendel Goler & NBC’s Kristen Welker. It sounded like they were mostly joking.

I don’t have much faith in the current crop of mainstream journalists, so if any of them truly are that over-the-top terrified and personally want travel bans, I’d definitely expect them to be unprofessional enough for it to influence their coverage.

Um, a night out celebrating a big event does not an alcohol problem make.

And in what world do 2 happy grandkids illustrate an unhappy situation? Are you ready to insult millions of people?

What do you mean ‘where’s Trig?” He’s in kindergarten. He’s a happy boy who, according to his older brother, only “knows love and happiness.”

I wouldn’t judge for one and I certainly wouldn’t judge people I don’t know, especially from an overhyped, overdramatic single event.

ALL her kids have jobs. The other two are happily in school.

I don’t see how someone who doesnt know them can say anyone’s self-destructing. Isn’t that a bit mental? It’s been A MONTH and no one of worth to them even thinks about this.

I did just see Bristol and her son at the skate park recently.

You just proved my point in saying all people who dont know them do is make stuff up.

the fact that she craps on large segments of decent hardworking american society regularly and with venom, not to mention that she is public figure who was once a governor and the vice presidential candidate of a major political party, make her fair game for any criticism of her behavior, which, in this case as the police report makes clear, was degrading and unworthy

since when are politicians immune to criticism in this country? answer me that if you please!
