New Program on Wingnut TV: Proof That Only Leftists Can Be Racists

A devastating exposé for the easily devastated
Wingnuts • Views: 26,940

Lately, the Wingnut TV Brigade has been working overtime. Earlier this week we had wacko anti-choice fanatic Lila Rose and her fake ‘sting’ video of Planned Parenthood - released after Planned Parenthood officials had already reported to the FBI that they suspected they were being set up by Rose and her fundamentalist cronies.

In the latest episode of Wingnut TV (featured on Glenn Beck’s Comedy Hour today), we find right wing videographer Christian Hartsock at a Common Cause demonstration against the Koch Brothers in Palm Springs, where he blatantly encourages people to say extreme things, giggling, playing along, and enthusiastically agreeing. And sure enough, he finds two or three chuckleheads who oblige him by saying dumb things. The first idiot in this video looks like he might be drunk - perfect for a Wingnut TV sting.

Youtube Video

What is this supposed to prove? Well, I think Pamela “Shrieking Harpy” Geller says it best:

Only on the left, my friends, only on the left. [Snort. – ed.] The left is destroying this country. [I thought it was the Ground Zero Islamic supremacist stealth jihad mega mosque. – ed.] Never have we seen anything remotely like this on the right. [Nope, never. – ed.] Millions in the tea party, never. [Never, never never, uh uh. – ed.] It would be shocking if it weren’t typical of the left wing barbarians who have seized control of the media, the culture, the government.

Oh, no … never ever ever have we seen such a thing on the right or in the Tea Party! The desperation with which the right searches for something, anything to cast blame on others for their own worst failings is almost touching.

It must suck to hate so many of your fellow Americans like that. And honestly, Geller comes across like any historical dictator ranting about their scapegoat group of choice.

I watched that earlier. I couldn't say for sure but that might have been a trained driver following procedure. I know it seems callous but that's a situation that could result in kidnapping or assassinate. It also might just be a panicked driver. I don't know for sure.

Interesting. I thought for sure Common Cause would be some radical leftist group but....

Common Cause is a nonpartisan, nonprofit citizens' lobby and advocacy organization.[1] The organization was founded in 1970 by Republican former cabinet secretary under Lyndon Johnson John W. Gardner with a mission focused on making U.S. political institutions more open and accountable

If I were going to rationalize what that driver did I would say that he should not have turned onto a street full of enraged protesters. Otherwise, I'm not going to attempt to find a justification for running over 20 people in a crowded street. He was obviously not the Secret Service so going that route is quite a voyage into the unknown.

Honestly, this is par for the course for what I've been hearing for years. I've had people tell me in all seriousness that only liberals are racist because Lincoln freed the slaves. And the meme about only Democrats being racist because people like George Wallace were Dems is a strong one here in the South.
