Correct. The 25th Amendment is intended to give the government a safeguard in case a President has a legitimate mental and/or physical breakdown requiring a hand-off of power to the Vice President. The Election is certified valid at all levels.
Thus, ANY federal agency refusing to IMMEDIATELY and fully comply with the orderly transition of power to Joe Biden and his administration MUST be investigated and those responsible tried for sedition and insurrection up to and including the current shitbag President of the United States.
I donāt give a damn if itās a Cabinet Secretary or a some lowly supply gofer who hid the toner cartridges, if theyāre dragging their feet or impeding transfer of power in even the slightest manner, they need to have the hammer dropped on their goddamn heads to the maximum extent allowed by law, up to and including long, long prison sentences at hard labor.
I mostly especially include the goddamned generals in this as well.
Any attitude, ANY reluctance, any foot dragging or bureaucratic bullshit that these Pentagon fuckers are so damn good at, anything other than full, immediate compliance and an enthusiastic YES, SIR! in support of the civilian transfer of power, so much as a roll of the eyes, should result in an immediate court martial and prison. These sons of bitches need to be brought firmly to heel. They need to start leading by PERSONAL example or be removed from the service. NO EXCEPTIONS.
So long as Iām on this subject, if you insist on the title āGeneralā or āAdmiralā or āColonelā or āCaptainā after youāve left or retired from service, then you should be held to the full laws and authority of the UCMJ. I.e. if you insist on calling yourself GENERAL Flynn, then you should be held accountable under the full obligations of that title. Or donāt use it, ever.
Any member of the government, in uniform or out, who puts ideology and political party above duty, the law, and their oath needs to be purged from service without mercy or delay.

The election has to be certified, which shouldnāt take long, since they both won by a big enough margin not to trigger an automatic recount. It only works in states with large minority populations and growing urban centers with educated populations. The GOP has a death grip on the declining, heavily white, uneducated rural states. But Texas is coming into our sights, and if we can turn Texas blue, thatās a death sentence for the GOP.

Particularly on a day when the agenda is certifying the election and ensuring the peaceful transfer of power. I would think that would go to motive at the insurrectionistsā trials.
Precisely. The entire intent was to ensure that Trump remained as President and to prevent the orderly transfer of power. Just because no one was wearing a uniform or that there wasnāt a detailed plan in place doesnāt change the underlying fact that they were trying to overthrow the govāt and install Trump as President, election results be damned.

And yes, I know Walshās point is that the cops themselves didnāt kill BLM protesters (*citation needed*), but the cops were gladhanding with Rittenhouse and let him walk right on by after killing people.
It also glosses over the fact that the Capitol Hill police opened the gates for the insurrectionists to enter the building. It also glosses over that the Capitol resembled a scene from V for Vendetta in anticipation of BLM protests, while security yesterday was at a level whose most charitable explanation involves Hanlonās Razor. It glosses over the fact that cops were taking selfies with insurrectionists inside the building and that the vast majority of people were simply allowed to walk away.
Last but not least, no BLM protesters were armed and invading a federal building. I still donāt fully know the circumstances of the shooting, but she was in the midst of an armed incursion into the Capitol building. Thatās the kind of shit causes LEO to start firing. A fair chunk of time, BLM protesters were getting run down, beaten, maced, etc. by police with tactical gear. People arenāt always going to sit back and take a boot to the chest.

One of the arguments that Lincoln Project made for not working within the national DNC is that it takes to long to get anything done. On their own, they could have an ad out slamming a politician before s/he was even done with their speech. I think that one of the reasonās that Stacey has been so effective is that she can call the shots without having to deal with a huge bureaucracy. I wish her well for whatever office she wants to run for, but I hope she doesnāt become anything more than a well-heeded consultant for the DNC. Fair Fight can go national on itās own.
