YouTube Promotes Evil

Thu, Jul 12, 2007 at 8:16:54 pm PDT

This evil scumbag has been granted “director” status on YouTube: YouTube - Daniel Pearl I Am Happy You Are Dead :)

I would say “shame on YouTube,” but by now it’s pretty clear where they stand on issues like this.

UPDATE at 7/13/07 8:10:42 am:

Correction: several readers emailed to say that YouTube no longer “grants” director status; you choose it yourself in your profile settings. The point still stands; I know for a fact that the video has been flagged as objectionable many, many times—and it remains posted.

I am now convinced there is a concerted effort to undermine and slow bleed the United States of America. It reminds me of something I heard once from a friend about a Soviet operation that infiltrated the academic layer of the US, and used it to corrupt the intellectual base of America. If that was truly the case, it may have worked far better then they ever possibly imagined. I could be wrong though. ***Channeling Joseph McCarthy***

Economic pressure can help, boycotting sponsors. But that weapon can fire both ways too.

If (operative word) I as a white guy did a similar video saying I enjoyed, say, watching the prisoners at Abu Ghraib being mistreated (NOTE: They were NOT tortured, nor were they MURDERED!), I suspect my video would be flagged and yanked so fast my head would spin.

This video brings tears to my eyes. It's hard to find words for what I'm feeling, but ...

I've seen hate videos before -- so I expected something angrier, more mocking, with more passion. This guy was so casual, so matter-of-fact, as if he was discussing something very everyday, like the weather. And he repeatedly says he doesn't favor such action, but, oh well, if someone else does it ...

And then he can watch the beheading while eating popcorn, and then go out for ice cream -- it's the mindset of someone who has completely classified part of the human race as non-human. I don't want to feel like that -- but how am I supposed to think about someone so filled with evil that his humanity seems completely lost?

78 MandyManners  Thu, Jul 12, 2007 8:54:44pm

Google being sued by an Australian agency.

SYDNEY (AFP) - Australia's consumer watchdog said Thursday it had launched a world-first court action accusing Internet giant Google of misleading web users by misidentifying sponsored links on its search engine.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) said it wanted Google to stop publishing search results that fail to distinguish between paid advertisements and "organic" search results.

The ACCC said the case arose in 2005 when Google's search engine listed two car dealerships from the New South Wales city of Newcastle as sponsored links, which are paid for by companies to attract Internet users.

However, the links fed through to the website of a rival to the dealerships, the classifieds magazine "Trading Post", which competes with them for automotive sales.

"The ACCC is alleging that Google, by failing to adequately distinguish sponsored links from 'organic' search results, has engaged in and continues to engage in misleading and deceptive conduct," the regulator said in a statement.

Disgusting! This monster takes advantage of our American freedoms to spout his self-righteous hatred and evil. Israel's killing of the arch-terrorist leader Yassin, who was directly responsible for the deaths of hundreds, is justification for yet another murder of an innocent Jewish civilian?! And he laughs in our faces, knowing that he will never be arrested and accused of a crime in our country. Dare anyone to say such things about a muslim in any of the islamic hell-hole countries, though...

81 Spiny Norman  Thu, Jul 12, 2007 8:55:12pm

re: #70 wvobiwan

The leftist are not only not concerned with our survival, they've got I think a bona-fide death wish. I don't get it all, except that in NYC most Manhattanites are actually from somewhere else. The rich lefties have two or more residences, and don't actually stay in Manhattan much. However, go out to the boroughs, and there are a lot more people who get it.

It's not so much a death wish as that they hate their political "enemies" so much, they don't care if they go down, as long as the "Repukes" are wiped out.

Dishonesty, naivety, fear and stupidity.

83 Arashi  Thu, Jul 12, 2007 8:55:33pm

I didn't watch the video. I don't want to turn the sound on on my computer (I always forget to turn it off, then get scared by it when my computer boots back up, ack).

However, I did read through the comments. Part of me wonders if this is both a revelation of how this one man feels, as well as something he is doing to make people say hateful, rather violent things about Muslims in general (as well as him) in order to "prove" that there is Islamophobia in the world. I don't think it's "a conspiracy" like he apparently thinks Daniel Pearl was with the "evil Jews"...but I do wonder of his own motivations.

The most amusing thing is his refusal to admit that he's a bit on the chubby side. If he's not fat, then I'm a liberal. ;-)

84 La Mauvaise New Yorkaise  Thu, Jul 12, 2007 8:55:46pm

I've been getting a bad vibe from YouTube now for a while and not just because of their promoted videos section.

I rated a video the other day (gave it one star). Only one other person had rated it previously (4 stars). It took hours for the change to be reflected (for the overall rating to go down and for the "two persons have rated this video" change to appear). I would have though these types of ratings would be reflected almost automatically, or would i be wrong about this?

I also left a comment a few days ago on their AlJazeera promotion video. It has yet to be approved. I'm starting to wonder if literally every comment made and every rating is being put through some sort of political correctness filter.

Did the same thing and then left him a comment on the video telling him not to get too comfortable sitting in that chair.

Bwahahahaha!

Actually, he's such a (malignant) narcissist, he'd probably enjoy the attention.

re: #77 ChildOfMary

I really feel the same way. His whole demeanor was just....no words. He's got to be some kind of sociopath.

Others have decided to stretch verbal[4] da`awa (propagation of Islam) as long as possible so they will never in life be confronted with physically fighting for the Ummah. These unscrupulous characters are continually writing set after set of redundant books, which at best make good frisbees. In addition to this, they attack the Mujaahidin as Khawaarij (misguided extremists), renegades and unknowledgeable people. In all of their years, these Pentagon Muslims have tried to suppress every single streak of Islamic revival, so as not to disturb the bank tellers of the interest banks or those who manage or own the houses of alcohol. Many of them rejoice like hypocrites over the setbacks and failures of some Mujaahidin, and with great zeal and enthusiasm they congratulate their lap top shaikhs and checkbook Mawlawis (teachers). All of these efforts are well-concerted attempts to hamper the Victorious Party from its constant objective, which is to always be fighting for the truth until the Day of Judgement. They will not be harmed in the least by these feeble attempts. And what suffering they do undergo will be rewarded by God Almighty.

Echo that. Then I watch this video and find comfort in knowing we can win this - if the libs would just shut the f*ck up and sit down.

No matter how often muslims shout this hatred from their rooftops, too many people refuse to believe their own ears. "I hate you and will kill you" somehow morphs into a message of love, peace and harmony when passing through the filter of a leftist brain. I just don't get it.

Greetings from Mexico to the family :)

I moved from Oregon to McAllen in 1985 (@ 19 yrs) and immediately fell in love with the Texas’ way of life. I loved the laid back life style and worked for a great company. I was always treated with the most utmost respect in the work environment, however, being a single, white female all the cards were stacked against me with regards to the personal and work environment. I moved to Houston in 1993 and... get this.. married a Mexican – LOL. He is the most Americanized Mexican you would ever meat. He does not even speak Spanish and does not even have an accent. It was truly love! And we are very happy. His father (RIP) was a true republican (more so than my Conservative Baptist Minister father) and my husband’s father taught me more about politics/true heart felt beliefs than I had ever had felt before. I truly believe that my husband’s father is why I feel/believe the way I do today!

I see your point, but I have an engineering background and I have a hard time with illogic. It's difficult to accept such numbers, all exhibiting an utter disregard for their own survival, with hatred as their motivator, and complete dehydrated rock hard stupidity - all at once.

I am really biting my tongue here and could not watch much of that video. A religion that promotes hatred as a joyous thing and murder as something for the whole family is worse than no religion. To this man, Islam does that, and I see family pictures on his wallpaper on his youtube page with every family member holding a weapon. He is in essense beyond the pale.

This might cheer you up. Here is a guy from Egypt who has director status at youtube. He's on my friends list. He speaks up for open-mindedness and live and let live. I admire the heck out of him.

[Link: www.youtube.com...]

He also has a Wordpress blog - [Link: ahmadsherif.wordpress.com...]

Here he responds to some hate-filled posts on some of his videos on youtube.

Do you relate to these words as a human being, an Egyptian, a muslim or other than muslim ?
No. Of course you do not.

Do these horrific words remind you of similar ideologies, currently available on the markets of hate, violence, ignorance and murder ?

Yes, they do. These words have a face, a voice and several names. Zarqawi, Bin Laden, Ayman el Zawahiri.

Have you watched Ayman el Zawihiri’s latest video ? It resembles the previous ones: hate, violence, ignorance and murder.

I have a question: does Ayman el Zawihiri represent Islam ?

... no, he doesn’t.

Does he represent your ideas and your attitude in solving our political and social problems, your vision of what our relation should be with the West and the Arab world?

I would say “no” as well but I truly think that it isn’t that clear to many people, Egyptians, Arabs and Westerners.

Today, I believe we need to unite in clearly stating : “Ayman el Zawahiri, you do not represent me”.

I kindly request that you participate in this clarification effort, and that you display this message on your Website.

Many thanks,

Ahmad Sherif

I think most of them are in absolute denial. They cannot believe that such evil could really exist. It does not fit in with the way they think the world is -- you know, man basically good and all that. If they acknowledge the real threat posed by Muslim jihadists they would have to admit they were wrong about some very core beliefs that constitute their worldview.

Yup . . .see #116 and he isn't the first . . .think Adam Gadahn

Gadahn is the son of Jennifer and Phil Gadahn, a musician best known for the rare but critically acclaimed psychedelic album "Relatively Clean Rivers". Gadahn's Jewish paternal grandfather, Carl Pearlman, was a prominent surgeon and on the Board of Directors of the Anti-Defamation League; his paternal grandmother, Agnes Branch, was an editor for The Chronicle Christian Newspaper.[4] Before Adam's birth, his father, originally Phil Pearlman, converted to Christianity and changed his name to "Gadahn," derived from the name of the Biblical figure "Gideon".

re: #49 insanity police

That video made me sick. How could someone be so racist, cold, and
happy about someone's death? Is it indoctrination, religion, or pure
evil?

Two out of three, I think, to be quite fair. It is possible to be Muslim and ignore some of the more Peaceful and Loving bits of Big Mo's little green book (maybe that makes you a bad Muslim, but still possible). Indoctrination makes the MFer regard certain people as Other, so not worthy of empathy; pure evil... well, we have discussed that on LGF enough times. I imagine he must feel something like some of us when a Saddam Hussein or some such creature gets sent back to Allah: the world has become a slightly better place. Good hates evil, evil hates good.

This son of a goat-lover seems to have learned English young. He may have been hanging out with that Canadian family of terrorists, watching the WTC towers burn and having a laugh.

There is a question I never hear anyone ask a so-called "moderate Muslim" -- and that is, if one were to believe what moderate Muslims claim to believe -- given that much of the Koran and it's accepted interpretations would have to be set aside in order to hold those beliefs -- could what was left over still be considered Islam? Or is it a classic example of how at some point a difference in degree becomes a difference in kind.

WASHINGTON: An American Airlines flight travelling from Los Angeles to London was diverted to New York on Thursday over security concerns, but US authorities said the incident was likely a “misunderstanding”, US media reported. Police boarded the plane in New York and removed a Middle Eastern passenger after the flight crew had spotted the same man on an employee bus earlier, CNN television reported. The passenger did not appear to have the correct identification to prove he was an employee, CNN said. The pilot told passengers there was a lack of fuel and he would land the London-bound plane at JFK airport in New York. Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said in an interview that he had been informed by the airline that the passenger was an employee after all. afp

I cought the mention that he was raised in a secular Jewish family. Apparently he noted that in his "testimonial" on a web site.

Reminds me of "nominal Christians" falling into the same trap of conversion.

Sound like it was one of those weeks. Did you see the mother and little boy story?

Mom says she, toddler kicked off plane

They went back to the airport and made them get off because the little boy kept saying "bye bye plane" (he's 18 months old) and the mother refused to give him drugs to shut him up! ! ! Sounds like the stewardess was a real b**ch. Geez. I've been on flights with kids, and you have to cut the little devils some slack - they're kids!

.............................................
God moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform;
He plants His footsteps in the sea
And rides upon the storm.

Deep in unfathomable mines
Of never failing skill
He treasures up His bright designs
And works His sovereign will.

Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take;
The clouds ye so much dread
Are big with mercy and shall break
In blessings on your head.

Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,
But trust Him for His grace;
Behind a frowning providence
He hides a smiling face.

His purposes will ripen fast,
Unfolding every hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste,
But sweet will be the flower.

Blind unbelief is sure to err
And scan His work in vain;
God is His own interpreter,
And He will make it plain.

utube/Google feel safe letting the islamofascist human butchers use their space, because they know that no Americans can do a thing about it, so they are much more afraid of the islamofascist human butchers.

that the 614th commandment is, paraphrased, never to be helpless again.

so why does it seem as though that's the goal of the international community? to force helplessness upon the west and israel?

I am now convinced there is a concerted effort to undermine and slow bleed the United States of America. It reminds me of something I heard once from a friend about a Soviet operation that infiltrated the academic layer of the US, and used it to corrupt the intellectual base of America. If that was truly the case, it may have worked far better then they ever possibly imagined. I could be wrong though. ***Channeling Joseph McCarthy***

I believe that you are right. As BabbaZee often says, they are the Gramscian whores of the Caliphate.

In other words, twisted people like George Soros, Michael Moore, Steven Spielberg, Ted Kennedy, and other anti-Americans who undoubtedly have mother/father issues and should go to a shrink, have been successful, yet feel guilty because they feel they are worthless....and so they attack the U.S., Jews, and Western Civilization because they personally want to be punished and, at the same time, hope to stave off the day of reckoning for their guilt.

OK, that's a long sentence. I'll summarize: rich people who feel guilty about their wealth often attack the U.S. instead of dealing with their personal issues. This is called displacement.

I guess there is such a thing as an ex Marine then.

No Marine wants to be known as an "ex-Marine". It means that you have been disavowed as a brother in the Corps.

John F*cking™ Murtha is an ex-Marine.

I phrased it poorly but that was my point. Once a Marine always a Marine, the only way out is treason. Still not perfect phrasing but better?

if you read various theological responses to the holocaust, you'll find that there are a number of lessons to be learned, but the most important is summed up by emil fackenheim [spelling check, please?]:

that the 614th commandment is, paraphrased, never to be helpless again.

so why does it seem as though that's the goal of the international community? to force helplessness upon the west and israel?

Because they are afraid of the ROP and of death. Death would not be some wonderf from G-d if they were the ones experiencing it.

I can't believe YouTube leaves or lets this piece of shit on it site but removes Palestinian children parading in terrorist garb.

Today I was looking for a video on how palestinians abuse their own children. I did a google search and ended up at Hot Air. There was a little boy kalisnakov in habd dressed in green headband ect. I clicked on it to watch and it brought me to LGF...which I thought was normal considering
our admiration for Hot Air. However when I clicked on the video on the LGF site it went directly to YouTube and said this video has been removed due to abuse of charter or something like that. I was pissed! Now I see this piece of disgusting crap and YouTube has "no problem" with this...

go figure....

I hope they keep it for another couple of days so I can show it to some people i know who think Islam is god's gift to mankind....ROP ....I hope this shocks their asses.

re: #249 Spartanwoman

It is often in the darkest moments when we have the most faith. Tolstoy was driven to the brink of suicide when seeing all of the hardship of the Russian peasants around him. What brought him back? Instead of his own, egocentric despair, he looked at *them.* They were poor, they lived miserably, and were exceedingly happy and hopeful.

Just because we, today, think of anything less than material comfort as a state of abject misery, and a state that should bring nothing less than total despair, doesn't mean that others view it the same way. As Tolstoy learned, in the face of the greatest difficulties, faith is often strengthened. Many others witnessed the same thing during the brutal Soviety repression of the Orthodox Church. What did those of faith sent to die in the gulags do? Stripped of everything, they made paper icons, snuck out into the woods to hold services, etc.

Strength, selflessness, humility . . . qualities that are often at odds with how we live today which, of course, colors how we look at historical events. To say that the Jews should have abandoned God because they suffered is ridiculous.

the sinner,

Charles

Amen, LizardBennet, it is the "worst possible lesson."-- But I can understand the statement that "God was silent." We all struggle with the idea of a good God who allows evil to exist in his creation. It is hard to accept, but God does not cause evil, man commits evil and man has the free will to choose good or evil. And each person is responsible for the choices he/she makes.

not to mention the fact that being ba'al t'shuvah is difficult. very, very difficult. for the weak-willed or those who don't "want it" [for lack of a better phrase] badly enough, it can absolutely be a frustrating experience, one that might ultimately result in personal failure that is then twisted into anger unjustifiably directed at the religion itself.

YouTube - Daniel Pearl I Am Happy You Are Dead :)

Well, I just watched it. And that's what we're fighting. Very clearly spoken. Zero moral credibility. Near-zero connection to reality. Near-zero hope for his conversion to being a decent human being. He's joined his death-cult gang, and that's what he lives and dies for, the same as an inner-city gang, fighting for turf and dominance. If you ain't a member of his gang, then you're worthless. Then slip in a few Arabic words and references to God, and then everything you do is holy. Oh what fun. And that then makes God the most sadistic gang leader in the universe.

And given all of the anti-Jihad things which have been banned on YouTube, they deserve some big-time bad press for this.

I'm not sure I blame you tube for keeping this video up.
To be fair, Charles, and LGF itself have an active link to the video, which means that on at least some level he agrees that this kind of thing needs to be seen.
In fact, I think if more people watched videos like this, there'd be a lot more lizards, and many fewer moonbats.
What I DO blame youtube for, is their obvious double standard, and the fact that they take down videos broadcast by our side.

re: #273 Charles the Hammer

re: #249 Spartanwoman

To say that the Jews should have abandoned God because they suffered is ridiculous.

the sinner,

Charles

ANd no one said that the jews "should have abandoned G-d"...just that G-d did not act to save them as they died. So spare me the preaching, ok.

And your poet was a lunatic, doesn't make his poetry bad but makes his judgement questionable

Cowper may have tempered his sunny remarks about smiling faces if he had been around for the Holocaust...or if he had been mentally stable

I doubt it. You see, you either trust in God, or you don't trust in God.

Cowper was not mentally stable, which was my point

Mr. Cowper had problems, but he was a brilliant man. Lots of people have problems and deal with them as best they can or get help. That does not mean his hymns are deranged. My point stands.

I did not say his hymns were deranged (so stop putting words in my mouth or my fingers), but his judgement is questionable. Multiple suicide attempts, hallucinations and paranoia go well beyond "had problems" and Cowper who believed he was damned and tried suicide probably didn't trust in G-d too very much.

etc.etc.etc.

United we stand divided we fall.

Some things can't be mended in this life, at least not through mere human words we try to offer each other. We can accept the comfort intended by words.

I was privileged to study "Bible as Literature" from a learned Jewish scholar. He presented such depth of appreciation, insight and knowledge, that I was shocked when at some point he simply said he did not believe in G-d anymore, because of the Holocaust. My answer to him was silence, and I remembered, "Rise, rise and pray that you will not be put to the test!" Words from a Great Heart that knew the darkness and the bitter gall of abandonment. "Could you not tarry with me one hour?"

The most lyrical witness to Holocaust, the survivor Primo Levi described seeing masses of people driven into the death chambers, passing through a gate inscribed: "Only the Righteous May Pass," it was a sacramental lintel, plundered from a synagogue. The Nazi's placed it in such a way as to mock the ancient faith, a final insult to the people of G-d. But it was unintended testimony, it was Truth. The ones who passed through, they were the innocent, the righteous, and the simians who attempted sacrilege and blasphemy with that macabre placement unwittingly bent the knee to Truth.

The martyrs of the Holocaust passed through that gate while the heathens raged. Lost to our sight, may they repose forever in light perpetual. The murderers, savages with conscience seared at last found themselves dragged down to death to face eternal shame and condemnation. This is a comfort, it is a source of strength, that Justice Is, Truth Is, it is deep as our bones and it is reality. Even a tiny child thirsts for justice, is outraged at injustice and must be taught to lie, for these elemental absolutes are encoded in humanity. Creation and conscience bear witness to the truth and to absolutes, which is why evil always seeks to destroy and torture and corrupt whatever is alive and beautiful, must forever deal in lies and coercion to shackle the human mind. Evil must always take a lie and force that lie deep into the human heart to forestall its own inexorable defeat.

Our longing for justice, our instinctive knowledge that there is goodness to be husbanded and passed onward to the generations, our certainty that evil is real, and really must be destroyed, these are the inner thoughts needed for sanity and courage. Atheism at least speaks in the language of reality when it concludes that there is no g-d. Can it inspire the endurance, the resolve to preserve justice, truth, freedom? Is there an antidote to the slow poison of nihilism that is the spawn of existential relativism?

Elie Wiesel, a survivor whose atheism has never been glib, wrote at last of his anger at G-d, at the dialog of pain that now fills that part of his psyche where before only absolute zero, the cold fire and black night had been. We must keep our common ground, it is a necessity to preserve in the world reverence for absolute standards, whether we believe in a reigning and Transcendent Deity or not. We must not surrender the vocabulary of reality, or we too will succumb to the egoism and diseased thinking of traitors and fall to our zealous, implacable enemy.

What a stomach-turning self-righteous little prick. Islamic supremacism and inhumanity at its finest.

You cannot compare a beautiful human being like Daniel Pearl with this pathetic excuse for a man, and he deserves nothing but contempt.

The only way of dealing with such warped depravity is to cut it out like a cancer. How much longer do we have to put up with this filth?

315 Mal' Rider  Fri, Jul 13, 2007 2:55:21am

I am thankful that You Tube allows this to be posted. You know why? Because every single time that Islamist apologists on the far left & right claims that radical Islam is a boogie-man invented by the neo-cons, or are a natural reaction to our foreign policy, you can point to racist punks like this guy living right here in the good 'ole US of A. I hope they keep this one posted.

Yes, we have bad Jews, too. Usually their evil is perpetrated against their own rather than against the outside world. Apparently they have been with us for many centuries, as our ancient prayers contain a line, "and for the slanderers, let there be no mercy." This is in reference to Jews who reported bad things about their fellow Jews to the oppressor du jour.

If I remember correctly, I think this loser explored Orthodox/Hasidic Judaism BEFORE he converted to Islam. In other words, he is, as you say, the product of a moonbat, secular, leftist home, but his last stop before Islam was a brief flirtation with Hasidism. Perhaps he was outed as a nutcase, and then realized that he'd blend in better among the Islamists than the Jews.

As part of their mental illness, they are incapable of seeing that they too will be killed. Remember, we are talking about people who create an alternate reality because they cannot deal with this one.

349 docremulac  Fri, Jul 13, 2007 7:52:34am

Let's be honest. muslims have an inferiority complex that's why they're trying to kill everybody else because they know their very survival is due to one fact:

Their very existence hinges on the rest of the people of the world being tolerant and kind to these idiots. If someday the world decided it's had enough of islam, islam would be history. This is due to the fact that muslims are the most inferior warriors the world has seen and they know it. How many wars have they declared on Israel where they outnumbered their enemy be many times? They got their pathetic dumb asses kicked each time. They could never build an airplane, a satellite or a hydrogen bomb with out the help of the infidels. If there ever were a real war between the infidels and the muslims, muslims would be fighting against supersonic fighter bombers with sticks and rocks.

re: #29 MilkOfMalfeasance

Very Interesting Point Promethea. Seems like there is quite a disconnect in their logic. I think a ball-peen hammer might be more effective than counseling for people like that. I guess I'll continue to pound sand.
