-RetweetTransnational Soccer Balls of Blasphemy, the Sequel

Sun, Aug 26, 2007 at 6:01:39 pm PDT

When I posted earlier about the dreaded balls of blasphemy, I had forgotten that I own such a transnational soccer ball (actually, a miniature hacky-sack style promo version), acquired at a forgotten tour party in Europe, sometime while the Soviet Union was still in existence.

No Saudi Arabian flag on this one.

UPDATE at 8/26/07 6:21:52 pm:

Jihad Watch has a picture of a ball from 2006, with the Saudi flag right next to the Israeli flag. I’ll bet that was a one-time slip-up.

I cannot wait for the day when the religious fanatics who push for expanding The Cult™ are relegated to hiding in caves, cast aside by mainstream society worldwide.

We must all continue to expose Islam for what it is: A cult, intent on world domination, hiding behind a poor excuse of a religion. It is spread by threats, intimidation, and violence.

Thanks for all you do Charles!

OT:
Obama: U.S. can't fail New Orleans again
By BECKY BOHRER, Associated Press Writer
Sun Aug 26, 1:59 PM ET

NEW ORLEANS - Democrat Barack Obama said Sunday the country cannot fail New Orleans again and that as president, he would keep the city in mind every day.

"The words never again cannot be another empty phrase," he said in front of one of the few rebuilt houses he saw on a brief tour of the city's Gentilly Woods section. "It cannot become another broken promise."

Obama is the first of several presidential candidates from both parties who are set to visit New Orleans in connection with the second anniversary of Hurricane Katrina on Wednesday. President Bush also is expected to mark the occasion with a trip to the Gulf Coast.

Obama, whose day began at First Emanuel Baptist Church, said that long before Katrina, the nation had failed to lift up New Orleans, a city with persistent struggles such as poverty and poor public schools. He said that cannot happen again and that Americans have a "collective responsibility" to each other.

"Racial discord, poverty, the old divisions of black and white, rich and poor, it's time to leave that to yesterday," he said.
Remember this:

"MAYOR RAY NAGIN: We as black people, it’s time, it’s time for us to come together. It’s time for us to rebuild a New Orleans, the one that should be a chocolate New Orleans and I don’t care what people are saying uptown or wherever they are, this city will be chocolate at the end of the day."Obama just cant keep his piehole shut.

Not for his daughter. He never married - never reproduced. He wrote the stories down and illustrated them himself and gave them to Alice Liddell (the original Alice). The copy was noticed by a writer, shown to another, tested on his children, who loved it. Consequently, the author was urged to publish. He was astonished.

Lewis Carroll is so complex and interesting - I did a graduate paper on him - don't get me started.

In the World Cup they have their own team, as does Scotland.

Ireland was partitioned in 1922. Some sporting associations are all Ireland, but soccer is a working class game and most of the bigots wouldn't play for an all-Ireland team. Hence the N. Ireland on the ball.

Judging by the attitude of an Irish immigrant I used to work with, the working class Catholics wouldn't want any Protestants on their team, either.

I'm rooting for Ireland; but the pool we're in we'll be lucky to qualify second which means we meet N.Z. in the quarters... and then good-night McNight !.

Campesi says there's only four teams in it; N.Z. Aust. S. Africa and France. I tend to agree, sadly.

I have a watch somewhere, made in Russia, with the USSR flag and the US flag side by side from some "mutual friendship" thing in the 1980's. Now if I only had a Saudi/US watch—oh, wait, we have no mutual friendship, just oil and money.

Yes. Notice they don't show Paul O'connell's hit on him in the Heinekin Cup match Munster v. Sale Sharks. He played crap for ages after that; but unfortunately for us he's on form now.

I'd like to repeat this for all the LGF lizards:

The devil hates to be mocked!

If seeing the Saudi Flag getting kicked is insulting to "Allah", then what if stickers were put in every public urinal, toilet bowl and bidet?

[Link: littlegreenfootballs.com...]

Well, one of our own LGF'ers has come up with a perfect plan for implementing such a thing:

[Link: littlegreenfootballs.com...]

Simply order them here: [Link: www.unflags.com...]

...and start pasting away~!

Maybe they will get the message: "There is no God called 'Allah' and he can't save himself from 'squat'"

(The inference being--if he can't save himself from being mocked, why should you give your life for him?)

That's what you get when you try to appease the Islamists, never print Saudi Flag, never make it fly in your air.. While they can burn US flags and step on it, they can step on crosses and break them, everybody has to respect their (always offended by anything) feelings, but they don't respect other lives, religions, feelings..etc.

130 AWOL Civilization  Sun, Aug 26, 2007 8:13:11pm

I guess the symbolism of the sword on the Saudi flag is that they are turning their swords into ploughshares.

Well, maybe not...

Voice of Allah: “Wage jihad on the infidels!

(Player presses the kick button and a Boot comes out to kick in the balls):

Voice of Allah: Oooouch... my balls!. Who kicked me?

[100 points appears on the counter]

Voice of Allah: “It’s your religious duty to plunder the unbelievers.”

(Player presses the kick button and an Army boot comes out and kicks Allah in the balls):

Voice of Allah: Ahhhaaa, Mother of Satan my bruised balls are aching!

[250 points appears on the counter]

Voice of Allah: “Kill one kafar you will get 72 virgins

(Player presses the kick button and a Cowboy boot comes out and kicks Allah in the balls):

Voice of Allah: Oh sh*t those cowboy boots hurt! What have to done to my mauled balls?

[475 points appears on the counter]

Voice of Allah: “Spread Islam by the sword!”

(Player presses the "hand" button and a giant hand reaches out and twists Allah’s balls):

Voice of Allah: Holy camel crap! My balls are burning with pain! Who is twisting my balls?

[1050 points appears on the counter and 72 raisins shower the screen]

So, if the national flag bearing the shahada or Islamic profession of faith ("There is no god but God and Muhammad is the Prophet of God") written on it with the swords is burned, much like they burn our national flag, can I assume seething will commence?

So if this writing on the Saudi flag is so sacred, why is there no outrage over it being ON THE SAUDI FLAG in the first place?

Maybe because in Saudi Arabia Islam is the only Cult allowed to exist?

158 EnDash  Mon, Aug 27, 2007 1:20:19pm

A personal note: Back some years ago, I used to purchase much of my dress clothing in Tripler's, an upscale Madison Avenue store. At one time they featured a lovely necktie whose design was an assortment of flags of the world in miniature. So taken was I by this necktie, in view of our special business capabilities in translating and typesetting most world languages, I not only bought one for me to wear, but also duplicated for several company execs -- as if it were our own "corporate" tie.

A few years later, I saw the tie in stock again and purchased another, with a different background color. By that time, the store and it's parent company had fallen into the hands of Arab investors. It was after I got the new edition home that I discovered that, while the original had no Saudi flag but did have an Israeli one, the new version omitted Israel and had added Saudi Arabia. I suppose it's all right to wear a Saudi flag on a cravat but not to play with one on a soccer ball.

Both ties are still on my rack -- as a reminder of something or other.
