Breitbart Blogger Dan Riehl: A High School Bully and Proud of It
The heirs of Andrew at breitbart.com have managed to turn the site into a total laughing stock; if you were ever curious what a rabidly partisan website utterly divorced from logic, reality, and simple decency looks like, here you go: Breitbart.com.
The Breitbrats are coming unglued today about the Washington Post story on Mitt Romney’s anti-gay high school bullying. Current headlines:
- ROMNEY BULLYING OBAMA BY 7 POINTS IN POLL
- WASHINGTON POST ROMNEY ‘BULLYING’ PROFILE CONTRADICTED BY… AUTOMOBILE MAGAZINE
- 50 YEAR-OLD BULLY BARACK OBAMA TARGETS PRIVATE CITIZEN
- NPR CITES BULLY DAN SAVAGE IN REPORT ON ROMNEY BULLYING
- FAMILY DENOUNCES WAPO FOR EXPLOITING LAUBER
- DOES WAPO KNOW OBAMA SHOVED A LITTLE GIRL?
- WASHINGTON POST ROMNEY HIT PIECE IMPLODES
- FLASHBACK: OBAMA’S SORDID HIGH SCHOOL PAST
- CORRECTION REQUEST: WASHINGTON POST USES FALSEHOOD IN ROMNEY HIT PIECE
On and on it goes. And the comments for these posts are full of extreme hatred, of course.
So since they’re working so hard (and failing so hard) to exonerate Mitt Romney of those bullying allegations, how do the Breitbrats themselves feel about bullying? They must think it’s bad, since they’re trying to turn it around and use the accusation against Obama, right?
For the answer to that question, let’s turn to the always effervescent Dan Riehl, one of the Breitbrat crew who was recently invited to a meeting with Mitt Romney.
Here’s a series of tweets posted last night by Riehl on the subject of bullying, something he apparently knows quite a bit about:
All this confirms is, newsrooms are full of candy asses who often had their asses kicked in high school

That’s right — this is the kind of blogger Mitt Romney wants on his side.
Riehl responds in his usual way:
Note to self: before stuffing @Lizardoid in his hall locker, next time, toss in a cheese sandwich so he doesn’t chew his arm off.

I think the force that motivates chuckles to get out of bed every day is to change his robe and slippers and have a bowl of cereal.
