Look Out, Here Come the Birthers Again, Led by “Malik Obama” and Drudge Report
Birtherism. The right wing conspiracy theory that refuses to die, even when Barack Obama is no longer president. What can you even say about these lunatics at this point, except to note with sad amusement that the US right wing seems to be completely nuts.
The latest explosion of crazed Birtherism started with a tweet by “Malik Obama” (an account that many people, myself included, suspect is actually being run by white supremacist Chuck C. Johnson):
Surely. What’s this? pic.twitter.com/jaczNXTIv0

This “birth certificate” was debunked eight years ago. It’s a blatant fake. For starters, the date of birth is in US format: mm/dd/yyyy.
But who cares? Not the right wing Birther community, that’s for sure! Notice it has thousands of retweets and favorites.
And it’s being amplified by the biggest right wing megaphones on the web: Drudge Report and the Stupidest Man on the Internet.

Breaking: @MalikObama Tweets Alleged Barack Obama Birth Certificate in Kenya https://t.co/r0pNrfQKmv
— Jim Hoft (@gatewaypundit) March 9, 2017
And the frosting on this many-layered cake of idiocy: Jim Hoft, in his usual brainless fashion, tweeted the wrong address for that fake Malik Obama account.
The real question is: will Donald Trump take the bait and go on a 5 am rage-tweeting binge about this HUGE BREAKING NEWS? Stay tuned for further developments in right wing bad craziness.
