Infamous Right Wing Troll Chuck C. Johnson Attends White Supremacist Event in DC

Racists show their support for Donald Trump
Politics • Views: 43,173

Last night in Washington DC, some CPAC attendees went to an off-site conference at the Ronald Reagan Building in support of Donald Trump — the annual conference of the white supremacist group with the innocuous-sounding name “the National Policy Institute.”

Why did the people in charge of the Ronald Reagan Building let their facilities be used by this gang of disgusting racists in suits? Draw your own conclusions.

But here’s a pro-tip for notorious stalker Chuck C. Johnson: if you don’t want people to think you’re a white supremacist, maybe you shouldn’t be attending their conferences.

Johnson attended the racists’ event with his new partner, Pax Dickinson, the fired and disgraced former CTO of Business Insider. Here’s a photo of the two of these troglodytes with another infamous racist hate-spewer, Matt Forney. Chuck looks drunk, as usual.

Why do the people who think they’re examples of superior human beings always look so unevolved?

Here’s video of the scene outside the event, posted by @expandyourfocus.

At 17 seconds into the clip, I’m pretty sure you can see Chuck C. Johnson entering the building, followed by Pax Dickinson.

See, there are lots of forms of racism.

But only white supremacy has Institutes in DC where they try and nudge policy along.

Institute as in institutional. Like…something kind of racism that has a cultural, historical, and policy backbone that gives it legitimacy and power.

Funny, that.

If you’re going to do it, and it’s a big if, bring facts along. Income inequality charts, income ratios between the top 5% and bottom 50%, shit like that. Idealogical arguments with nothing backing them will most assuredly be unconvincing.

(Of course, just in general it is prudent to try to back up your arguments with actual facts!)

Perhaps you don’t feel that the malicious miscreant of your choice’s eternal punishment isn’t quite complete unless they’re really up in there, pressed in from all sides in unceasing anal torment. Like the leech that specializes in attaching itself exclusively to hippo buttholes. And yes, there is such a thing.

Apparently, hippos are the best source of blood in the area, and their ample starfishes are the only spots soft enough to penetrate. So in order to survive, these leeches must laboriously crawl up the legs of these massive beasts in order to eventually reach the Shangri La of the rectum. Whereupon the remainder of their future is to suck butt until they drop off and die.

Seeing CCJ with these other dudes brings a question to mind.

Was David Daleiden from the *cough* Center For Medical Progress at CPAC this year? I would think with all the conservatives calling for Planned Parenthood to be shutdown he would have been one of the top speakers.

I know Charles thinks CCJ and Daleiden may be on the outs, but you’d think that wouldn’t matter to the cause. Or, is David Daleiden now on the outs too, because he is being discredited.

Anymore, you need a scorecard to see who is in or out, who is rising and who is falling in RWNJ World. Is there a site for it? Keep Track of Conservatives .com or something?

In the world of ‘academic racism,’ four groups play leading roles.

National Policy Institute
After a year of soliciting funds for a “new think tank” in Washington, D.C., the National Policy Institute was established with a staff of four in September 2005 by far-right publisher William Regnery. The institute’s mission statement says it aims “to elevate the consciousness of whites, ensure our biological and cultural continuity, and protect our civil rights. The institute … will study the consequences of the ongoing influx that non-Western populations pose to our national identity.”…

I think he’d have been annoyed at the foolish of the NPI and wouldn’t associate with them.

But Reagan would have saved his true anger for the “Party of Socialism and Liberation”, whom he would have called “parlor pinks” or “useful idiots” in his diary.

Ronald Reagan was a man of his times and experiences and he believed that the Radical Left (ultimately embodied by Communism) was a greater threat to the United States than the Paleo-Right. In his own times in power (as governor of California and later as President of the United States) this was true, in large part because the Radical Left’s many connections to the Soviet Union, both in the US and aboard. But now the Soviet Union is gone and Russia has a different philosophy, and the Radical Left is smaller outside of the universities and far less armed than the Paleo-Right.

So Reagan would have seen things is of limited use now, because the circumstances that prevail are so different.

Look at it this way (and I expect some Republicans to start making this case seriously in coming days): Puerto Rico will soon have 23 delegates who will only be bound to Rubio for one ballot at the Cleveland convention. After that, they can vote for whoever they want. If Republicans who can’t stand Crump or Truz start doing the same, then their delegates will be similarly free. So go vote for those futile candidates, as long as you can agree on which ones!

Reagan-era politics didn’t simply ignore the paleo-right. It deliberately encouraged the merger the earliest version of outright theocrats—the Christian Coalition and the Moral Majority—with the state’s rights and business wings of the party. Reagan basically got the band back together—racism on drums, authoritarian religion on bass, cronyism playing guitar.

The young jerks assembling at that “Institute” are the direct product of the Reagan era making it cool to be worried about how blacks want free stuff, and gays are going to AIDS your kids, and if you’re not into Jesus-by-way-of-a-shouty-sweaty-Southern-dude…you were probably both stupid and had been tricked by those evil college leftists elites.

Reagan created the culture: this the mold that grew on the culture.

Furthermore, and perhaps with the longest-stretching implications for the world, Reagan-era politics facilitated and funded the paleo-right of the Middle East to the tune of billions of dollars passed through Saudi Arabia (and supplemented by a trillion of their own). Because for some reason insane fucking monarchs seemed like a good investment. Hooray.

Well, they haven’t yet. There’s no guarantee that these blocs will remain united past that first ballot. Nothing stopping Trump from promising yuuuuuuuge cushy positions to individual delegates if he thinks it’ll help him.

I would think he’s efforts would be better spent on other delegates, more akin to the voting bloc he’s been courting.

What a hoot.

They’re focused on state “wins” when all Dem states so far have been proportional. Hillary’s lead in the delegate count will likely be past the “insurmountable” point after March 15th, despite all the Sandbagger fantasies about how Bernie could theoretically win the nomination under some increasingly unlikely scenarios. It tells me a lot that they’re increasingly trying to shift focus back to the FBI investigation, as if they know by this point that the only chance they have left at the nomination is an indictment.

What happens to the delegates of candidates that have left the race?

For example, Kasich’s 35 delegates: if he drops out now does he maintain control of them at least through the first round of voting at the GOP convention?
Could Kasich have them vote for Trump at the convention in the 1st round?

Actually, in the case of the T-72 the US got head-faked by the ‘monkey-models’ sold abroad as did even Israel. The original T-72 and the T-72M weren’t that good, but in part because the Red Army got access to Israel’s M111 ‘Hetz’ APFS-DS ammo due to a trio of Israeli M48s being captured by Syria in 1982, T-72A was better and the T-72B was far better than those models sold abroad.

Moreover, even as late as the Gulf War information sold to civilians was still talking about the T-72’s auto loader being the same kind as the problematic autoloader of the BMP-1. Then after well-maintained examples of it were examined after capture from Iraq we learned that the T-72’s autoloader was nothing like that of the BMP-1 and in fact its auto loader works very well.

So how do things stand now. I’ll let Charles Pierce lay it all out.

Suddenly, it is obvious that the only real competition he has is Tailgunner Ted Cruz, and that puts He, Trump, a charlatan who only recently became a kind of monster, in a head-to-head brawl with someone who has been raised since birth to be one. Trump is an opportunist who saw a chance and half-ran, half-stumbled toward it. Cruz is someone who’s had his eyes on the prize since before Princeton and Harvard Law loosed him upon the world. Trump is a man of grandiose, hopelessly vague promises. Cruz is dead-serious about hauling the country into retrograde theocracy and Gilded Age economics. Trump places his faith in Two Corinthians, which I believe is a pizza and sandwich joint on Staten Island. Cruz considers himself to be both a vehicle for political extremism and the instrument of the living God. You decide which frightens you more.

Former President Jimmy Carter told an audibly relieved church congregation Sunday that he no longer needs cancer treatments and is ending them.

Carter, 91, announced in August that he had a mass removed from his liver. The mass turned out to be melanoma, a dangerous form of skin cancer.

Carter underwent treatment with a new drug, Keytruda, and in December he said at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, Georgia, where he frequently teaches Sunday school, that the cancer had disappeared.

Sunday, Carter told the congregation that a magnetic resonance imaging scan showed that “I didn’t need any more treatment, so I’m not going to have any more treatments.”

An interesting tidbit from the Wikipedia article about the Republican National Convention:

Since the almost universal adoption of the primary election for selecting delegates in the last quarter of the 20th century, however, the convention’s significance has diminished. The national party focuses on the convention as a unity point to bring together a party platform and state parties by having delegates vote on issues, which the nominee can then incorporate into their presidential campaign.

This might need to be revised after this cycle.

LOL. The GOP missed the memo on how the primary season and nomination process is supposed to go. From Wikipedia on Brokered Convention:

Several factors encourage a clear and timely decision in the primary process.

First, candidates tend to get momentum as they go through the process because of the bandwagon effect. ….

Secondly, political parties wish to avoid the negative publicity from a brokered convention and to maximize the amount of time the nominee has to campaign for the presidency.

Especially because of the desire to foster party unity in the months leading up to Election Day, it is considered possible if not probable that any “brokering” that may be required for a future presidential convention will take place in the weeks and months leading up to the convention, once it becomes clear that no candidate will likely secure a majority of delegates without an agreement with one or more rivals. ….

There’s not much to do other than give out bottled water until the assessment of the damage to Flint’s water system is complete. Once that is done a solution can be planned and once its planned it can be funded. But to just go in half-cocked like Moore wants is a Bad Idea will waste money and might well end up making some of the problems worse.

I have been a-googling but have not found the answer.

What happens to the delegates of candidates that have left the race?

For example, Kasich’s 35 delegates: if he drops out now does he maintain control of them at least through the first round of voting at the GOP convention?
Could Kasich have them vote for Trump at the convention in the 1st round?

To the best of my knowledge, they are committed to vote for him in the first round unless he releases them. If he does, they are free to vote as they please (he can ask them to vote for a particular candidate, and I think they would generally do so).

And, residents shouldn’t have to go pick up water, it should be delivered.
The Governor should have deployed the National Guard for this since the start.
They should be delivering water in at least liter bottles, better yet at least gallon size.
They should provide other water containers to household to be filled on regular schedules by large container trucks for use in personal/household cleaning. This is not a short term problem. And, 16 oz. water bottles is not a long term solution.

Republicans need to be attacked and mocked and derided every single second of the day given their support of racists like Trump, Dominionists like Cruz and lightweights like Rubio. All of them are extremists who would hurt minorities and women if they win the Presidency. All of them have promised to overturn Obergefell with SCOTUS nominations. “Because Snyder was at no point trying to cause Flint to have a water crisis and it was not the governor who made the decision to change the source of Flint’s water.”

True on the first part, false on the second. When Snyder appointed an emergency manager for Flint to allegedly save money, Eclectablog reported that the em told Snyder it was a very bad idea to switch the city’s water source to the Flint River. It later came out that Snyder knew the water was toxic, and that some of his officials in the environmental department, whom he appointed, and some other republicans told him about Flint’s water problem, but he chose to do nothing. He is lawyering up like a mofo at this time and charging the expenses to the citizens of Michigan.

Snyder’s emergency manager is the one who made that decision.

I decline to pretend there is a meaningful difference between Snyder and his stooges.

While it is probably true that Synder et al. did not plan a priori to poison the people of Flint, their non-responsiveness and continue obstruction (i.e., issuing orders to remain with the tainted water system in lieu of the obvious solution of switching back to the way it was before) once the disaster became clear is enough to prove that they didn’t give a crap, until forced to by bad publicity.

War can be waged overtly or covertly, but the aims are the same: to attack and diminish one’s enemy/enemies. It’s no secret what many right-wing pols and their supporters think about the residents of some American cities. One only has to note the constant references used about the number of gun deaths in Chicago that are used to derail calls for sensible gun control legislation to understand this. They pretend that only a majority black city has gun violence problems when the truth is that America has a gun violence problem not found in any other first tier nation.

Rachel Maddow did an entire segment Friday night on the effectiveness of Rick Snyder’s administration and governing philosophy. Flint stands out as a pretty egregious example of laissez-faire money-saving by dismantling civilization, but there are lots of others as well. Schools? Why should government pay for that? Let them all close. And most of us thought the post-apocalyptic dystopia was a result of a nuclear war or something. Republicans want to take us there without the war. Or with the war. Whichever, the result is still good.

His administration actively hid and covered up the truth for as long as possible. That resulted in more people unknowingly drinking poison when Snyder could have warned them. That’s a clear act of aggression, and his motive for allowing this ongoing harm to his constituents was to cover up and avoid the obvious personal, political and criminal consequences he faced if the news of Flint’s water quality got out.

The only reason you don’t see it as a war is because nobody you could possibly even consider caring about was harmed.

I know, right?? There weren’t any real surprises - The Russians built stuff that was less refined and more purpose-built, with less sophisticated electronics. OK fine. 3. Milo and Ben had public spats because of Trump (which they do “jokingly”, but Ben’s discomfort is visible).
