More proof of Orwell’s Law!

The Republican Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

The Republican Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. They are not interested in the good of others; they are interested solely in power… . Power is not a means; it is an end … not power over things, but over men… . In our world there will be no emotions except fear, rage, triumph, and self-abasement… . There will be no loyalty, except loyalty toward the Party. There will be no love, except the love of Trump… . Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a colored person’s face forever.

A dear friend of ours is dying in Hot Springs in Arkansas. We need to be there, but we can’t. She has PLS, a flavor of ALS, but much rarer (peripheral).

She is taking last breaths as her body is shutting down. The neural breakers are being pulled. Nothing can be done.

We are dying a little death of our own. She is so dear. Her husband is so dear. So sad, so pointless.

We don’t need tots and pears, we need hugs, all of us, at Anne’s death, and they aren’t available right now for obvious reasons. We can’t meet to celebrate her life, her love, her sweetness.

I haven’t seen much from them on Tara Reade in recent days. Beyond the odd “optics” article/op-ed, they seem to have gone silent on the topic since the divorce trial transcript dropped and totally undermined the idea that she’d been telling the “rape” tale since ‘93.

On the other hand, unless the clerk is coughing in your face, you probably aren’t in contact with the clerk long enough to pick up sufficient viral load. Assuming the viral load is cumulative, the clerk is probably in more danger from customers than customers are from the clerk.

- When members of your own party step up and say you need to cool it with the saber-rattling towards Iran, you done fucked up

- Shutting down the economy only became necessary because mitigation (masks/social distancing) did not happen until the outbreak was already well-established and growing explosively. Dems did not force Trump to believe Xi’s BS in the hopes of getting a trade deal before Nov.

FBI agents executed a search warrant Wednesday night at the Washington, DC-area home of Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC), the LA Times reports. They reportedly seized Burr’s cell phone as part of their investigation of stock trades he made while getting COVID-19 briefings as chairman of the Senate intel committee. The stock trades occurred before the full scope of the pandemic threat was publicly known in the United States.

WASHINGTON — Federal agents seized a cellphone belonging to a prominent Republican senator on Wednesday night as part of the Justice Department’s investigation into controversial stock trades he made as the novel coronavirus first struck the U.S., a law enforcement official said.

Sen. Richard Burr of North Carolina, the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, turned over his phone to agents after they served a search warrant on the lawmaker at his residence in the Washington area, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss a law enforcement action.

A second law enforcement official said FBI agents served a warrant in recent days on Apple to obtain information from Burr’s iCloud account and said agents used data obtained from the California-based company as part of the evidence used to obtain the warrant for the senator’s phone.

An interesting development in Nebraska today.

After Governor Ricketts said the state would not release information on meat processing plants and coronavirus infections, one public health district ignored the order and released information anyway.

Several processors said they would release the information publicly if the state won’t release it officially. (I’m guessing here the companies want to stay on the good side of the towns they are in, and they want help from the state in dealing with this.)

From the Omaha World-Herald:

212 workers test positive for coronavirus after mass testing at Tyson pork plant in Madison

Increased testing at the Tyson Foods pork plant in Madison, Nebraska, which temporarily shut down last week to deep clean, revealed 212 workers had COVID-19.

More than 1,400 workers, contractors and vendors at the plant, south of Norfolk, were tested by either Tyson or local health care providers at the beginning of May.

At the bottom of the article is a list with maps of the counties in the USA with the highest per capita rate of infections. Two are in Nebraska, one of which is fourth in the nation (Dakota).

Dakota County, Nebraska

Population: 20026

Coronavirus cases: 704

Deaths: 1

Death rate rank: 818

Cases per 10K population: 351

Hard to believe the first case in county that’s part of Sioux City metro did not spring up until April 12. Now only three counties in nation have higher per-capita rate. County is home to an idled Tyson Fresh Meats plant, where reportedly 669 of 4,300 workers have tested positive.

I’m reading through articles from ‘18 where the wingnuts spent the bulk of the year after Judge Sullivan issued his (customary) Brady Rule order convinced that “any day now” he’d come in and allow Flynn to withdraw his guilty plea, order the case dismissed, and then order the DOJ prosecutors held in contempt for “prosecutorial misconduct.”

They believe that right up until Dec 18th, when Flynn went into the courtroom with grins and smiles and left in a dour mood after Judge Sullivan had not only gelded him for actions that he considered “treason,” but then pressed Mike on everything from whether he believed he’d been coerced by the FBI into making a guilty plea (he’s on the record as saying “No”) and if he wished to withdraw his plea (he said “No” and instead asked for more time to cooperate with Mueller). The very next day, Flynn hired Sidney Powell and thus began the efforts to convinced Donny through a media barrage that Mike was a loyal soldier and who deserved a pardon.

Roland Emmerich is cooking up a new disaster flick. Moonfall.

Disaster film extraordinaire Roland Emmerich has once again set his sights on space with his upcoming action thriller Moonfall, about (you guessed it) the moon falling to Earth. As reported by THR, the first person cast in the ensemble picture is Frozen II’s Josh Gad, and to be perfectly honest, there’s no better candidate for a suicide mission into space. We can only hope he sings the moon a powerfully earnest song to knock it back into orbit in time to save humanity.

I have no doubt that Moonfall will be an FX spectacular. There’s very little Roland Emmerich seems to enjoy more than completely destroying human civilization. It’s being co-written with his collaborator on 2012 - which is a good sign, because 2012 was a pretty damn good disaster flick.

I saw the perfect descriptor of Emmerich’s disaster films: B-movie schlock with A-list funding.

re: #78 Targetpractice

I saw the perfect descriptor of Emmerich’s disaster films: B-movie schlock with A-list funding.

The late, great Roger Ebert summed it up beautifully:

It’s not so much that the Earth is destroyed, but that it’s done so thoroughly. “2012,” the mother of all disaster movies (and the father, and the extended family) spends half an hour on ominous set-up scenes (scientists warn, strange events occur, prophets rant and of course a family is introduced) and then unleashes two hours of cataclysmic special events hammering the Earth relentlessly.

This is fun. “2012” delivers what it promises, and since no sentient being will buy a ticket expecting anything else, it will be, for its audiences, one of the most satisfactory films of the year. It even has real actors in it. Like all the best disaster movies, it’s funniest at its most hysterical. You think you’ve seen end-of-the-world movies? This one ends the world, stomps on it, grinds it up and spits it out.

2012 particularly amused me: Apparently, all that destruction was caused by an exotic new type of neutrinos from a huge solar flare that ended up heating the Earth’s core.

I certainly chuckled when I heard that. It’s almost like a parody of pseudoscience.

Roland wanted to do a flick to address the 2012 hysteria, but he’d already done a movie with aliens and one with climate change, so it’s like he just pulled up a page on all the insane theories of what was gonna happen on Dec 22nd and stopped when he got to “polar shift” and declared “THAT’S OUR HITLER!”

OK, so one question I had back in March was how are they going to handle the updates to the Social Security Death Master File.

What I’m getting at is there should be a way of sussing out the all causes mortality numbers from that data alone. So, I’m asking, does anybody know how long it usually takes from someone being pronounced dead to having their record added to the DMF?

Because the “record count” listed in the weekly updates for the year so far don’t yet reflect the pandemic numbers.

Which seems suspicious, like they’re doing everything to bottleneck the flow of information.

Coronavirus infections in Russia are still skyrocketing, but Putin doesn’t want to look bad next to European governments, so he is easing social-distancing restrictions anyway.

Their health system is incapable of dealing with even a mild outbreak, so yeah, fuck it. It will take a lot of pressure off the state pension system…

It looks more like Putin wants to shove the blame for any bad results onto the relatively powerless pet governors of the regions. He’s easing federal restrictions, but saying that the regions can impose stricter rules if necessary. The regions are run by handpicked unelected governors, many parachuted in from other parts of the country, who have no resources or knowledge to do any of this.

If you look at his history, Putin is extremely risk-adverse, and only wants to be the bearer of good news. Like Trump, he’s only good at dealing with self-generated crises far away, and deals with them by blowing them up, locking them up, lying about them, and/or blackmailing them. These don’t work with COVID, amazingly enough. And, like Trump, he’s being yelled at by oligarchs to put the serfs back to work.

Oh, by the way, at least two Russian ventilators have caught fire in hospitals and killed at least six people. These were the same model of the ones that the US government bought from Russia last month in that hyped up shipment.

Yup. I don’t want to give a clerk coronavirus if I come down with it, but I don’t want a clerk to give it to me either.

And a clerk would be a likely vector if they get it from someone else first. (And the masks are more important towards you not giving the virus to people than avoiding getting it yourself.)

And, of course, wearing one yourself even if you’re not sick is sort of worth doing for two reasons:
1. Social stress easing since others don’t know whether you might be carrying the virus or not and everyone wearing masks is showing some consideration. (Secondarily also making it so that wearing a mask is not creating a pariah thing.)

2. You might have the virus even though you think you don’t and are asymptomatic.

I have no doubt that Moonfall will be an FX spectacular. There’s very little Roland Emmerich seems to enjoy more than completely destroying human civilization. It’s being co-written with his collaborator on 2012 - which is a good sign, because 2012 was a pretty damn good disaster flick.

True. For now, anyway.
But the Regime can (and likely will) just wait a bit, and milk Judge Sullivan’s “delaying tactics” for all the angry whining and bogus self-victimization they can (I heard Sullivan has already been dragged on Fox by that brilliant legal theorist “Judge” Jeanine

I’ve always thought the whole Flynn- case flap has been basically a sidestep attempt by Trumpworld to avoid the embarrassment of Donny having to overtly pardon one of his crooked cronies - while simultaneously trying to tar his political rivals with whatever bullshit “charges” he feels like spewing out on Twitter - outside of the RW media bubble, it doesn’t seem to be working all that well so far: but I’m sure they’ll come up with a new tack before long.

Joe Biden leads against Pres. Trump by five points nationally, and Biden also leads by 15 points among voters age 65 and older, according to a CNN/ SSRS

This is going to call for dramatic measures on the part of the GOP to ensure another EC victory.

Unless these polls change, the best thing for the GOP to do is to totally derail the election, turning it into such a massive clusterfuck that it produces no verifiable results. Then they can claim a victory by default.

The Commerce Department handles the Social Security Death Master File.

And you know what crook runs that department.

President Trump didn’t want to make preparations for the coronavirus pandemic because he was concerned doing so would sent the stock market into a panic, the Financial Times reports.

Said one Trump confidant: “Jared had been arguing that testing too many people, or ordering too many ventilators, would spook the markets and so we just shouldn’t do it… That advice worked far more powerfully on Trump than what the scientists were saying. He thinks they always exaggerate

LANSING — A key question faces protesters who gather at the Capitol on Thursday and the law enforcement officers patrolling what could be a busy scene: What does it mean to brandish a weapon?

Armed protesters who appeared at previous demonstrations outside and inside the Capitol have renewed debates about whether firearms should be allowed inside.

Firearms remain allowed, but on Tuesday, Sen. Michael Shirkey said law enforcement should act if armed protesters are seen “brandishing” weapons.
But what does ‘brandishing’ mean?

Because Trump’s tunnel vision only saw the equation “strong economy = reelection”.

He did not understand that people will rally around a President in a crisis if he demonstrates strong and resolute leadership and offers them hope and a way out, even if it means blood, tears, toil and sweat.

Because that means work, and Trump wanted to phone it in, go golfing, give rallies and let things run themselves…

Making American Reel Again

36 million out of work in just about 8 weeks.

Worst economy since the Great Depression. And the effects were nearly entirely avoidable had Trump followed the Obama pandemic playbook to use aggressive testing, support states efforts and coordinate from the get-go.

Instead, he ignored the problem, watched as his fellow GOPers profited from insider info, and tried his hand at market manipulation himself repeatedly.

The result? Trillions in economic damage, a stock market that is being held up by vaporware and ignores that Main Street is decimated and that we’ve seen 85,000+ dead Americans in 2 months with no sign of this ending anytime soon even as states reopen before they’ve even managed to contain the spread.

TAX RETURN CASES: WHY THE SUPREME COURT HAS TO PRETEND TRUMP IS A NORMAL PRESIDENT
This is the last stand for the idea that the president—any president—isn’t above the law. And though Trump is the subject, Chief Justice Roberts is really on trial. by Cristian Farias, Vanity Fair

Federal immigration law, Roberts told us in his ruling upholding Trump’s decision to shut out travelers from Muslim-majority countries, “exudes deference to the president.” But as a private citizen and businessperson who happens to be president, the equities are different. In both cases, which stem from attempts by the House of Representatives and Manhattan district attorney Cyrus Vance to seek financial records and other documents going back several years, Trump was the one who initiated the litigation, running to federal court to quash a series of congressional and prosecutorial requests that weren’t directed to him personally, but to financial and accounting firms holding records belonging to his businesses, his adult children, and related entities.

Long, but interesting, since Rep Steve King was saying he was going to get all his seniority back (maybe not, and maybe he won’t win his primary):

From the Daily Kos Elections email on this race:

• IA-04: State Sen. Randy Feenstra is out with another poll of the June 2 GOP primary that shows him gaining ground, though still narrowly trailing, white supremacist Rep. Steve King. The new survey by the firm American Viewpoint gives King a 39-36 edge over Feenstra, while the rest of the field takes a combined 9% of the vote. This is an improvement for Feenstra from the late April poll he released that showed the incumbent up 41-34.

The House GOP leadership stripped King of all of his committee assignments early last year after he mused to the New York Times, “White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization—how did that language become offensive?” Both Feenstra and his allies at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which recently went up with a $200,000 ad buy, have run ads portraying King as completely ineffective and unable to look out for his rural western Iowa seat now that he’s lost his posts, including his spot on the “vital” House Agriculture Committee. However, King has been arguing in recent weeks that his exile is only temporary.

In late April, King said that he and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy had reached “an understanding.” He continued, “The only barrier in the way of putting back all my committees, perhaps incrementally as there are openings that can be created, is to get a formal meeting of the steering committee because they’re officially the ones who make that decision.”

McCarthy didn’t say anything to confirm or deny this claim, and King made a similar one at a forum on Monday. “On April 20, Kevin McCarthy and I reached an agreement that he would advocate to the steering committee to put all of my committees back, all of my seniority.” McCarthy has remained silent through Wednesday afternoon, but unnamed sources close to him told Politico that he’d only allowed King to make his argument “at some point” to the GOP steering committee, which handles committee assignments, for why he should be reinstated in the next Congress.

There are 35 votes on the committee (McCarthy has four, Minority Whip Steve Scalise has two, and the remaining members have one vote each), and two members have already come out and said they oppose restoring King. Ohio Rep. Steve Stivers, who chaired the NRCC last cycle, declared that King “will not be serving on any committee,” while a spokesperson for Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, who is the third-ranking Republican in the leadership, said she also didn’t support King.

While King is arguing he deserves to be rehabilitated, he characteristically isn’t showing the slightest bit of contrition for his pro-white supremacist comments. King has constantly argued that the Times misquoted him, and at a recent debate he said of his opponents, “They’re all here because they believe the New York Times.”

Two good articles on Press Run, Eric Boehlert’s blog:

Small “reopen” protests grab media attention — remember when huge anti-war rallies got ignored?
The so-called liberal media

Why are small bands of right-wing protesters deemed to be more important than huge throngs of liberal ones? That’s the media question that arises as modest clumps of “reopen America” activists continue to garner a huge amount of press attention, even though their numbers remain slight, and an overwhelmingly majority of Americans disagree with their message. Back when tens of thousands of liberals rallied against the Iraq War, the press often took a very different approach to them, downplaying their significance.

Desperate to turn attention away from America’s run-away pandemic death toll, now hurtling towards 100,000 by the end of the month, Trump and Fox News are rolling out a choreographed distraction called “Obamagate.” Even more hollow and bogus than previous White House attempts to discredit his popular predecessor, the scheme is all about public relations and media manipulation. It will only work if the Beltway press takes the bait.

I find I agree with him a lot. I’m a subscriber.

Train wrecks are pretty popular too. People slow down to look at them.

I know we don’t really need more proof of it, but Jesus Christ, Republicans are trying to get us all killed:

(WaPo) On Wednesday night in the heart of downtown Platteville, Wis., just hours after the Wisconsin Supreme Court threw out the state’s stay-at-home order, Nick’s on 2nd was packed wall to wall, standing room only.

It was sometime after 10 p.m. when “Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress” by the Hollies came over the sound system and a bartender took out his camera. In a Twitter broadcast, he surveyed the room of maskless patrons crammed together, partying like it was 2019. A few were pounding on the bar to the beat. Some were clapping their hands in the air and some were fist-pumping, a scene so joyous they could have been celebrating the end of the worst pandemic in a century.

Instead, as Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers (D) knew, they were just celebrating the apparent end of his power over them — at least for now.

“We’re the Wild West,” Evers told MSNBC’s Ali Velshi on Wednesday night, reacting to the state Supreme Court’s ruling and the scenes of people partying in bars all across Wisconsin. “There are no restrictions at all across the state of Wisconsin. … So at this point in time … there is nothing that’s compelling people to do anything other than having chaos here.”

Chaos it was.

Right after the Supreme Court’s conservative majority issued a 4-to-3 ruling, invalidating the extension of the stay-at-home order issued by Evers’s appointed state health chief, the Tavern League of Wisconsin instructed its members to feel free to “OPEN IMMEDIATELY!”

Photo of a crowd at a bar in Wisconsin last night:

I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that A) The Wisconsin Supreme Court leans heavily Republican and B) A good number of people in this photo will be sick in a couple of weeks time.

If you believed the COVID-19 outbreak would cause repulsive people to consider an indefinite hold on their grossness, you are just adorable. Cannibal-curious Alex Jones is at it again. This time he’s defaming frontline health care workers with putrid conspiracy theories. He’s claimed without evidence, as his wont, that hospital workers were straight-up murdering patients, saying they died of COVID-19, and raking in the profits as part of a diabolical “globalist eugenics plot.” And the brilliance of this plan is its simplicity.

No one has time for this “X-Files” shit. In the real world, Fox Mulder is an asshole because there are no government conspiracies. Aliens aren’t infecting us with COVID-19 as a part of an overly complicated invasion strategy.

Here’s what this fool said on the May 5 edition of his show.

Sizable, yes, but probably under 20%. They will keep whacking away at it, trying to raise that percentage, but I’m betting it’s a losing battle. As restrictions are lifted, the virus will take advantage, and the 80% that believe in reality (at least as far as covid-19 is concerned), will be confirmed in that belief by the cases and deaths on the ground.

Not sure they will be able to villainize the individual health care workers, because they all know some, are family members of some. May even be supported by some. So that is an uphill climb, too.

The media will report all their thrashing around, of course, and Fox and OANN will make a hash of it. SNAFU.

i made it to the point where for the second time, early in the movie, the world fell away behind the plane as the family escaped. it was just idiotic to imagine that things would be timed up like that, twice.

To be fair, apparently the original concept for the movie was to be a parody of every disaster film for the past 40 years. Think of it as basically closer to a comedy but then the CGI took over and it became a little more serious — but its original purpose peeked throughout the film.

No way to tell at this point as we know very little about the virus.

Then we have to address the issue of availability and distribution, which could also really turn out to be a clusterfuck given the way that many nations handled ventilators and other protective gear & supplies…

But until then, the disease will be with us. A national testing strategy could do much to track and contain it, but I do not see that coming as our leader has made it clear that he does not like testing…

The GOP keeps falling back to the same bulkshit because they’ve got nothing else.

They have to keep hoping someone believes that HCQ type treatments are valid because there’s no strategy to stop the spread nationally. And the body count will keep rising without one.

HCQ and zinc is the latest attempt to claim that HCQ does something.

The reality is that HCQ is not a valid treatment no matter what it’s paired with. It’s got too many deadly side effects and shouldn’t be considered. Zinc? It might be no better than a placebo. You’d have to test zinc separate from HCQ and placebos as a double blind to see if there’s any effect.

I see FB postings claiming that NYU had a study showing HCQ+zinc is successful, but Langone is first beginning to study this. They’d have results some time this summer after enrolling 2000 people.

They’re latching on to early indicators that zinc plus other stuff can benefit. There’s a whole lot of wishful thinking here that this is a valid treatment.

Pol Pot and Stalin were Communists. They were concerned about their power first. Leftist Communists were purged by Lenin early on in his rule. Pol Pot executed people who wore glasses because he felt that represented education, the very thing conservatives for 2,000 years have promoted as vital to civilisation. /s

Robespierre? Worked for that famous liberal Napoleon. After going after the aristocracy (remember, Napoleon made himself new aristocracy taking the title Emperor), Robespierre went after minor functionaries of government such as civil servants (remind you of anyone), then after anyone who opposed the Committee on Public Safety (whether wanting crueler policies or less cruel ones).

The literal only good thing Robespierre did was abolish slavery in the French Empire.

what happens when you elect an idiot

President Trump threatened China on Fox Business for the country’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

Said Trump: “There are many things we could do. We could cut off the whole relationship.”

He added: “Now, if you did, what would happen? You’d save $500 billion if you cut off the whole relationship.

what the fucking fuck?

Snake oil salesmen.

I watched a few questions and it was clear that the Republicans are continuing with their efforts to make hydroxychoroquine a success to support Trump. None of them appeared to acknowledge that the reason so many doctors have been requesting that drug was solely due to Trump’s promotion of it as a treatment — and not because they read a journal or medical newsletter that recommended its use.

electoral-vote.com this am

If a Vaccine Is Available, Will People Get It?

Many research groups are racing to discover a vaccine for COVID-19. Hopefully, one or more will succeed. However, that is only the first step. The second step is to test it thoroughly. If it passes the tests, the third step is to manufacture and distribute a few billion doses. Those are all the “easy” parts. The hard part will be convincing everyone to get the vaccine, as opposition is far-reaching and growing.

Anti-vaxxers are already campaigning against it by spreading lies all over social media.

Anti-vax protesters don’t break cleanly along partisan lines. They come from both the left and the right, which makes them extra hard to battle.

Unmasking is when someone in a department, like State, decides that it’s important to know the identity of an American in order to do their job. Flynn was talking to foreign agents, and varioius departments that needed to know abou the agents also came to realize they needed to know who was on the other end of the line.

Remember when Trump touted the Abbott labs rapid covid19 test? You know, the presser where Trump showed off the machine upside down?

Yeah?

Well, turns out that independent study suggests that the test is unreliable and should not be used.

A new study from New York University found that Abbott Laboratories’ rapid COVID-19 coronavirus test, which gives results in less than 13 minutes, missed diagnosing up to half of known positive cases, signifying a major potential hindrance to ramping up testing in the United States.

In fact, this is the same NYU that’s conducting a covid19 study re: HCQ and athryomycin and zinc (that right wingers are touting as a miracle cure, when there’s no evidence that HCQ is what’s causing any of the results, especially when other studies had to be stopped over deadly side effects and consequences).

This rapid test is what Trumpworld had been using at the WH.

Just so we are clear…he says that Democrats would rather see more death than have him get re-elected, while at the same time he is leaning on (mostly) Democratic governors to re-open despite not satisfying CDC guidelines.

The gaslighting is tiresome.

True: Burr’s NC colleague Thom Tillis was recently polling at - what? nine points down to the Dem challenger?

(And in any case, NC law specifies that “replacement” Senate appointees have be from the same party as the old one. Though who NC’s (D) governor might appoint is an interesting question)

Found the kid playing with her dog instead of Zooming with her teacher. She told me not to worry. She took a screenshot of herself “paying attention,” then cut her video & replaced it with the picture. “It’s a gallery view of 20 kids, mom. They can’t tell.” She is 10.

And come November, the state may well disown Tillis as well…..

Though a more-thorough look says that NC - like many another state - has to have a “replacement” Senator stand at the “next general election” - or at least someone has to. It would be delicious to see both of NC’s Senate seats (like Georgia’s) come up in a possible “blue wave” year: but, sadly, probably unlikely…..

So how does this cast Obama, et. al., as criminals?

It’s the mirror-verse.

Trumpers are trying to claim that Obama was wire-tapping Flynn. In truth, they were wiretapping various Russians and Turks and so on, who were speaking with Unspecified US Person. The conversations alarmed them enough that they decided they needed to know who was saying those things to Russia and Turkey, so they unmasked Unspecified US Person and that’s where they first realized it was Flynn.

once again, if you don’t want to get recorded on a wire tap, don’t talk to people likely to be wire tapped.

A fight started on the front steps of the Michigan State Capitol building after a man carrying a Barbie doll from a noose claimed it was Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

Investigators said the man brought an ax or hatchet of some sort to the protest with the Barbie attached to an American Flag. The ax was confiscated by Michigan State Police.

I would like to think that all of Jared’s MBA-speak leads to failure. However, I have this ominous feeling that we don’t really know everything Jared’s done. What’s been made public is bad enough, but he’s probably been using his security clearance to gather massive amounts of information. Jared’s post White House income will be generated on all the blackmail.
