Chuck C. Johnson and His Neo-Nazi Friends
By now many people realize that right wing blogger Chuck C. Johnson (who is NOT ME) is one of the worst people on the Internet, but just to really drive this point home, let’s take a look at how often Chuck uses Twitter to spread the hate speech of white supremacists and neo-Nazis, shall we?
One of the disgusting things for which Chuck is justly infamous was his outing of Ebola patient Nina Pham; he published her name and full address on Twitter and was (briefly) suspended for it. But Chuck also retweeted a white supremacist who called for Nina Pham’s dog to be put down.

Here’s Chuck’s excuse for retweeting white supremacists — he says it would be “racist” not to:
Is that also why you post links to white supremacist websites? @ChuckCJohnson

When the news broke that Rep. Steve Scalise had spoken to a white supremacist organization, Chuck immediately mounted a full-throated defense of Scalise — and of the white supremacists as well.
Why can politicians speak at black or Latin supremacist organizations but not white supremacist organizations? #scalise

Anyone surprised to see @ChuckCJohnson defending Scalise for speaking at a white supremacist conference? “Alleged?” pic.twitter.com/iNGDFsyxMQ

In which @ChuckCJohnson describes speaking at a David Duke white supremacist conference as “constituent outreach.” pic.twitter.com/H96sx1NGOj

If anyone who attends a white supremacist event is a white supremacist everyone who attends a communist conference is a communist. #scalise

To @ChuckCJohnson, the word of a white supremacist is absolutely credible. and yes, he did call it “blood libel.” pic.twitter.com/UH2kBVxKdX

Chuck even directly quoted a white supremacist screed written by a segregationist:
The saying comes from “The Mantra,” a white supremacist screed written by an avowed segregationist: http://t.co/PPHW38a0mJ @ChuckCJohnson

Chuck has an affinity for Nazi theories of eugenics:
Just because a political group that we don’t like (Nazis, etc.) discovers something scientific doesn’t make the science less true.
— Charles C. Johnson (@ChuckCJohnson) January 30, 2015
And over and over, Chuck retweets the vile racist comments of overt neo-Nazis and white supremacists:
LOL. @ChuckCJohnson just retweeted an out and out racist with “14 words” and “Stop #WhiteGenocide” in their bio. pic.twitter.com/xE9Ta7ZDke

Of course you are; he runs a white supremacist site. RT @ChuckCJohnson: I’m a big fan of Ron Unz and would love to meet him one day.

This is just a small sampling; there are lots more where these came from. Chuck also frequently links to white nationalist and supremacist websites, and has expressed his admiration many times for the “scientific racism” of the discredited book The Bell Curve.
So the next time someone treats Chuck as just a harmless crank, remember: he’s actually spreading and promoting the most noxious kinds of racism and hate speech.
