A Sublime Tiny Desk Concert by 15-Year Old Piano Maestro Joey Alexander

Nov. 30, 2018 | Lauren Onkey — When a baby grand piano rolls into the office for a Tiny Desk concert, you expect something special. But none of us could have imagined what it’s like to see 15-year old Joey Alexander play that piano with such mastery. The thing is, when you see him play live, you quickly forget his age and get lost in the intense focus of his performance. Alexander and his stellar supporting cast — Reuben Rogers on bass and Kendrick Scott on drums — form a tight trio, locking eyes as Alexander’s compositions unfold. The relaxed, seasoned veterans looked thrilled to be playing with Alexander at the Tiny Desk, and he was clearly inspired playing with them. The crowd was both mesmerized and humbled by the memories of what they were doing at 15.

Born in Indonesia, Alexander learned to play by listening to his father’s jazz albums. When he was just 10-years old, Wynton Marsalis invited him to play at a Jazz at Lincoln Center gala, and the young Alexander set the jazz world buzzing. He made his mark covering classics by Thelonious Monk and John Coltrane, but he’s now recording and performing more of his own compositions. He showcased that original work during his Tiny Desk performance. Alexander’s vigorously rhythmic playing was playful in the opening “Eclipse” (from his latest album of the same name), which he described as “spontaneous playing.” “Bali,” also from Eclipse, followed, while “City Lights” (from his 2016 album Countdown) closed a set that ranks among the year’s finest jazz performances at the Tiny Desk.

Really not important, but this is such a great love song from the end of the last thread:

re: #316 Barefoot Grin

Sorry. I just finished a huge raft of work and have had a bit of some high-powered IPA, but here is my contribution to the earlier discussion of “rapture” dealing mainly with Blondie: Patti Smith’s “Frederick” (“after the rapture two hearts meet…”). I love this song so much.

Weird lights over NYC metro… didn’t see it directly.

My guess? With the overcast/broken skies, we probably had some kind of meteorite. I think we’re too far south to see the aurora, and it’s not particularly strong tonight either.

UPDATE:
Digging deeper - may have been a transformer explosion at a ConEd plant, as newer videos seem to show arcing in vicinity of a ConEd plant in Queens.

I support a Beto candidacy, and think he would make a good candidate in either of the top two spots. But it really is name recognition.

Also, though, for those of you worried about him being unknown, he’s in third, behind a VP and a prior presidential runner.

I think the thing Re: Sanders and Warren especially Sanders is it’s seen as being who is the most progressive not who is the most effective or would be the best President. I want a President that can get crap done. Frankly there’s nothing about Sanders that suggests he has a plan to me. I still remember his “Well the people will just protest” if the GOP doesn’t go along with my plans and it just struck me as painfully naive and not really a plan.

Infrastructure failures ought to be expected.

Our society is just too much into immediate gratification. This is one of my complaints against flippers.

But the problem manifests at every scale of society.

I suppose I’m sounding like an old-fashioned puritan, but so much that is sold to America is just a flash in the pan.

My dad did that to his cousin. Dad was over at his cousin’s house while she and her husband were gone. They had a Pomeranian but would leave the dog in the back yard all the time; it was covered into those really small leaves from some tree that are really good at getting tangled up in hair. A couple drove up asking if my dad knew where the animal shelter was because they were looking to get a dog. My dad reached over the fence, picked up the dog, and gave it to them. Told his cousin later that it was gone when he got there. I wasn’t going to say anything. The cousin had bought the dog because it was cute and after a while decided it wasn’t.

Saw this on the evening news tonite, and we were amazingly pleased to find out that the NJ cow-on-the-highway story had a happy ending after all. After (reportedly) five hours (sic) of efforts - and endless cheesy puns from newsreaders trying to milk the story for all they could - the cow was finally recaptured. But rather than resume its journey to the slaughterhouse, Bossy will be taken to an animal rescue facility instead. A far more fitting reward for her efforts, we thought…

The brief week every year where my wife and I are a year closer in age is over as I turn 59 today. As my wife is working the evening shift, she had my first part of the day planned out to deliver her slutty brownies and apple cider to our friends around town so that made it easy for everyone to wish me happy birthday…lol! While out I stopped by the pet store to load up on cat treats and I made sure to hit up my favorite head shop and get my senior and birthday discounts as I’m a cheap (I think I’m supposed to say “frugal” now) old dude. I saw BOC in late ‘76 on their Agents of Fortune tour in Spokane. Festival seating (free roaming on the floor or grab a seat), lots of weed was being passed around and some good acid was dropped.

I remember it and it was good. Real good.

Saw them on the Secret Treaties tour at Vet’s Memorial in Columbus. They had almost the same exact sound live as on their albums from what I remember, very polished.

Damn long time ago. Good show.

At one time, ‘74 to say ‘77, you could see outdoor concerts all over Ohio with a mixture of Ted Nugent, Styx, Montrose, Foghat and Blue Oyster Cult in some combination or another with a regional band or two mixed in.

Our daughter is making something with steak and shrimp in it for dinner and my wife whipped up a chocolate cheesecake for dessert last night.

The best present is having another birthday and that’s what I want next year. My wife and our kids agree. :)

Happy birthday! It’s my birthday today too!

Looking back, I’m surprised how many good bands visited Spokane throughout the 70’s & 80’s. Most were indoor venue though I did see Heart/BTO at the Spokane Fairgrounds in the 70’s and The Monsters of Rock 1988 tour at Joel Albi Stadium there. Eagles, Motley Crue, Ozzy, Scorps, Van Halen/Van Hagar, Montrose, Def Leppard, SuperTramp, Rush, Journey, ZZ Top, Night Ranger, Ratt, Cinderella, Metallica and too many others to list. I still have a load of concert tees, bandanas and headbands that I stashed away (I also have some well-worn ones I wear on occasion). I’ve seen some great shows and have even met Jennifer Batten (guitar clinic at a friend’s shop) and Yngwie Malmsteen (won full access backstage pass).

Good times. Damned good! :)

A reminder: it’s percentage change that matters not the dollar change. Back in 1987, the Dow Jones was about one tenth of today’s level— and we saw similar volatility. A movement of 600 today is comparable to 60 back then. But the news media focuses on the dollar change to exaggerate the effect — the old, if it bleeds, it leads.

Agreed. Back during the ‘87 crash, I was sitting on an oil rig in the North Sea. THAT was a big percentage drop. But the instability in the markets right now are a still a cause of concern. Everybody is looking for some stability, and it’s just not there.

I look at 53% and I wonder, why so low?

Why not 63%? I know that there are about 30% to 35% of voters who are MAGAts and Ever Trumpers, but who, exactly is still sitting on the fence?

His economic policies are screwing the economy, his foreign policy has been a disaster, our standing with the world community at this point makes us look like Shriners in clown cars, and yet there is still a 15% chunk of voters who won’t take a stand.

I mean, what does have to do? Throw our staunchest ally in the war against terrorism in the Middle East under a bus? Oh, wait…

Remove us from a Climate Change accord that the US championed? Oh, wait…

Pull us out of an agreement that put hard and fast controls on a country that could produce nukes, in conjunction with our closest allies? Oh, wait…

Of course they are, they are thoroughly brainwashed. But not everyone who voted for Trump are Trumpers who are committed to him, and even including them he only got 46% of the vote. The Resistance isn’t wearing down, but the summer of ‘17 the GOP was still trying to take away everyone’s healthcare which was massively unpopular so it was damaging Trump’s popularity. The stock market notwithstanding (most Americans don’t own much, if any, stock) the economy is still churning out jobs and the GOP hasn’t been making much effort lately to take health insurance away from middle class Americans, so Trump’s support has remained stable at about 42%, pretty low for a President when unemployment is only 3.7% His support is dipping even lower because of the shutdown, but it will recover back up to around 42% after its over. I don’t expect it to improve significantly above that, because Trump is an awful human being the majority of women loathe, and he is going to be getting a lot of bad news from Mueller and all of the other prosecutors investigating the Trump crime family.

Quelle surprise.

A lingering financial scandal involving Brazilian President-elect Jair Bolsonaro’s son has soured his inauguration next week and tarnished the reputation of a far-right maverick who surged to victory on a vow to end years of political horsetrading.

Bolsonaro, who spent nearly 30 years in Congress, takes office on Jan. 1 after an electoral win that gave him a mandate to hobble violent drug gangs, cut through red tape to kick-start Brazil’s economy and go after the corrupt political class.

But a regulator’s questions about a bank account of the former driver of his son, Rio de Janeiro state lawmaker and Senator-elect Flavio Bolsonaro, has clouded his big day, leading critics to doubt the president-elect’s graft-busting credentials and his ability to deliver a new type of politics.

Jair Bolsonaro, Flavio Bolsonaro and the former driver, Fabricio Queiroz, have denied any wrongdoing.

My youngest first cousin’s daughter, and my oldest first cousin’s youngest son, were both born in the same hospital on the same Christmas day. (My aunt and my eldest cousin were kind of stoked about that.)

They handle Christmas by doing Christmas presents and such on the 24th and their birthday parties on the 25th (with a dual birthday party).

Notice that some poorly written pop-articles are showing up on time-travel… even by physicists.

My general criticism is that the nature of the problem is over-simplified for the purposes of writing short articles.

This is especially true when it comes to cosmology. There is a great deal of too-simple explanations of the key problems.

Mostly the authors ignore the horizon problem. It’s all too easy to ignore it. And then there is an even deeper, philosophical adjunct, which I also call the horizon problem - namely, we are limited by the speed of light in what we can actually observe. To make the assertion (as so many pop writers do) that what exists (ontology) is limited to what is observable (our horizon) is very anthropocentric.

A Russian bank gave Marine Le Pen’s party a loan. Then weird things began happening. (Washington Post, more at the link):

PARIS — When French politician Marine Le Pen needed cash for her far-right party, an obscure Russian bank agreed to help.

Four years later, the bank has gone bust. The owner is facing a warrant for his arrest. Former Russian military officers are demanding money. And the party’s treasurer is sending off some $165,000 every few months to a woman in Moscow, unsure of where the payments ultimately will go.

The money failed to deliver Le Pen the French presidency in last year’s election, denying the Kremlin a powerful ally in the heart of Europe. Instead, the 9.4 million-euro loan, then worth $12.2 million, dragged her party into the shadowy underworld of Russian cross-border finance, putting it in league with people accused of having ties to Russian organized crime, money laundering and military operations.

Yup. That article also goes into different non-government entities in Russia implementing small, individual plans which they believe will advance Putin’s stated policy goals, as a means of currying favour if successful.

The idea is that not just Russia’s foreign ministry, or FSB, or SVR try to implement policy or engage in espionage; a huge sector of the country is employed in a sort of ad-hoc effort to advance Russia’s goals.

Chinese scientists have turned copper into a material that’s ‘almost identical’ to gold (Business Insider, more at the link):

They don’t have a very good description of the electrical characteristics of gold versus copper (but this is a business magazine, not an engineering or physics one).

A team of Chinese researchers has turned cheap copper into a new material “almost identical” to gold, according to a study published on Saturday in the peer-reviewed journal Science Advances.

The discovery could significantly reduce the use of rare, expensive metals in factories, the authors said.

Professor Sun Jian and his colleagues at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Liaoning, shot a copper target with a jet of hot, electrically charged argon gas.

The fast-moving ionised particles blasted copper atoms off the target. The atoms cooled down and condensed on the surface of a collecting device, producing a thin layer of sand.

re: #173 Anymouse 🌹

I don’t think this process will threaten the gold market for industrial use, as the article implies. The procedure used to create these “gold-like” copper particles requires wild amounts of energy to produce tiny amounts of the copper particles.

It is an interesting look into sub-atomic physics, however.

Both time travel and cosmology are difficult subjects to teach, because both require substantial understanding of basic physics. Ask me how I know. Many scientists assume the average reader has that understanding, which is really overestimating the skill level of the average reader. When we are still dealing with people who question whether the earth is round and orbiting the sun in the 21st century, we can see the average reader is probably pretty ignorant.

Another problem is math. Americans suck at math. To accept, much less understand, physics and astronomy, the layman needs to understand the mathematical arguments that underlie the predictions from either science. When the typical person has trouble with ratios, percentages, and graphical representations of data, expecting them to deal with exponential limits (speed of light) and the inverse-square law (gravity) is a real stretch.

Gold is used where it is used because A: it won’t corrode, and 2: it can be beaten out or plated on incredibly thin. This process might imitate the first, but not the second.

I’m not so sure it’s just Americans (though we certainly have plenty of whackaloons here).

As scientists across all fields uncover more and more information about how the world works, that information seems to grow in a manner similar to Moore’s Law for computers.

At some point it becomes impossible to grasp everything, as our knowledge outstrips our brains to process it. (That might explain biologists who are also creationists.)

The Inverse Square Law (Coulomb’s Law) is used for a lot more than cosmology (for example, electromagnetism).

Alvin Toffler in Future Shock referred to this information overload, IIRC. Being a generalist is not nearly as easy as it was back in the early days of the scientific revolution. People end up being specialists because our brains can only retain so much information reliably.

My concern is the number of people in the USA (and yes elsewhere) who do not even have a basic scientific understanding of the world around them. I believe it’s the same people who cannot distinguish between fact and opinion, or who believe there can be “alternative facts.”

I’ve been a teacher for 35 years. Believe me when I tell you some people just never learn, no matter how hard we try to teach them. They may remember things just long enough to pass their exams, but they do not internalize those facts. No school anywhere teaches that the world is flat, and instruction in several disciplines presupposes a round Earth, yet there are people who insist the world is flat because lame reasons.

Insert George Carlin quote about stupid people here.

In business news:

Sears, the 125-year-old icon, has 24 hours to survive.

The employer of more than 68,000 filed for bankruptcy in October. Its last shot at survival is a $4.6 billion proposal put forward by its chairman, Eddie Lampert, to buy the company out of bankruptcy through his hedge fund, ESL Investments. ESL is the only party offering to buy Sears as a whole, people familiar with the situation tell CNBC. Without that bid or another like it, liquidators will break the company up into pieces.

But as Lampert stares down a deadline of Dec. 28 to submit his offer, he is quickly running out of time. As of Thursday afternoon, Lampert had neither submitted his bid, nor rounded up financing, the people familiar said. Should Lampert submit a bid, Sears’ advisors would have until Jan. 4 to decide whether he is a “qualified bidder.” Only then, could ESL take part in an auction against liquidation bids on Jan. 14.

It is possible Lampert, Sears’ largest investor, secures financing in time to meet the deadline, these people said. The hedge fund manager turned retailer has managed last-minute feats before. Due to requirements by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Lampert will be required to make his bid public. That stipulation that could sway him to prolong the filing until its exact deadline of 4:00 p.m. ET Friday.

cnbc.com

Lampert has until 2200 CET to pull this off. We’ll see.

Oh, wait…

Greets and saluts from the NYC metro area… the day after the Quickening (and yeah, I got the location of Silvercup Studios wrong… my bad - that’s LIC, not Astoria - but Queens is a big place and it’s not like it was Brooklyn or anything).

Trump’s gone on about the wall and threatening to shut down trade if he doesn’t get his way.

He’s determined to cause the stock markets to spasm again. Because of course he is. He doesn’t know or care the damage he’s doing - unless he thinks the damage is precisely what his base wants. They think that this helps them?

Trump is pandering to his bigot brigade base, and is pushing his white nationalist policy because it’s clear that he and they fear nonwhite children and women. He fears all of it.

What they’re not really telling you is that in many ways, our govt simply steered in this direction to cut costs; also the way both the judiciary and prosecutor’s office have had to cut their budgets simply makes for less convictions overall.
If anything we’ve gotten a bit tough(er) on crime over the past decade or so. I dunno, but BI seems to be seeing just what they want to see.

I mean, sure, a lot of what they’re describing works - but it’s done so for a couple of decades now. What you’re seeing here is a justice system that at this point is prioritising only large-scale fraud and violent offences for budgetary reasons.
I’ll dig into it a bit more later on but I’m 99,99% sure we’re not really diverting that many more offenders to alternative (non-detention) punishment. Not in a recent timeframe, anyway.
Sure there will be more ankle monitors - more affordable now - but community service and other similar interventions were here decades ago.

…And tbh the way the police (and prosecution, to be fair) seem to simply not care about individual online fraud etc, certainly not in the way mail fraud or wire fraud are, from what I can tell, often times vigorously prosecuted in the US, to the point where most citizens are simply too apathetic to even file a police report any more, would in no small part account for suspiciously low crime stats.

Sorry, I like a lot about our criminal justice system in theory, but we’re not even close to that kind of an example. Not really, not if you look at the reality beyond statistics fudged by likely historically low reporting rates.

edit: and oh yeah, fair enough - lax drug laws (and ditto enforcement) help. OTOH, if anything they’ve tightened that up considerably over the past 10-20 years. So again… Eeeehhhh.

pigs - the hotel and the police

in all of these 911 while black calls, there is a sad reality
the targets have rights, shouldnt be detained or searched or whatever
they have been, generally, in the right

and still unfortunately once the call is made your stay at the hotel, or your dinner, or your visit to the park or wherever is screwed

once the call is made (even without your knowledge) you arent going to get to exercise your rights to be served a meal, stay in a room you paid for, sit in any public accommodation (starbucks), assembly, etc

Well, I wonder why a bunch of rich Hollywood types would be so infatuated with Ayn Rand?

Could it be because they have so much money and ego to entertain such a lifestyle?

I keep in mind Scientology is also big in Hollywood.

Bottom line…ego is what it is all about. All this crap feeds into that ego and pumps it up so much how could any other “ism” be legit if I with the ego doesn’t subscribe.

Why shouldn’t they? The military isn’t supposed to be political. If there were Hope and Change signs at an Obama-military event, there would have been cries that OBAMA IS TRYING TO USE THE MILITARY AS HIS OWN PERSONAL GUARD. So yeah absolutely they should. What has made our military work for so long is that it’s apolitical. And those military men and women who wore Trump gear definitely violated that spirit.

Hell I think even that’s a little naive since a lot of success is based off whom we know. The trouble with Rand’s philosophy if you can call it that is it doesn’t take into account any human factors. In that way, Objectivism isn’t too different from doctrinaire Marxism.

Precisely. Doesn’t matter if it’s capitalism, socialism, communism, etc. As I’ve observed, while the ideology itself is very different, libertarianism and Marxism aren’t too different in how the mind approaches them which is why I personally think why some former staunch Marxists easily go to the other extreme. If Trump’s goal is to sabotage functioning government, he’s succeeding.
If his goal is to sabotage the economy, he’s succeeding.
If his goal is to undermine civil and voting rights, he’s succeeding.

This is what Trump and the GOP were doing. The wall is the the value signaling to his bigoted base, all while Trump is sabotaging functioning government and spewing nonsense.

The GOP aren’t interested in governing or legislating. They’re out to sabotage government and gut funding so they can redistribute the money to their billionaire benefactors. Russia has coopted them to further their goals. The GOP didn’t need convincing or payoffs either - they did it because they simply shared what they thought was a common goal.

Russia’s goal is to sufficiently weaken the US so Russia can do as it pleases around the world. China benefits tangentially as do all our other rivals and enemies.

Trump’s sheer dumbfuckery and incompetence only add to Russia’s luck in all this. They couldn’t have picked a better tool to undermine the American political system.

Trump’s desire to sabotage the current government system was obvious in the beginning from the people he appointed to specific lead positions. I suspect he’s an unintentional, if not full blown intentional, acolyte of Randian economics & may even share Bannon’s faith in and intentional initialization of the Fourth Turning philosophy.

I wonder how Trump’s doubling down on threats if he doesn’t get his Wall funding is going to play in Congress? I can easily imagine the House simply passing the “old” CR (sans Wall funding) - the Senate is going to be the problem. Yeah, they passed it last session, but it’s going to be another world after January 3 - Mitch McConnell is going to be the key player (unfortunately for the country, IMO, but there we are). Even more unfortunately, his main choice is going to be between the governance of the nation, and pissing off Trump supporters. Or the “President”, but I’m not sure how much Sen. Yertle really cares….

If he closes the border, then shippers will not be able to make just-in-time deliveries to businesses in the USA needing those items. Americans living in Mexico will not be able to drive across the border, a convenience many appreciate. Long story short, Trump would be shooting the USA in the foot by closing the border.

And that’s the long and short of it: The DNC offered Trump $25B earlier this year in exchange for citizenship for Dreamers. And the GOP hardliners killed the offer dead within 24hrs. Suggesting now that the DNC put forward an offer of Dreamer citizenship or renewal of the DACA in exchange for 1/5th of that previous offer would not only be rejected, it would be self-defeating because the GOP would see it as a sign that the DNC are buckling under pressure.

You have to realize, in Trump’s simpleminded worldview, “Mexico” is a monolithic entity, comprised of the government, people, businesses, etc. of Mexico, that all act as a single unit. In Stockholm local news, the Kaknäs Tower has been closed to the public until further notice. Initially, it was said that it was because it would cost the operator Teracom too much money to get the place up to code. However, State TV today revealed that it was because there is an increased security threat against the tower, and the answer of the Teracom rep they interviewed suggests that it was foreign operatives have made attempts at compromising the tower more than terrorism that motivated the closure of the tower to the public, which they described as a very difficult decision to make.
This means that both the Kaknäs Tower and the Hammarby Tower are protected objects closed off to the public (the latter has always been a protected object since it was built in 1986).
So. One of these signs with “Länsstyrelsen Stockholm” instead of “Försvarsmakten” at the bottom will be at the sites…

Ditto for “The Saudis”, not understanding that we are taking sides in a power struggle in supporting MBS: a power struggle that may not play out in our favor.

Hard to say. Goldwater was definitely a dyed in the wool conservative, and the intellectual conservative movement grew from the ashes of his 1964 campaign. But the Conservative Movement (tm) isn’t really the GOP base, at least not as the GOP is constructed today. The GOP today is a grievance-based populist cult of personality. They deserve Trump, unfortunately, the rest of us don’t.

He’s a true believer in that he believes whatever narcissism and expediency demands in the moment. Another way to think of it is that he believes he’s a God, someone so important and powerful that he can shape reality with his own thoughts. From his point of view everyone who told him he needed to modulate his speech / tweets, his xenophobia, religious intolerance and misogyny was proven wrong once and for all when he won the Presidency. He sees himself as someone who creates their own weather patterns and therefore nobody else matters except inasmuch as they worship him, can be used or destroyed by him. The only obvious exception to this rule is Putin, who clearly terrifies him and possesses real, devastating kompromat.

Reagan in 1980 might be the closest, but even in that case, most of Anderson’s 6% probably came from liberal/moderate Republicans.

And while I believe Trump’s ceiling might be the lowest of any American president since we’ve had polling, I think his floor may prove to be as low or lower than most.

I’m back. What fresh hell did I miss?

The 300W light in my cyclone cellar which keeps my kitchen pipes warm was burned out. I replaced it; the cold water pipe should thaw in a couple hours.

We’ll see what happens. When we were in California and our pipes froze, it split the hot water pipes. The plumber replaced them (both hot and cold, formerly copper) with some newer material (not PVC) which allegedly distributes heat better, so if the pipes freeze the water won’t split the pipe as easily.

Let’s ignore the fact that it’s still completely illegal to buy or sell weed in Texas. Or as the SF Chronicle points out, the invisible hand of the market has something to do with it:

When all the charges are added up, including cultivation taxes, they amount to about 40 percent of the cost of the goods, merchants say. Meanwhile, the wholesale price for marijuana has dropped over the past year, from around $2,000 a pound to about $500, further reducing profits.

I’d argue that he is slowly wearing down the Resistance itself, but the problem for him is that the process of doing so is pissing off the fence-sitters who once argued things like “Yeah, I hate that kids are in cages, but my retirement portfolio has never looked better!” The latter group is only going to grow as we move into a period of either stagflation or outright recession.

In large part, I imagine, because Donald Trump probably (sincerely, fwiw) doesn’t see his crimes as “crimes” per se - just “sharp business practices” - cavils about the strict legality of which can easily be dismissed as the jealous carping of “losers and haters”; i.e. anyone not Donald Trump or one of his adulatory supporters.

In other words, “Brown Skin”.

Well, there’s that. But really, the point is that he sees other countries as units. They act as a single unit, whether it’s the government, or corporations, or individuals. Thus “Germany” is bad because there are so many “German Cars” sold in America, even if many or most are built in America by Americans, and even if those companies build more cars in America than they sell here.

It’s a strange, childish way of seeing things as monolithic blocs instead of as individual subsets. It makes sense, if you’re really stupid.

He’s always had his money, whether to pay “fixers” to make his problems go away, lawyers to scare the fuck out of people threatening to file suits, or just outright buying off officials in the way that Cohn taught him. It’s what pisses him off so greatly, that he felt being elected meant the federal law enforcement agencies now worked for him and is finding out that isn’t so. In his mind, that’s how it’s always worked, because Bill and Barack never went to prison and they obviously committed all sorts of “crimes.”

She will literally have him do five things at once; confuse him; and then scream at him for being an idiot.

I have learned too many times to never say never. Especially with Trump.

Right now you are correct, it doesn’t appear the media are going to back off covering him.

But the media is driven by dollars and if Trump turns enough people off and it becomes bad for their bottom line they will lessen the coverage.

I think he will go down in flames before that would happen, so we are probably stuck with the media as they are. Covering the flame out will of course be full time Trump TV.
